    Thick Sesame Breadw.Green Onion

Food: thick sesame onion bread, three kind knife cut noodles, dried stir fried beans. Service: they were understaffed and the place was became packed after we arrived with like two waiters trying to handle the entire restaurant. I felt bad for them. Ambiance: pretty large with tables for large parties.

My regular spot for my fix of halal Chinese. Great service, price and portion. Great flavor and authentic as in Asia

Doesn't beat my favorite chinese spot in Diamond Bar, but I felt good eating here and definitely plan on revisiting. This visit was for a group lunch, we all ordered off the lunch specials menu. Plates contain decent proportions, enough to share with at least one or two others. Beef with broccoli: Classic and excellent mix. Dressed perfectly, damn near perfect taste every bite. Orange chicken: Would definitely take the cake as one of the best, but I feel some pieces of the chicken could have been prepared better for the crisp feel we all seek. Chicken fried rice: The rice looked dry AF but ended up being pretty good. I just wish the chicken pieces were cut smaller. Beef dumplings: A favorite choice for most. The flavor with texture mix did not hit home for me though. I failed at getting any photos of our food, but they all looked heavily appealing once delivered (minus the dry looking rice). The service was almost there, but disappeared once our food came. Didn't hear from a soul until she brought our bill. We were one of about 4 parties at the time, no one seemed under high demand.. They have a thick menu, so even though there are no pork choices, there is something for everyone.

This is my go-to Chinese restaurant. The menu is extensive so there is plenty to choose from. However, there are some items that are very similar to each other (e.g. same sauce, same flavor, just different protein) so make sure you ask the staff or refer to the picture menu. Otherwise, the food is always fresh and delicious. This is also an Islamic spot so the food is halal -- an important distinction from your typical Chinese restaurant. I ordered their Three Flavor Sizzling Rice Soup for starters. Nice piping hot on a rainy day. Highly recommended! Today, I also had the House Special Beef. The beef was thinly sliced and drizzled with thin teriyaki (?) sauce, and presented on a bed of steamed broccoli. Also highly recommended. They have lunch specials daily, including weekends, that includes egg rolls, soup, rice and main entree. The jasmine tea is one of the best -- very aromatic. Just make sure you give it enough time to steep. The staff is friendly and attentive, and gives input on the food items you choose. The place is clean, with the decor unmistakably Islamic. There is ample parking on both sides of the restaurant. Note that the restaurant closes at 3 PM and reopens promptly at 4:30 PM.

SHORT VERSION: good quality, delicious Chinese food that is consistent and great value. LONG VERSION: I have been going to Mas since 2012 and I have been at least 50 times - it is the original and still overall the best halal Chinese food restaurant I've been to across the country. After trying almost all of their items on the menu through the years, almost everything has been delicious - there was a dip in quality about 5-6 years ago but it has been consistently excellent for the last 5 years that I've been going. My personal favorite and go to items are: 1) chicken corn soup 2) orange chicken 3) garlic jalapeño chicken 4) filet mignon beef, 5) Mongolian beef 6) sole fish filet with spicy black bean sauce 7) honey walnut shrimp 8) home style thick chow mein noodles 9) green beans or cabbage with mushrooms. The restaurant is not super fancy but has fast service and there's big tables making it ideal for large family gatherings which we have had there many times. The portion sizes are large so the value for money is great compared to other restaurants too. Overall, I would highly recommend and hope it stays open for years to come!

THIN SESAME BREAD WITH GREEN ONION

If you know, you know. Ma's House Chinese Halal continues to be one of those comfort-classic spots I keep coming back to.. since 2009!!! Anaheim is my go-to, but they also have locations in Laguna Hills, San Diego, and Poway, with dine-in, takeout, catering, and banquet options--perfect for everything from casual meals to big family gatherings. Yes, prices have gone up over the past decade (as they have everywhere), but the lunch specials--ranging roughly from $14.50-$17.50--are still solid and come with an egg roll and steamed rice (lunch specials available daily except holidays; not available for takeout). Portions remain generous and satisfying. What to order (trust me): Lamb with pickled cabbage soup (large) -- feeds 8-12 people, slightly sour in the best way, loaded with hefty slices of lamb, and that sauerkraut-like tang is chef's kiss. Lamb with green onions -- bold, savory, and perfect if you enjoy that gamey lamb flavor (I do). Beef with green onions -- a more traditional, crowd-pleasing option. And don't skip the bread. Their thick sesame green onion bread is light, fluffy, and made for dipping. They also have thin bread and thin bread with red bean if you want variety. One of my favorite things? The diverse clientele--Muslim, Black, and various Asian communities all sharing tables here. It's a reminder of how food truly brings people together. Pro tip: Call ahead and order early--they get busy fast.

