Quick stop for ice cream and Vietnamese coffee & Banh mi
    Sophie H.

5 Stars I never noticed this place before - as many times as I've come to this shopping center for playa bowls (off of the 151 Access Rd). Well my kids saw it and asked to go there instead of smoothies and smoothie bowls. After getting my smoothie bowl, we walked over to Ding Tea & Crumbs in search of bubble tea. We didn't know they had puffles (puffed or bubble waffles). So the kids changed their minds about bubble tea and opted for ice cream instead. The really COOL thing about this place is that you get to add mix-ins into your waffle. Each mix-in is a nominal 25 cents. The waffle itself can be vanilla, chocolate or strawberry flavored. From there, you pick your ice cream (several to choose from). Toppings are also 25 cents each. The first kid got a vanilla waffle with chocolate chip and mini M&M mix-ins, strawberry ice cream and Kit Kat & Oreo toppings. The second kid got a vanilla waffle with Oreo and mini M&M mix-ins, Oreo ice cream, and Kit Kat & condensed milk toppings. ($7 each with my 2 mix-ins and 2 toppings = $14) The mommy (that's me) got a small Vietnamese coffee ($5.25) & a banh mi dac biet (house special/combination $7.25) with extra pate ($1). The coffee was good and the banh mi was very large! The bread is perfectly crusty with the right amount of toppings (cilantro, cucumber, jalapeno strips, and pickled carrots) and plenty of meat. The banh mi from here is hands down much better than the Ding Tea & Crumbs off of shaenfield. I paid $32.75, which included my added tip. Totally worth it. Note: everything is made pretty fresh so we had to wait about 20min for our order (waffles have to be made fresh to order). So don't pop in for ice cream if you're in a rush.

I'm not sure how they only have 2 reviews, but let's try to get them some more Yelpers! We went in like 15 minutes before closing and the people were sooo kind to make us our drinks!! They were very friendly and gave us time to make our selections rather than rushing us to close, which I can always appreciate :) We got the taro milk tea and vanilla milk tea. Not too sweet, but had really good flavor! I didn't like the tapioca as much as I usually do, it was more like a raisin texture than tapioca boba. It's one of the few boba spots in this area AND is open late night so I would definitely recommend trying it out. They had a lot of different food and drink options on the menu so it's worth a try for sure!

This place is wonderful it's a place that's not too far away from where I reside and it's never packed surprisingly! The vibe inside is very chill with modern upbeat music playing. The smells are wonderful from the waffles being made. The drinks come out quick but the waffle with ice cream takes a bit, so don't expect to be in and out in 10mins. If you are cool with the wait, you'll be fine. The prices are very similar to other boba locations. Their selections are not too vast as others which was a bummer, but they still had what I like. The add ins are few but enough to suffice. Overall for price and quality, I would recommend it.

The name of this location was confusing. The outside sign is different than the sign indoors, as well as the name on Yelp AND google. The Banh Mi's were not good at all, one was very cold and put together pretty strangely. We didn't finish them. After looking at other reviews it seems that this place will be better for the Boba Teas, but I do not drink Boba Tea. I wanted to try this place because I was going to get food at Sprouts. I took a chance and ordered two different Banh Mi sandwiches. I would say the interior was clean and well set up. Next time I will try a drink of some kind, if we do come back. It took a very long time (about 45min) for one girl to make two Banh Mi's, which was confusing bc I was the only person in the store. She went to the back room for a while before coming back to the front counter to make my food. Someone came in and ordered a boba tea, and the girl at the counter made the boba tea first. As I still waited for her to even begin my Banh Mi. Again, the boba may be good if you like it.

I love this place I come all the time and the boba is great but I will never order the food again! They should stick to boba because the food is so unappetizing I was genuinely scared to take a bite but my girlfriend told me to try it I thought it would at least fast good but it was disgusting!

    Signature Milk Tea Smoothie/Slushie

We're traveling back home from visiting for the weekend. We're leaving Torchy's and saw this in the shopping center. I went in and asked if they still had the Signature Milk Tea Smoothie. I ordered it and saw a review that their drink took over 30 minutes to deliver. I ordered with an order ahead of me at 1:43 PM and was in our vehicle and took this photo at 1:48 PM. Service was quick, the cashier's voice was low & soft yet kind. Another worker with her, too. Location is clean and music is pleasant. Flavour is subtle and sweet and perfect slushie blend. (8

Stop by here for the first time and was greeted by two young girls. They were friendly and was patient with us for taking our time looking through the menu. Ordered a jasmine milk tea and a winter melon milk tea. They were really tasty and for two large drinks the price was around $13. Not to bad. The place was clean and wasn't busy at all.

Strawberry ice cream on bubble waffle with m&m toppings.

Name on the outside doesn't match the yelp listing but i digress. It's been 12 mi s and I'm yet to receive my order of ice cream. Don't ask for any adjustments because even tho they have it the response will be "we don't do that". My kid just wanted some popping balls they normal put in the tea. Oh well. We'll continue waiting.

This is me waiting for my singular cup of boba. 30 mins in... lol

Never did I expect to find a whole restaurant dedicated to chicken salads, but it actually makes for a very satisfying lunch spot. They have daily specials and on Friday we were excited for their tomato bisque. I tried their pimento cheese chicken salad, and sorta regretted it because it was very sweet when sandwiched in a croissant as my bread. My partner picked their new Jill pickle chicken salad on wheat and as a BLT, it was a much more savory option. We split and swapped our sandwiches which made for a good balance. I also tried their broccoli salad as my side and liked it. It had a light mayo dressing and a bit of cheese and bacon. Their tea options were also good and I drank their peach ice tea. Next time I want to try their buffalo chicken salad or maybe take home one of their to-go portions as an easy meal for the week. I support this restaurant concept! It's so smart that it's next to a healthy grocery store like Sprouts. The food came out super quick too!

