Very sweet ladies at this nail salon. I was happy to miss the 4th of July rush and they took their time with my mani/pedi.

After not having a pedicure all winter, my feet were in desperate need of one. I called ahead to see if I needed to make an appointment and the very friendly lady told me to come right on it. I decided to go with the basic pedicure which is $33. I was asked to pick a nail color from their huge selection of nail polishes and then seated in a super comfy massage chair (I was told the chairs are new.) The woman working on my feet was super attentive and gave a great foot massage. The reason I'm not giving 5 stars is because I noticed after leaving that I still had some rough skin on the sides of my heels. I wish she had taken a little more time on them with the rasp. Otherwise, I had a great experience and I would definitely go back. I'll just be sure to ask they use the rasp to get more of the rough skin off my feet. read more

Came here at the last minute to remove gel polish and get a manicure. Very friendly staff and clean salon. The down side was that it cost $15 to remove gel and $18 for a clear polish per their recommendation that started chipping in a couple of days. read more

"HORRIFIC ". Poorest quality salon services I have ever received, except for when someone removed most of my left eyebrow in Scotts Valley, California. The polish options were off brand and appeared old. Worst manicure of my life, and I'm over 50 years old. The level of awfulness was apparent after I left and put on my glasses. I went straight home and removed as much as possible. Two weeks later-- some of the polish I still can't get off. The eyelash extensions started popping off ( thankfully) after a couple of days and were all gone within a week. I paid, tipped well, and didn't complain. Too awkward. Fairly good prices for service. The prices went up by about $3 per service (my gel nails were $28 and my friends regular manicure was $15). Hand massage was included, which is fairly normal, but the added shoulder massage was a nice touch - makes Elite Nails stand out from other nails salons. read more

Though the service was excellent and the lady who did my nails was very nice and attentive, I'd expect for $67 to have nails that aren't chipping 3 days later. I got a gel mani/pedi and sadly the pedi nail polish is streaky and my gel French tips are already chipping. It's not a bad place but it could definitely use some improvement. I've had mani pedis elsewhere that lasted a long time with no chips or streaks, especially with the gel polish. read more

I have been getting SNS powder for a few years. It always lasts at least 4 weeks. I had my nails done here and they started lifting after one week. Before two weeks the polish was coming off. As a busy mom, I need my polish to last and this just doesn't cut it. read more

AVOID this place! Went here for a pedicure with high hopes due to mostly good reviews but almost left in tears. My 1st time here. I was pleasant, smiled and was simply there for a relaxing pedicure but the lady for absolutely no reason was snappy, rude & gave the worst pedicure. She barely filed my heels for 30 seconds , barely massaged...basically did a polish change and kept making mistakes having to redo the same nail 4 times. I looked around & other women who had been there way before me was still getting pedicures done and i was given a quick half ass pedi & finished. So not sure if this tech was just in a bad mood but seeing that i was black i honestly felt she was being racist as she had no other reason to treat me the way she did. I wish i got her name but she was cock eyed with a nasty attitude. Avoid her & if you ever receive similar treatment avoid the whole place because something tells me it's not just a 1 tech problem but poor managment as well. read more

I'm pretty shocked there is only one review for Elite nails. This is my go to nail salon in Apex. I just can't say enough about the amazing people who work here. They truly treat everyone like family. They will all know your name by your second visit. I've never had to wait anytime I've walked in. I've had mani's, pedi's, and even my eyebrows waxed here and I've never been disappointed. My friend had her bridal party come here to get their nails done and they were very accommodating. Great place to go to have your nails done. The staff listens and gives advice on what type of polish to use (without sounding condescending). I had a french pedicure and my toes still look great 2 weeks later! The prices were reasonable and it was easy to make an appointment by phone. They can get pretty busy though, so I'd definitely call ahead to make an appointment so you don't end up waiting long. I did notice that they take walk-ins, but as good businesses do, if you had an appointment, they'll take you back at the appropriate time. read more

I just went for a pedi with my mama-in-law and everyone there was very nice! Bonus, my toes are now a fantastic hot pink color. MIL got a mani and pedi and she's very happy with the results. She even accidentally smudged one of her nails and the lady fixed it right quick! The best part was the foot massage during the pedi! I will be back, that's for sure! read more

