They always have a variety of fun creative donuts for ordering. They are on it and wait times are never long even with a line out the door. But their donuts are consistently delicious. We came to RSM and tried KD's Donuts. Mi wife and I ordered three items (two were donuts) and a cup of coffee for just over ten dollar, which is the minimum cost to use a credit card. They were out of chocolate twists but had plenty of everything else. The chocolate bar that I had was the least flavorful (but soft and fluffy) donut that I've had in many years. The icing was very thin and the donut even tasted a bit oily. The chocolate flavor tasted strangely sour as well. I try different donut places maybe once per month but I won't be back to KD's. If you want a donut that reminds you of the 1980s or 1990s head to the 5 and La Paz and you'll be in paradise. read more

They offer a variety of caked, glazed, bars and twists, filled, old fashion, croissants, danishes, apple fritters as well as some savory breakfast croissants. The shop is small and they only allow 3 people in and adhere to COV-19 protocols. The staff wore masks and gloves. Apple Fritter ($2) - Apple fritter is my all time favorite donut. However this donut was extremely oily and mediocore at best. Old Fashion ($1.10) - Chocolate icing old fashion donuts are another type of donut that I really like and this was a huge let down. The donuts didn't seem all that fresh unfortunately. Caked Donuts ($1) - This donut fared better than the other items I tried here in terms of taste and freshness. Almond Croissant ($2.25) - The almond croissant here is reasonably priced but isn't as buttery and flaky as other places unfortunately. There is an ok amount of almond filling inside. Overall, I thought the donuts were just OK. Pricing is reasonable. I remember trying this place a few years ago and being really impressed. Went in today to get a very specific donut, one from my childhood that I haven't been successful at finding. It's the chocolate bar with whipped cream filling (loved this as a child and I loved it today). Went in and realized they didn't have anymore of the chocolate bars with whipped cream filling just a couple hours before closing. I found this place because some people were eating it during their walk around the lake in the morning. Upon arriving i quickly noticed the sign that limited to 3 customers inside. The donuts looked very tasty and fresh. Customer service was good, friendly. I ordered the maple bar, glazed twist, donut filled with cream, and their egg/bacon bun. I highly recommend the buns. They were able to cater (Instagramable) donuts for my son's 1st birthday and they added extras to the order!
