I get the one from the location in Costa Mesa quite a bit...really good. One of my favorite oolong milk teas. The issue, as you can see the ice level (slight 30%) I requested, they severely over filled to about (75%). Please have a revision to your practices. Despite the above, if you want really good tea, definitely give them a try. They just need to get better at fulfilling requests if they make them available for customers. I stopped by this fun boba spot right along RSM Lake and the location alone makes it worth a visit. It's such a nice place to grab a drink and enjoy a walk with a great view. I ordered a strawberry caffeine free drink with strawberry popping boba and it was light, refreshing, and not overly sweet. The lavender milk tea with monster boba had a smooth floral flavor and the boba was soft and chewy. Ding Tea RSM is modern, clean, and stylish. I ordered one phoenix oolong milktea, oolong tea, assam black tea, strawberry Yakult slush, lychee Yakult slush. Kids like the strawberry slush better than lychee. Overall tea is flavorful, should order with less ice. Good vibe and environment you are around this area to shop. Ordered two Thai iced teas and was given one Thai iced tea and one Thai milk tea... They ran out of the Thai iced tea and just substituted it with Thai milk tea like it didn't matter. When I called it out and said that it didn't taste right the one girl knowing that it was milk tea instead of Thai iced tea said "what does it taste like then." Instead of apologizing, she went and got the other girl working, who made the drink and told me it's "basically the same" and that I wouldn't be able to tell the difference. That response was incredibly dismissive and honestly insulting--customers know what they ordered. To make matters worse, they said they weren't authorized to give a refund. So they knowingly gave me the wrong order, without asking if I was okay with it being substituted, and then refused to fix it. This isn't about a simple mistake--mistakes happen. It's about the lack of transparency, accountability, and basic customer service. If you're out of an ingredient, you ask the customer. You don't just decide for them and then refuse to make it right. Definitely won't be coming back. read more

This is my favorite boba spot in my area. The boba is always warm, sweet and they have options of different boba flavors including honey boba. My go-to's are Taro Milk Boba tea with half monster boba (traditional) with half honey boba which is 5/5 on the flavor scale. Their boba drinks come with the option of non-dairy creamer which tastes better than milk/alternative milks IMO. I will also occasionally get the Thai tea which is authentic, strong (caffeine) and sweet with the monster/honey boba combo, it's also 5/5. The staff is always nice and they are fast at making the drinks. There is seating areas so it makes a good study/hangout spot for anyone. Not really sure what was happening today but the employee kept walking to the back of the store to do something. He worked on our drinks for a minute, stopped, and then walked to the back room again for another 5 minutes. It took almost 30 minutes to get 2 drinks. The tea here is good, i usually get the Lychee green tea with popping boba. All drinks here are great! You can ether order on a large touch screen or order with an employee. The employees are kind. It usually takes probably 3-5 minutes to receive your order. The place is really clean and there are tables and chairs if you just wanna chill. I love Ding tea and I'm so glad this one is close to my work! The quality of the boba is phenomenal and the teas are delicious! I usually get the monster boba which is my favorite but I was feeling more in the mood for coffee so I got the Hokkaido coffee latte and it was amazing! This location is in a plaza on the lake and there is plenty of parking (although at peak times the popularity of the various restaurants and the Ralphs shoppers might make it more tough to find a close spot). I found myself here while running errands one weekday morning. It was a blazing hot day already and a cold drink sounded wonderful. I spotted this place but it was only 10:45am and I knew Ding locations don't open until 11....but this one opens at 10! Yay! The interior feels spacious and was glistening in cleanliness. There are several comfy indoor tables if you are in the mood to relax. The young woman who helped me was very friendly. I ordered my usual - a Hokkaido oolong milk tea with boba. I was impressed that she asked me what sweetness level I wanted (always 100% for me) which told me they place importance in customer satisfaction here. My milk tea was perfect in every way. Even the boba was freshly squishy. I returned to my car, sipping (and chewing) away and feeling happy as I drove off to continue on with my errands. read more

It's was food little shop right by the RSM lake. Perfect location for a nice refreshing tea while taking a nice walk around the beautiful lake! The front staff was very nice and welcoming. They were very patient with me. I couldn't decide on what to get lol. So I finally went with the Caramel Coffee Latte. It was really good, I asked for little ice so it was perfect for our lake walk. I ordered their blueberry black tea with lychee jelly, 50% sugar, no ice. Perfect amount of sweetness with a strong blueberry taste. They also had sampler at the front of the store, where I had tried green apple tea, watermelon tea, and another kind of tea. I absolutely love their fruit teas! After ordering your drink, I recommend checking out the nearby lake, Lake Lago! Gorgeous lake with some Christmas decor up right now. They just opened a couple weeks ago and the place is so refreshing. I was able to meet the owner, Darren, since I arrived when they opened at 10:00 and they were all still setting up. Both he and the staff were so friendly telling me what their favorite teas were. There's also a Top 10 list of the guest favorites. I always get lychee black tea so I wanted to try something else. Both the owner and the workers said they liked the honey milk green tea with golden boba and it was also in the customer top 10 so I ordered it along with my trusted lychee tea. I was not disappointed. The honey milk green tea was the perfect blend of just enough sweetness with a lot of flavor. You could also tell the boba were really fresh since they were cushiony soft with some give. The lychee black tea was as good as always. The interior of the store is bright, clean and fresh. You feel very welcomed there and I could see wanting to hang out with friends. I'll definitely be back and hopefully be able to spend more time there. read more

My friends and I have placed a couple complicated customized Boba tea options which we expected they might mix up a bit but much to our surprise, none of our orders have ever been wrong, forgotten or mixed up!! We visited on a Sunday afternoon and for a well-known boba chain, it wasn't too crowded. Judging from the number of reviews, it's a fairly new location. Plenty of parking in the shopping center is a huge plus. This Ding Tea offers a LOT of menu items compared to other boba shops (and even other Ding Teas), and our group of 6 all ordered something different. However - and this is where the average rating comes from - everything was much too sweet. Even the drink ordered with half sweetness! And yes, I'm sure the staff is happy to re-make drinks if you're absolutely unhappy...but I think across the board their drinks are a bit too sugary for my personal liking. read more

When we went, they were out of Thai and taro tea. I got the brown sugar milk tea (50% sugar, 50% ice)-$4.00. The brown sugar milk tea was a little watery, lacking roasted brown sugar flavor, sweetness level was good.