We have been going to this restaurant for over 15 years now and it never fails to meet our expectations. Our favorite dishes are the hot and sour soup, chicken, fried rice, sliced chicken with jalpenos, 3 flavors chowmein, fried wontons, and lamb stew. Everything is so delicious!! Customer service is excellent! I highly recommend this restaurant.

Food****// always a go to place for our family gathering. Their lamb dishes usually better than other places and tried their five spices beef it was juicy and flavorful Service****// usually packed but all waiters are experienced so they time it well to get your order and serve water, check in and finally get your bill and Togo boxes Ambiance***// it's a bit dated but no complaints after all that's all the memories are for, only wish they can update restroom which would give guests a nicer experience

This is such a great spot for chinese food! The service and quality of food is what keeps bringing me back. After my graduation from CSUF, I told my parents I wanted to eat here! Their food portions are meant to be shared, and they are perfect for groupings.

Great meal at this restaurant after a decade! Sizzling Black Pepper Beef is superb! This is a must get item! Three Flavor Spicy Curry Fried Rice was also a great dish. Not too spicy. I dig! Ian loved his Orange Chicken. Generous portions on the dishes. Fast service. Plenty of parking, plenty of seating. Do check this restaurant out for delicious Uyghur cuisine!!

Found this place after searching for Chinese food in an area surrounded by Korean food. Pretty random location and I almost missed the turn into the parking lot. Plenty of parking when I went on a Monday at lunch but maybe it fills up a bit more in the evenings or weekends. Staff was friendly and helpful and their decor in the main lobby goes hard. I make rice at home so just wanted to pick up 2 dishes to eat with it. I was reading through their online menu and saw they had a relatively good lunch deal for $13.99+ depending on which dish you get. I got the shredded chicken which comes with some vegetables as well as an egg roll and that was $13.99. Additionally picked up 2 other pretty authentic dishes for about $15 each that tasted great and came with large portions. They have a lot of other items on their menu and I'm sure patrons can easily find something suitable to their tastes. I'm moving from the area soon but if I stuck around, I'd be back often.

Premium combo = entree + $10 Entree + premium drink + masala fries I tried the bowl with mild biryani, malai chicken, green (mild) sauce, and guava mango lassi. The bowl already comes with the raita sauce (a yogurt sauce), so I got the green sauce as my choice of sauce after asking the staff for recommendations. The protein portion was super generous and very well-seasoned with their spice. The green sauce was my favorite and everything in the bowl mixed well together. The whole bowl was delicious and it didn't feel heavy, wasn't greasy. The Kashmiri Chai and the guava mango lassi are the most popular drinks, so I decided to try the guava mango lassi. The flavors blended so well. One wasn't more overpowering than the other, and the sweetness level was perfect for me, also, not too much ice. Masala fries So crispy and well-seasoned!! Could be a little less salty. Gulab jamun cheesecake Also asked for recommendations for their cheesecakes and decided to go with this one. It has the fried donut ball in the middle with syrup. It didn't taste too sweet to me, but I also have higher tolerance for sweets. The center has so much of the cheesecake cheese and it was super soft and fluffy. So delicious! The samosas were also great! Crispy and not too oily. I also love that they use compostable takeout containers, including the lid! The interior looks nice and there are a few seats available. There's outdoor shaded tables and seats too. The only downside is that I wish the outdoor seats were a bit cleaner. There is a free parking garage, just make sure to park in the retail spaces. There was enough parking. The staff members are so helpful and very friendly. Can order with a staff member or using their kiosk. HIGHLY recommend!! Would definitely go back!

