I contracted with the owner of this company. He gave me a price and asked for half of the money. I Zelle's it to him. Big mistake! He took my money, $3500.00 and never showed up! He said he would send me the money but he hasn't and he's not going to. Never use Zelle to pay for a service! There is no recourse except to go through the court system. I'm retired, so I have the time to do it and I will. I'm 72 and disabled and alone. He took advantage of me and he scammed me. The police call it fraud. Don't trust this guy. He's a liar and a scammer. He screwed an old lady out of a lot of money. Not only for the move but I also lost the money on my flight and hotel room so add another $300.00 to that! I hired him to move a couch and a persian carpet I'd just purchased. I gave him the approximate dimensions of 8.5 ft long x 4.5 ft deep (which it is). I told him the carpet was 13 feet long and rolled up. He shows up in an SUV with one guy to help him. We questioned if the couch would fit, he insisted it would, and tried twice to load it without wrapping it up in anything. It wouldn't fit, just as we had tried to suggest to him. During his attempts he nicked the wood right on top of the couch, which had to be pointed out to him. He got angry and swore like a sailor about how he would now have to go back and get a bigger truck. Five minutes after leaving he messaged me and said he couldn't do my job. Subsequent calls to talk about the damage to my couch get no answer. Even if I had given him the wrong dimensions--which I didn't--he should have 1) wrapped the couch, and 2) known that it wouldn't fit in that SUV he brought. read more

Abridged: Thomas agreed to deliver my items across the country. He arrived to pick up my belongings but later could not deliver them, forcing me to hire a second moving service to pick up where he left off. 9 months later he is still unable to provide a refund for services not rendered. My experience with Thomas and Dimura's Moving Service was from December 2016 to January 2017. It was for a cross-country move from AZ to PA, so bear in mind it may not reflect an in-state move. Pros: Moving team was actually very friendly. Items were intact and undamaged. Cons: Moving team arrived at late and staggered times. Thomas used racial epithets to describe his clients. Highly unprofessional. Never actually delivered my items to target destination. Took half the money to move belongings and my car to his storage unit until he was to go to PA. Called 3 weeks later to say he could not make the move because his other East Coast clients 'fell through.' I ended up spending another $2,500 to have an auto transport take my car and a ReloCube take my belongings from his place. I asked for a refund, lo and behold he had already spent my deposit, and opened up a conversation about creating a payment plan. Along came a slew of false promises to 'send me my money back,' and excuses as to why payments were delayed. 9 months later and here I am, acknowledging that I will likely never receive anything but sending out fair warning to anyone else trying to use this 'business,' for a long-distance move. read more

Anyways this was the worst company EVERRR i unfortunately was helping my friend find a mover and i came across this CO who offered me a deal and I went ahead and hired them. My friend didn't receive none of his belongings from when TOM had his people pick up on 12/31/13 til March 5th!!! Dimura's Moving Service LLC, specifically the owner Thomas DiMura picked up my client's possessions, refused to complete the remainder of the job, refused to return the $1,694.00 deposit and then stole items from my client. Dimura first picked up my client's possession on April 18, 2020. He was scheduled to deliver the items to North Carolina by May 12, 2020. The property was never delivered. Instead it remained in Dimura's storage locker for months, until finally my clients had to pay new movers ($4,540.44) to go to the locker, pick up the items then transport them to North Carolina. Upon arrival, various expensive/sentimental items were missing. Dimura has made numerous excuses for not repaying the deposit, such as his Venmo was hacked. Would give 0 stars if I could. Booked this mover weeks in advance. Not once did they reach out to me. I had to call them every time to make sure we were still on. Every time it was confirmed. Day of move they're late.....call the mover and he says he didn't even remember talking to me!!! Even though we just spoke the previous night. And then continued to say they were actually double booked and he would be here by 1pm. I was completely okay with that...waited all day for them. 1 pm passes and NOTHING. 2pm rolls around and he says he's on his way. 15 minutes later I get a text, not a call, saying he's canceling and can't do the job. I immediately call him to see if we can reschedule. He continued to ignore my calls. The absolute most unprofessional company I have ever dealt with. Couldn't even answer the phone! So I told him he was a coward since he wouldn't even answer after he led me on all day that they were coming. Made me wait all day only to cancel and not even have the respect to answer the phone to possibly reschedule. Instead of answering the phone he decided to text me stating "I'm not a slave and hey fuck you". Mind blowing! This was a terrible moving experience. -They started the day by being 30+ minutes late. - One of the 2 movers would not stop going on about how hung over he was from the night before. - I was told when I booked the move that they would provide a mattress bag. They showed up without one. The first time one of them picked up my new $3000 mattress he left his filthy hand marks all over it. They then proceeded to plastic wrap it, which is good, except they used all of it up and only had enough to do half of 1 of my 2 sofas. So not only were the sofas pretty much uncovered but my fabric headboard and bed frame were left completely uncovered. - They put a nice size hole in my new sofa. - Every other piece of furniture was left unwrapped and repeatedly placed on barre concrete. - Once I called the owner to explain what was going on, instead of handling it like a professional, he started cursing about his guys. I guess the saying "you get what you pay for" stands true, just wish $60/hr would buy some level of service. Would never use this company again. read more