But that…read morechicken salad BLT sandwich has stayed in my mind making me drool at night, sometimes after they're closed. So today I decided it was time to revisit. It's a little hard for me to eat inside restaurants anymore so I do mostly takeout, especially take out brought to my car. Just less pain for me. But OH this is worth the discomfort. Not that it's hard for handicapped. Parking is close to the building and handicap parking is close. It's easy to push open the door and plenty of room to walk or wheel through. I happened to stumble upon customer appreciation day, so was instantly greeted and handed a cup of Carol's chicken salad to take home. Wonderful surprise. Now I have to talk about the staff here. Always so friendly and helpful. And they don't just stand behind the counter. They come out and help. There are a number, a lot of varieties of fillings to choose from. They offer samples of any you wish to try. So you see it could take a while but it really doesn't. What with my pain and some new varieties since my last visit I was a little scatter brained. But they treated me like a loved friend or family member not annoyed at all. She even noticed my military ID when I got my credit card out and gave me that discount automatically. I also sat where I could see them react with the take out and pick up customers. Again smiling, friendly, helpful...helped to carry out or check the order. Could not have been nicer. Had them sit if not ready and brought to the table. So really above 5 star on that! Now the food. Not quite five star...but maybe that's me. Maybe I ordered wrong. It's been a while and I'm really nitpicking here. The bread on my sandwich seemed to be grilled, not toasted. Only one side of the bread was toasted and it was both very thin bread but also very limp and floppy. Maybe toasted on the menu meant grilled? The other tiny thing and again really nitpicking is my bacon. It was not warm...so it didn't have the best flavor profile it could bring to the sandwich. Now was this a bad sandwich? Not at all, it was a great sandwich which I gobbled and enjoyed. But those two touches have pushed this sandwich to even more stars before. Again I'm nitpicking this sandwich. The soup was great. I was getting another flavor and the photo made me change. It was fantastic ditto the grape salad, cookie, great pickle. Highly recommend...

Perfectly seasoned, packed with flavor, and cooked exceptionally well. Every bite reminded me why this place has such a strong reputation. Couldn't tell if it was baked or grilled, I'm leaning towards baked. A special shoutout to Unitas for the excellent customer service. Friendly, welcoming, and attentive throughout our visit. The sides were a mixed bag. The mac and cheese looked better than it tasted, and the cabbage reminded me of the filling in a Chinese egg roll. But those collard greens? Outstanding. Tender without being mushy, full of flavor, and didn't need a drop of hot sauce. The chicken and greens alone are enough to bring me back. If you've been thinking about trying Jerk Shack, don't wait as long as I did.

I'm guessing once the initial rush dies down, the experience might feel a bit more relaxed. When I first walked in, there was a slight unpleasant smell, kind of like body odor, which wasn't the best first impression. That said, the staff was very friendly and attentive. Even though I ordered through the kiosk (which was easy and straightforward to use), employees still checked in to see if I needed anything. After placing my order, it took about 10-15 minutes to get my food, which felt reasonable considering how crowded it was. I decided to sit outside since it was a nice day, and they do have both indoor and outdoor seating options. As for the food--portions are definitely generous. I ordered two sliders (mild spice level) and a salad. The sliders had thick pieces of chicken, and while they were filling, the chicken itself was a bit too thick for my liking and didn't have much flavor beyond the spicy seasoning on the outside. On the positive side, the sauce on the sliders was really good. The salad was also a standout--I genuinely enjoyed it. The fries were another highlight: fresh, crispy, and paired well with the sauce. Overall, this visit felt a bit hit-or-miss, possibly because of how busy things were. I'm willing to give it another try down the line to see if the experience improves once things settle. If you're curious, it's worth checking out for yourself.

THE LOCATION: on the very end of a string of businesses in a strip mall that I've never been in before, so that was cool. Lots of parking, that'll never be an issue. And right off the 410. THE MENU: Burgers, dogs, Mexi-style munchies and a variety of frozen dessert-type items like shakes, frozen fruit concoctions and Italian ice. THE STAFF: I wasn't overwhelmed with a warm welcome and smiles, at least from the guys. Lol! They should really work on that. There was a sweet gal who ran out our food orders and she was great. THE FOOD: I ordered the grilled chicken sandwich deluxe with tots and a sweet tea. The grilled chicken was juicy and cooked well and the bun was lovely, slightly sweet and toasted. Overall, the sandwich could've used more flavor, like a creamy bbq spread and cheddar instead of the "Swiss" cheese that tasted more like American cheese. But overall, 7/10. The tots were extra crispy and the guy who took my order didn't take heed to my request for ranch. I was too lazy to get up again so I settled for ketchup. The sweet tea was nicely sweet and fresh, I'll be sipping this in my dreams. The hubby ordered the bacon cheeseburger with chili cheese fries and an Oreo cookie shake. The burger looked good and he ate it quick, so there's that. This guy can EAT so it surprised us both when he slowed down fast after eating that burger. Lol! He kept saying how filling it was, but then he also killed a large shake before the food arrived, so there's that. He ate most of his chili cheese fries, leaving me a few bites to sample. Not bad. I order a Coco Haven frozen dessert to go and omg is this thing delightful! Vanilla ice cream and coconut Italian ice (?) with a blue snow cone-like syrup drizzled throughout. I loved the texture of what I believed to be Italian ice. Smooth and flaky, a perfect icy dessert. OVERALL: decent eatery, the hubby said we can go back (LOL!) Shockerrrrr! But I recommend the staff tries harder to make customers feel welcomed and comfortable. The next visit will be telling.