The manicure and pedicure I got for $40 was so-so. There was no foot massage whatsoever, and less than a minute on my neck and shoulders. The technician did cut into the skin on my toes, which was not appreciated. I'm going to check out other places. My daughter and I went in for a pedicure/kid's polish and I'm so glad we did. We didn't have an appointment but didn't wait long at all for chairs. I had the sweetest lady, Ann, do my pedicure and my daughter had a mail technician who was very sweet with her (she's only seven) and did cute dots on her nails (per her request). My pedicure was wonderful and relaxing and the polish looked perfect. It was also priced fairly (35.00 for a deluxe pedi and 10 for kid polish & nail art). We will return soon! read more

If you opt for the quick "natural manicure" like me, insist on washing your hands before they begin putting on polish. That step was skipped on me as the nail tech simply used a brush to wipe my nails. Polish was chipping the next day. Oh, and my shoulder massage lasted about 30 seconds. Why bother. With the tip I should have just thrown my $20 out the window and polished my nails at home. At least I get at least a week out of my at home manicures. Michelle is the main nail tech, works here with her mom- she is wonderful, sweet, and will still take you if you walk in at 6:55! Her pedicures are the best, she has her tech's set a timer... ( I had a 12 minute pedi at another nail place)...won't happen here! Her salon is spotless, updated, and welcoming. On website nail removal is $5, a month ago I paid $10 (matching their inside price list) but yesterday I was charged $15 for nail removal. Annoyed at the upcharge since it was nails they put on in the first place.. but still super friendly staff, recognized me when I walked in and even remembered to ask about my wedding. Had my first gel manicure yesterday and I am very happy with the results. I had made an appointment and was immediately invited to sit and select my color. They had nail boards with the colors that made it easy to choose (though I changed my mind about the color just before she started, which she approved). The whole process was explained and the tech did a very thorough job of prepping my nails. I am thrilled with the beautiful results, and will happily bump this up to 5 stars if they last as promised! 2-week update: Bumping this up to 5 stars. My manicure looks as good today as it did when I had it done (except a small amount of unpolished area at the base of each nail - but that's new growth and I can't count that). Hands down my favorite nail salon! I've been getting pampered here for 7 years now and I always leave with a smile on my face! All of the nail techs are excellent and professional and the services are reasonably priced. My favorite service is the Deluxe Pedicure- priced at $30 this service is amazing!! They recently added a children's pedicure chair with massage features. My 8 year old daughter really enjoyed a chair just her size! Usually I don't rate places that aren't worthy but this place made me feel like home, The boss Michelle did so much for me and made sure I had the WiFi meanwhile getting my pedicure done lol. I'm seeing all these bad reviews but the atmosphere was beyond amazing when I was in there and the wait time was nowhere near 5 mins on a Saturday!! This salon truly has the benefit of customers in mind! Michelle contacted me shortly after my initial review. She explained that after looking into the situation, the issue was caused by the line of new UV gel products they were trying at the salon. Recent news stories about UV gel causing skin cancer on fingers prompted her to look into alternative products to reduce the risk to her customers. How thoughtful! She quickly apologized for the inconvenience and offered to remediate the problem with a refund and alternative service. What an awesome business!!! My husband and I both really enjoyed our pedicures and will certainly be making the trek back to Apex from now on. You just gained two new loyal customers. :) read more

I went in for a pedicure which I so monthly. I had a high school student do the service. He told me he had no training other than his mother's teaching. He only cut my big toe nails, got a great deal of polish on my feet and had the nerve to charge me the full price. Avoid this place. read more

Today I was very disappointed with Elite Nails today in Apex NC! I was referred by an co-worker to this salon and my first experience was pleasant until I discovered I was being charge $10.00 more than my Caucasian co-worker for the exact same service. Today I called to schedule an appointment for 1:00 with a particular nail tech, when I arrived there was another customer in the chair and I was told it would be 1 hour before I could be service! Needless to say I was very upset and left feeling as tho my time and support of this business was not appreciated. read more

We called 10 minutes ahead for 2 manicures - 1 gel and one regular. They were able to accommodate us on very short notice, and that is the only reason they are getting 2 stars. My friends manicure was mediocre, and it took an hour to remove my gel polish. My hands were put into cold waters which I believe may have been from a previous client. Then it was replaced with extremely hot water which was unpleasant to soak in. The nail tech burned me with the electric file more than once, and she repeatedly cut and hurt my hands while trimming. I had to be somewhere and had to leave with no polish on very scratched looking nails. She was going to send me off without even doing a good shaping of the nails - even though I was charged for a manicure without polish. Will not be coming back after such a bad experience. $20 to have polish removed and cuticles trimmed, with complimentary cuts along the way. read more