DiMura bid on a move that was to be picked up on Jan 9th in Queen Creek, AZ and to be delivered to Fallbrook, Ca. He changed pick to the 8th because he had to be in Calif on the 9th. My son and I were going to meet him there to make sure the jukebox was wrapped and properly tied down. Because I had to be there on the 8th I (70 yrs old) had to drive over alone, I arrived at 2pm my window was between 1-3pm. I waited until 6pm, I called 4 or 5 times left my number on his voice mail. I call until about 9:30 pm still voice mail, on the 9th I call again voice mail, as of this writing still no word from him. I reaffirmed on the night of the 7th he told me he would be there, and thanked me for changing my schedule. **********DO NOT USE THIS MAN************ HE LEFT ME HIGH AND DRY DiMura called today Jan 12, first time I heard from him since I called him to reaffirm the pick up of my jukebox on Jan 7. Hired them for my move 2 days ago and overall they did a very good job. Moving in the summer heat in AZ is not easy. I can see both of the movers have a lot of experience and they did manage to move my big couch through the narrow stairway and doorway in my old apartment which is impressive as when I moved in the moving guys couldn't get that couch in in their first try and had to leave it in my garage. But one of the guys did break my lamp during the move otherwise I would give them 5 star. One of the movers looks like in his 50s. He still can do the job but I just dont think he should be hired to do this job at his age, not safe and no good for his health. Anyway, overall I am satisfied. read more

NEVER NEVER USE DiMURA MOVERS!!! I would give him 0 starts if I could. Third time using & had no previous major problems but this is the 1st time I had anything valuable. Moved on May 10, 2016; DiMura's ad says "Fully Licensed and Insured," which I assumed meant insured for coverage, not by weight. Movers broke my $2,000 60" Samsung tv (last thing I did before leaving house to meet movers at storage unit was watch the wall-mounted tv; there is absolutely NO QUESTION they broke it; when Cox turned it on May 11, huge crack on lower right, screen half dark; after 3 weeks, it finally had no picture at all). DiMura told me I should have gotten extra insurance; when I asked why he didn't bother telling me that BEFORE he moved it, I got no answer. I would have been happy to pay for extra insurance!!! His insurance will only cover $300 but he won't even put in a claim. I have at least 30 emails between us where he promises a replacement until he can get mine fixed (told me he has TWO smart tv flat screens I could use). He finally showed up after 2 weeks (Tuesday the 24th) with an ancient non-flat-screen, non-smart tv; the picture was so dark the writing on the bottom third of the screen was unreadable. He promised to come on Thursday the 26th with a good one and never showed & never responded to texts. He has made appointments multiple times previously to show up & didn't; multiple excuses, multiple promises. I also have a 30-minute recording of everything said when he delivered the crappy replacement tv (including telling me he didn't want to hear any of my "New York bullshit" anymore: this is what's known in psychology as "projection"). I don't want him doing this to anyone else. Nothing but lies from the start. Have contacted tv stations & Better Business Bureau & am trying to think of more ways to put him out of business. read more

Tom came to my house on May 29, 2014 picked up all my house hold and my 2010 Nissan Altima and contracted to bring my stuff to Florida in 2 weeks. Needless to say that this 2 week delivery never happened! When I called him to find out when he would be bringing my stuff he said I will leave next week. Again that never happened. every week for 3 weeks same story. Now it is July 13, 2014 for the last week he doesn't even answer my calls or return my messages. I am not sure what to do now except call the Police and report all my things and car stolen!!! Watch out for this guy... As a final her view he kept my things and car for 2 months and I had to call Federal DOT to get him to move my stuff. When he final was found DOT made him hire someone else to bring my things. To my surprise my car had been driven 600 miles by someone and found not in storage but in one of Toms friends driveway! Then when my car final showed up in.
