I like this shop and come here often. The drinks are good and most of the employees are friendly and dressed appropriately. However, I have noticed that one staff member consistently wears revealing tops, which stands out, especially since this is a place where families and kids come in. It feels unprofessional compared to the rest of the team. The grass jelly as a nice flavor and their green tea is strong and refreshing. Didn't care for the taro slush, it didn't have sweetness at all, but my husband liked it. We ordered all our normal foods, we chose mild spice, but everything was well over seasoned as well as finding a good chunk of chicken bone in our rubber popcorn chicken today. Just stopped by to grab boba tea for my kids, and the girl at the counter told me, "Sorry, it just hit 9 PM and I can't take your order." What makes it worse is that there were two girls in front of me placing their order, and she still refused to take mine -- even though I was literally next in line. It was 9:01 PM as I'm writing this review. I completely respect closing times, but turning away a paying customer right at the dot, with no courtesy or professionalism, is disappointing. No "we're closing soon," no attempt to accommodate -- just a flat refusal. If I were the owner, I'd seriously reconsider who is representing my business. Best boba shop in the area! The franchise has a decent variety of flavors and bases for teas. Their boba is always chewy and fresh as well. They also give you a decent amount of boba compared to other boba shops. Although they only have a couple of tables, their interior is super cute and spacious. We went here late afternoon on a Saturday and there was no line. I ordered the Lychee Strawberry Milk Tea which is a seasonal item on their menu and the Condensed Milk Coffee Latte. There is a beautiful flower wall upon walking in that's great for snapping pictures with friends and family or a photo of your drink. The inside is very spacious and open with a nice and clean layout. There are about 4 tables inside to sit and enjoy your drinks at but we opted for taking ours to go. I write this with mixed emotions... my son wanted boba. Instead of going local, we went the distance to Ding Tea. The shop is new, open, and clean as expected. They have a floral wall and a few tables and chairs for those who wanna sit, chew, pose, and chat. My son chose the passionfruit juice with coconut jelly with ice, and it was perfect! I chose the taro slush with golden boba. I noticed on my first taste that it had a weak flavor (minus 2 stars). Golden boba was perfect... but once that all went down, the taro slush became meh. Ding Dong!!! The city of Murrieta had Ding Tea knocking on their door this afternoon at the soft opening! As most of you know, if there is a new boba joint, I will eventually find it...so here I am!! Boba here is usually on point. I've been to their other locations in Mira Mesa, Escondido and somewhere in Orange County. It wasn't any different here. Perfectly cooked just the way I like it. I arrived around 1:20pm, and there was a line already wrapped around the building. Wasn't too bad and it was at least in the shade, haha! Placed my order for 4 drinks at 1:47 and didn't get them until 2:18, so yeahhhh, beware and have time if you go. Line slowed down a bit after that. On this visit, I got 4 drinks: -Large Lychee Milk Tea, slight ice with golden boba -Regular Hokkaido Oolong Milk Tea, slight ice with golden boba -Regular Strawberry Milk Tea, slight ice with golden boba -Regular Wintermelon Milk Tea, slight ice All the drinks are pretty consistent as far as flavor. My lychee milk tea tasted fine, nothing out of the ordinary. The boba is never soggy or undercooked. Their standard boba is a golden color, and slightly smaller than the typical brown sugar one you're probably used to. The one gripe I did have: I asked for "slight ice" for all 4 drinks and there wasn't ANY ice in them. I've asked for slight ice at other boba shops and they accommodate my request, no problem. Oh, and my name somehow became "George" but I guess that's what happens when you wear a mask (which btw, they DO require while inside). Hopefully this is something they just overlooked due to them being super busy, so I'll give 'em a pass this time around. There are a few tables inside for you to hang out while you wait for your drinks. Don't forget the photo opp wall, people were sitting on the bench in front of it so I just took selfies from afar, lol. Service was just a tad slow, but of course it's their soft opening so give them some time to work out kinks. The girls working were all nice and very patient. Looked as if they had 4 people making the drinks, maybe one or two more would speed up the process. Prices are average for a boba spot with the usual costs for add ins like pudding, jelly, etc. Place is clean, so help them keep it that way! Also, I didn't see a restroom, but it could be the door tucked in the back corner (it didn't have the sign, so maybe they forgot to put it up). Another boba shop in the books for the I.E. with ample parking right outside. A few more up and coming shops in the same plaza near Aldi, and the newest So Cal Tacos & Beer is within walking distance right across the parking lot. Go on and get your Boba on!! read more
