Looking for postcards in Seattle, Washington…read more.. I searched Target/CVS pharmacy nearby - in downtown - but couldn't find any. Since Walgreens was within sight, I decided to check it out. There were none in the greeting cards aisle and none near the souvenir t-shirts. I asked the Security Guard and he suggested Aisle 4... Nope. That's the beverage aisle. I thought that I should check Aisle 1 since I looked in every other aisle... Of course the post cards were there! The last place was the winner! I grabbed a bunch and waited in line to pay. The customers ahead of me didn't have their wallets out and one woman had questions about a gift card. I give these store clerks credit... challenging customers test your patience... LOL! I just wanted to hurry outta there because I wasn't sure if I was in a free parking space on the street or not!

I…read morejust needed to grab a couple of waters and an energy drink for me and a coworker on my way to the office. Seemed easy enough. But this store was almost empty. The shelves were bare; I was surprised to see so little stuff. I found water, but they didn't have the energy drink I wanted, so I had to get something else. That wasn't the only problem. There were two security guards who kept watching me as I walked around (even though I was wearing business clothes and clearly wasn't stealing anything). I get that security is important in the downtown areas of cities, but being followed while just trying to figure out what to get with the horrible selection felt weird and a little insulting. I had a backpack, but I didn't think I needed that much attention. On top of that, there were two guys doing drugs right in front of the store windows. I know the store can't control what happens outside, but it made the whole place feel really uncomfortable, especially at 9:00 in the morning. I know a lot of cities in the Pacific Northwest have problems with drugs, and some stores are still having trouble after the pandemic. But not even having basic things in stock, plus the security following me, and the drug use right outside made it a bad experience. This place gets one star, not just because of what was happening outside, but because they didn't even have the stuff I needed. It's a sad situation, and I hope it gets better.

From the first time I went to pick up my prescription AFTER receiving a text notification stating it was ready, I was forced to wait close to 30 minutes because it was in fact not ready for pick up, to this month needing to confirm that my prescription was able to be filled because the pharmacist told me I may need a prior auth - However there is ZERO number you can call as a patient and actually get through to speak to a person. You are forced to share all of your private information with an AI chat bot and then once you've made it through all the AI hoops you have to jump through, the ONLY option for patients is to leave a voicemail to which you will NEVER get called back. As someone who works in healthcare with cancer patients who need a reliable pharmacy with decent human beings working at it I would NEVER recommend to one of my patients that they put their life in the hands of these lazy, rude, couldn't care less about patient people at CVS Pharmacy inside of Target on 2nd Ave in Seattle. PS... Lets not forget that simply based on the location any person who walks into the store et large is treated like a drug addled homeless person.

There is no added value in this. The manufactured personalization is fake, and they aren't going to know when during your birthday to send it, even it were an appropriate topic for interrupting. They should know your scripts and allergies and insurance filing info, not your schedule. This text was an overreach, and disrupted a rare opportunity to sleep in. Sleeping in one's birthday is a common happier birthday wish, so I felt it worth reporting. I also told the business, and I hope they discontinue this wrongheaded program soon. Using a local business for its unique ability to not act like a franchise shouldn't be like that. Even if it was an email, I don't want to live in a world where people get more birthday wishes from bots than loved ones. That's depressing.

I understand why they have had to do that, but damn, if there is barely anyone working, who exactly is supposed to come unlock it? The one lonely cashier who is already dealing with a line and whatever fresh insanity is happening at the front of the store? Every visit feels stressful, disorganized, and way more exhausting than it should be. At this point, even grabbing one simple item feels like a whole production. I know retail in this neighborhood is dealing with a lot, and I do not envy the staff at all. But as a customer, this place is just consistently miserable to deal with.

You can't help but notice at this point! We keep wondering if they are going to be closing permanently . However, I asked one of the pharmacist techs about it, and she said she didn't know anything about a closure. So I guess we will just have to wait and see. I still shop there, and I still recommend it, just be aware that they might be out of what you're looking for. If they are not closing, I sure hope that they work out whatever kinks are in their system that keep them from replenishing their shelves! I…read morefinally switched over to a local, family-owned pharmacy (Nguyen Pharmacy) because of repeatedly terrible experiences with this Walgreens. I don't blame the pharmacists that work here. I feel like they do the best they can with the limited resources they have. They are regularly understaffed, even before the pandemic. I have to take controlled substances for my disabilities and my refills were delayed every time. The app is helpful for submitting your refill request but not for getting status updates (same with opting in for text updates). Whenever I have to call in to the pharmacy to get clarification on my prescription refill request (usually prior authorization is needed or more information from my doctor is needed or it's too early to request a refill), I'm put on hold for 30 minutes, sometimes over an hour. There is an annoying automated message that plays literally every 10 seconds (I've counted) the entire time you're on hold so it really is maddening. A couple of times, I've waited on hold for 30+ minutes only for the call to drop, therefore losing my place "in line" (though sometimes there is no other callers in line, it's just that the staff are prioritizing customers that are in-store or in the drive through). My experience after switching to a local, family-owned pharmacy has been night and day (you can see my review of Nguyen Pharmacy on their Yelp page). Also, I wasn't expecting my medication to be free at Nguyen compared to the amount I pay with Walgreens, despite the cost estimator for my medical insurance showing the cost estimate for Nguyen as the same as Walgreens. I've experienced long lines (in-person and in drive through) and being put on hold at other Walgreens locations in Seattle and in other states. I'm not sure if it's Walgreens-specific or if customers of other national pharmacy chains experience the same thing. All I know is Walgreens on S Jackson ain't it for pharmacy needs.

UPS did not get the medication to my local UPS transfer point on 3/20 as planned. They tried to deliver it on 3/23 and I refused delivery. There is no way I'm going to inject a medication that has been without refrigeration for 4 days. I called CVS to discuss this with them. They told me it was my fault for not accepting the medication to test it's stability. Then, after nearly 40 minutes, they told me I could re-order the medication, but I needed to call back. I did call back and ended up back at square one and was told to call back tomorrow. Unfortunately the same thing happened two months ago. I'm tired of wasting my time on hold with CVS and not getting a simple answer to a simple problem. They are awful to deal with and do not respect their clients.

I was trying for weeks to obtain some critical (and potentially life saving) medication for my daughter who was going abroad. After numerous failed attempts with other speciality & regular pharmacies, I came upon this pharmacy. The staff went above and beyond in helping us to navigate some unbelievable complexities with our insurance and my daughter's doctor. They cared about the outcome & sat on the phone with either myself or my daughter's doctor's clinic for literally hours. They also found a discount code to use that helped us financially afford the medicine when our insurance wouldn't pay for my daughter to have enough of it to be able to go abroad. Joe & Mary were specifically helpful. Joe spent a huge amount of time working out details to push our prescription through & allow my daughter to get her medication on time to make her flight for study abroad. I don't want to think about where we would be without this pharmacy. THANK YOU!!!