From the jump, my friends and I felt so welcome, all thanks to our man Jake, who so attentively took our order. This man was such a vibe and provided top-tier customer service in spite of being short staffed. He always had a smile on this face and handled everything so well, especially the 11pm rush that came shortly after we ordered. I can write so much more about him, but he honestly set the stage for what I think of the best dining establishments I've ever been to. Shoutout Jake! The food? No notes. It was tasty, scrumptious, divine, exquisite, all of the above. That food was made with love and care -- shoutout to the kitchen staff! I got the crispy chicken sandwich and woah, what a revelation! Eggplant on the sandwich? Such a game changer, like some next level stuff here honestly. My friend got a burger and oh my god, I only had one bite, but it was honest to god one of the best burgers I've ever had in my life. My other friends got chicken tenders. Tender doesn't just describe the chicken but also the souls who prepared and served this amazing platter. They honestly put every other chicken tender I've had to shame, I'm afraid I won't ever have another chicken tender without comparing it to YoYos. Sides were scrumptious and the sauces that came with them were so good too. I don't know how they did it, but the soft drinks had something special too. Nothing disappointed, I'm telling you! I wish I took more photos of the food but it was just so good that I didn't have time for that. I had such an emotional experience eating here, and I wasn't under the influence or anything -- it was just that good! I could preach to the choir and write a whole song (maybe album) about how amazing my experience was here. It was so magical, I nearly cried thinking about how lucky I was to eat here and break bread with friends. I live in west LA and I would honestly drive however long it takes, even in traffic, just to eat here again. It was simply that good. It's one of those places that you just can't gatekeep because I honestly think a visit here would heal so many traumas and bad days. This was the perfect end to a day with friends, and I will be coming back sometime soon. You will not regret coming here, I guarantee it! If you do, I just think you're lying for clout because I firmly believe this place could not disappoint anyone! P.S. just in case I didn't highlight Jake enough, I need everyone to know that he is the man! The experience would be nothing if it weren't for him. P.S. again: if I were on death row or another situation with a "last meal" type of arrangement, YoYos would need to be a part of that final meal so that I could die so happy and enlightened

I came here on a Tuesday evening with two of my brothers and a friend came here to hangout. Me and…read moremy friend are not lamb fans and was a bit hesitant on ordering the food so we did hold off on ordering for ourselves. And said we decided to share and eat off of my two brothers plate before we decided to consider coming back or eating more. There was only one worker that was working at the time, but she did a phenomenal job, considering she was holding down the fort for the restaurant by herself. She also mentioned she doesn't like lamb, but she would eat the one here herself so it gave me a pretty good first impression thus far. We ordered the lamb skewers, grilled rib, shank over rice, homemade yogurt, and Cole slaw. Lamb Skewers - 4.5/5 the portion was very generous! $15 for 3 large skewers that was about 1.25 ft length each. Was perfectly grilled and did not taste gamey at all. I believe it was Szechuan pepper that seasoned the skewers. I didn't eat enough to recognize if there was any numbing, but the bite that I took was amazing. Outside was crunchy inside was chewy enough to enjoy, but not tough. Grilled rib - 5/5 I was very pleasantly surprised at how although it was very charred and crunchy in the outside that the inside was very soft and fatty. The meat literally fell off the bone. Again, no gaminess and very pleasant to enjoy. Shank - 5/5 I would have to say that this was the hero of the evening from all the dishes we ordered. The meat was extremely soft, fatty, and literally fell off the bone as I was holding it up. It was very similar to pork flavor and extremely enjoyable for me. On a separate note, I enjoyed that so much but because I had already eaten before this dinner, I came back a separate day to have that dish for myself. The rice seems to be cooked in some type of protein broth and if I had to guess it's probably lamb broth along with carrot. It also came with size of pickled items to lighten the fatness from the meat as well as a small bowl of lamb based soup. Homemade yogurt - 4/5 had a slight tartness to it and light sweetness, but was more leaning towards the sweet side of things. I enjoyed it with the dried raisins and the granola for texture and it was a pretty good ending to the entire meal. Coleslaw - 3/5 it tasted average and didn't seem to be anything special. Though it was good to have it along with all the other protein items to lighten up each bite.
