PREMISE: I went here on a Sunday evening with 3 other people; but, I've also ordered from them via Door Dash too. WAIT TIME: Very short wait time. We got our food really quickly but it still was warm when we had got our food. FOOD: Different styles of getting your food, whether you want a gyro or bowl. I opted for the bowl but my friend got the gyro. The gyro slightly fell apart due to the integrity of the wrap but otherwise, it still was good. I got the combo for my protein (lamb and chicken); I would suggest the lamb because it's not super gamey and it's very flavorful. As for the chicken, I thought it was okay. It was a little dry for me to be honest, even after with the addition of the white and green sauce. I also got the fries there and they came out fresh, hot, and crispy. Seasoned simply, but it still was very flavorful (way better than basic plain fries from a fast food restaurant). SERVICE: Service was simple/fine. We just had our order taken and that was it. They did bring our food to us rather than having us go to the counter which I thought was kind. PARKING: Parking is all free! It is in a busy plaza, but there are plenty of open spots all over the place. INTERIOR: The interior was fine, nothing fancy or extra. COMPARISON: I would definitely recommend this place over Halal Guys by a LANDSLIDE. I have always gotten stomach aches from Halal Guys despite going to several different locations. Finally got to try this spot. Heard about Naz's for so long now many a decade. Happy I was in the area to try this location. I got the 2 meat combo bowl. Went with the family for dinner on Saturday night to try this new place. Restaurant was clean and had a relaxed casual vibe. The menu options looked similar to the Halal Guys with chicken/lamb/falafel over rice plates + a variety of burgers, fries, wings, etc. We tried: 1) combo lamb/chicken over rice with white sauce 2) cheeseburger 3) chicken sandwich combo with fries/soda The lamb and white sauce were excellent and just what we expected. The chicken and rice from the plate had a South Asian/desi flavor with a bit of spice which was a little unexpected but overall worked ok. The chicken sandwich and cheeseburger were decent and average quality, but overall a good size portion and value for the price. Our fries were burnt when they came out but when I told the cashier/manager, he was apologetic and eager to make it up to us. He quickly made us a fresh new batch that were fine and threw in some brownies for the kids which was a nice gesture. Overall, it was a decent experience and I felt the food was a reasonable value for the price. This just opened up in Orange. When we got there on Sunday around 11, it was empty but people did start strolling in slowly afterwards. The quality of the food was fresh. The employee can be trained a little more as a customer walked in and talked about how this was Greek food and the employee just went with it. I had the chicken platter. The chicken was moist and the rice was good. The white sauce has a yogurt and garlic taste to it. The red sauce is a standard hot sauce. The French fries came out hot. My husband had the lamb platter and he enjoyed the meat. The portion size was pretty big as I was able to finish a little over half and was stuffed. I hope they keep up the quality. I went in this place around 11:15am with intention to place a large order for my office. The person on the counter was not welcoming. I asked to place an order and he sent me to a kiosk. Mind you there was only one other person I presume was a customer. The kiosk needed a passcode to enter the order screen. After several attempts to ask him for the passcode he rudely answered just a second. I'm not sure what's with the attitude but I have never had this horrible experience from a restaurant. Naz's is my favorite place to get halal food! They are open late, so perfect for after a night out or a concert. Upon entering, you can either order at the kiosk or at the counter, and I believe that they had a great bogo deal for their bowls. My favorite is the combo plate that has the lamb and the chicken. You can customize your bowl with different sauces, and other vegetables as well. I like getting the extra lettuce, onions, bell peppers, and green sauce. The portions are great, and often times one bowl for me is like two meals. The restaurant has a few casual indoor tables, but most of the time I grab to-go since my house is so close to here. So i saw they opened up this place down the way, they claim it to be like halal guys in NY but......... it's not. I mean it's good, it's like halal guys meets Indian food, the rice is just plain rice and the sauces are ok. I bought the chicken platter and my friend bought the lamb and chicken. The lamb isn't fresh, it's like a processed lamb, the flavor is there though, but without the combination of everything , it's just bland. This is my third time coming here and each time I am impressed! I always get their combo platter and it is plenty of food and potential leftovers! I love the white sauce and the hot sauce and the green sauce is pretty good too! We have gotten the fish and chips before and it's pretty good and the fries are my boyfriend's favorite. This visit, we have gotten the double cheeseburger, and don't let the picture on the menu fool you, it's a massive burger and it's REALLY good. A lot better than a lot of fast food places. Other ingredients were very fresh and yummy What's really nice here is that the food is seasoned well but they left the spice/"kick" in the sauces, so if you don't like "heat" or too much spice, this will be perfect for you. I've been waiting almost a year for this place to open--mainly so I wouldn't have to keep paying $9.99 just for delivery fees. I couldn't make the grand opening, but today I finally got to try it in person. Ordering through the DoorDash app for pickup was smooth and easy. I was greeted by Yousef (super friendly!) and even got to meet the owner, Hussain. I went with my go-to chicken wrap with white sauce, no veggies--and it did not disappoint. What sets Naz's apart is the flavor and the variety. The meats are juicy and delicious, and the menu has everything: wings, wraps, bowls, burgers, brownie bites--the list goes on. The prices are reasonable too, which means I can already see myself coming here 3-4 times a week. My food came out hot, fresh, and packed with flavor. My boyfriend told me about this place and I was not disappointed! I guess this place is a chain and this location is the only one in the area. It's located in the same shopping center as Target on Tustin, on the corner of Tustin and Meats. Tons of parking. There's a handful of tables, but it's never been overly crowded when we've come in, but it's roomy and spaced out, so you're not sitting on top of one another. The thing I love most about this place besides the food is that they're open late (2AM Sundays-Thursdays and 4AM Fridays-Saturdays). There's lots of food options. I've gotten the chance to try a couple of things. My go to is the gyro rice platter! They give you huge portions and it's BOGO on Uber Eats, so I always get that if I want a meal for the next day. My second favorite choice is the chopped cheese sandwich. It's definitely worth trying. This place is also one of the only places I've seen in a long time that has corn nuggets. Their baklava cheesecake is delicious too! Service is always great! I can see them getting busy because of Uber orders, but they manage really well and are really nice. We either go in to eat or order online and pick up to save money if we don't feel like dining in. They Gyro were cube chunks - not strips as a Gyro usually is, looked like they were cooked in a pan. The Philly cheese barely had any flavor - it just tasted like meat and cheese - barely any seasoning. It was just weird. Again, the food is edible, but not what I was expecting.
