She has done a great job correcting my shoddy eyebrow job done 5 years ago by Winnie with Lashe Love in Durham. I had a consultation with Sonya and we worked out a strategy to achieve what I wanted for my brows. I got them done twice in VA, both several years ago and they had started to fade a bluish/greenish brown from the dark brown they had been. This is actually the second local salon I visited for this service, the first told me I'd need to have them lasered off before starting over. Sonya evaluated and said she could fix them no problem. The first session we worked on the color correction and kept the shape mostly the same. The second session (a month later) we finalized the color and went a little bigger on the shape. The final session (a month later) we finished the shape and I ended up with exactly what I wanted. The process was easy, I felt informed every step of the way and Sonya is clearly an expect in her craft. As mentioned above, I have also been going to this salon for my eyelashes for a few months with Maria. She is also an expert at her craft and I always love my lashes. I was asked to pick a nail color from their huge selection of nail polishes and then seated in a super comfy massage chair (I was told the chairs are new.) The woman working on my feet was super attentive and gave a great foot massage. The reason I'm not giving 5 stars is because I noticed after leaving that I still had some rough skin on the sides of my heels. I wish she had taken a little more time on them with the rasp. Otherwise, I had a great experience and I would definitely go back. I'll just be sure to ask they use the rasp to get more of the rough skin off my feet.

Recently, after reviewing my transaction and comparing pricing, I reached out respectfully to ask for clarification regarding the charge and to address concerns about the results of the work she performed. I outlined my questions clearly and requested that communication remain in writing so there would be no misunderstandings. As shown in the screenshots, rather than addressing the pricing discrepancy or concerns in writing, I was told to "move forward with my next steps" because I was not willing to switch to a phone call. I made multiple attempts to resolve this directly and professionally before sharing this review. My request was simply for written clarification regarding a financial and service concern. I'm sharing this experience for transparency so others can make informed decisions. Based on how this situation was handled, I would not personally recommend her to anyone. What makes a good business absolutely depends on how they handle any arising issues and how they communicate.
