    Happy birthday donuts
    Karina C.

They made the cutest happy birthday donuts for my daughter! They were a big hit for the party.

We love this shop, The lady who does the design, is very talented. I handed her a napkin and she designed my donuts based on the napkin colors to match the theme. She made a design for Karate once for our kids birth day party. Highly highly recommend this place. The price is very very reasonable. Donuts made fresh and fluffy not oily.

A donut only an amateur could enjoy.

Absolute worst. If you like donuts that have literally no frosting or sprinkles, this place is for you! Ordered six donuts (basic sprinkles and two chocolate bars, nothing fancy) for $14.25, a joke in itself, and the pictures will tell the story of the quality. How is this place still in business? Go to Scott's Donuts or Donut Parlor instead.

    Yummy sprinkle donut!

Best donut place in town! Great prices, yummy and fresh donuts, and super friendly staff! It's a family owned and the owners are always so nice especially when I come in with my toddler son, they always interact with him. Just really nice folks! I love that they custom orders as well I got some Star Wars custom order donuts they looked incredible and they taste amazing! Whenever I'm craving a doughnut we come by here. We come here a lot LOL but you can't beat the price and it's next to the lake so you can have your doughnut with a great view ! Don't go anywhere else!!

    cronut and medium coffee

Been going to KDs since i was a kid. Great OG design, exactly what you want in a donut store. Back counter is clean and neat. Line out the door always goes in minutes because of the fast staff. I had the cronut this time and it was the best i've ever had.

Some of the donuts I got from KDs for an Eid celebration (apple fritter, almond croissant, old fashion, and sprinkle donuts pictured)

I had stopped by KD's Donuts a little before 6am in the morning to pick up a variety of donuts for a celebration. They offer a variety of caked, glazed, bars and twists, filled, old fashion, croissants, danishes, apple fritters as well as some savory breakfast croissants. The shop is small and they only allow 3 people in and adhere to COV-19 protocols. The staff wore masks and gloves. Apple Fritter ($2) - Apple fritter is my all time favorite donut. However this donut was extremely oily and mediocore at best. Old Fashion ($1.10) - Chocolate icing old fashion donuts are another type of donut that I really like and this was a huge let down. The donuts didn't seem all that fresh unfortunately. Caked Donuts ($1) - This donut fared better than the other items I tried here in terms of taste and freshness. Almond Croissant ($2.25) - The almond croissant here is reasonably priced but isn't as buttery and flaky as other places unfortunately. There is an ok amount of almond filling inside. Overall, I thought the donuts were just OK. Pricing is reasonable. I remember trying this place a few years ago and being really impressed. I don't know why the quality and freshness of the donuts here have gone down.

Special order packing them in there for me. Apple fritter ftw!

I have tried Hanna's several times now and love their food, so my expectations for this place was already high before coming here. Safe to say, Haute met many of those expectations! I initially tried their Turkey Pesto sandwich with chips and got a side of sweet potato fries and the strawberry glow smoothie. It was pretty packed when we went on a random Tuesday, so we had to scour for just a table to sit at. A number of the tables were left dirty, so we ended up sitting down and cleaning out own table of crumbs and moving the trash/plates onto another dirty table. Our food came out pretty quickly, and I was surprised by the portions. Here is a break down: Turkey Pesto: I asked for no onions and no tomatoes and it came out perfectly. The bread was light and crispy and the flavors came together so well. Since my first visit, I have already come in several times to get this sandwich again. I would say it is on the pricier side, though. I have came back to try it with waffle fries and the upcharge to switch is $4, which I think is honestly too much for like 10 fries. Strawberry Glow Smoothie: I did like this smoothie, but $15 for a smoothie is also a bit wild. I already think $8-9 for a small smoothie is not worth it, but since it is a Erewohn dupe, I just gave it a try. Nothing too crazy special, and wouldn't get it again despite everyone else walking out with one of these. Sweet Potato Fries: I came the first time and got these and remembered them being so good and very well seasoned. I came back to try it again, and it did not taste the same. Barely any seasoning, and not even salted at all. I probably would prefer the waffle fries over these now. Overall, service at the counter was great, but there really should be more people helping out in the patio or dining area so there are enough tables for customers to eat at. I barely found a table before my food came out. I would like to return to try some more drinks and maybe other food items. If you are going to come here, just expect to spend at least $30 for your meal!

The decor is cozy and thoughtfully done, and it feels like a place designed for a relaxed dessert-and-coffee moment. The staff is where this place shines. Everyone I interacted with was warm, patient, and genuinely kind. They're knowledgeable about their menu and very open to making custom drinks, which is always appreciated. That said, my experience fell short when it came to execution. I ordered a chocolate mocha, and while they were happy to make it, the result tasted more like watered-down coffee with syrup than a rich, well-balanced mocha. At nearly $9, I was expecting something more indulgent and cohesive. My advice: Chocolate Bliss seems best enjoyed when you stick to their signature or most popular menu items. The atmosphere and service are there -- with more consistency on custom drinks, this could easily become a go-to spot.

We ended up finding an excellent one in Chocolate Bliss. Service here is top notch. We asked for help since it was our first time and were walked through the history of the shop, the source of the chocolates, and the drink menu. We ended up ordering an almond roca latte and a blue matcha (which I believe is really a butterfly tea latte...?). Both drinks were excellent. I really liked the blue matcha - much lighter taste than green matcha. Not too sweet either. Actually, everything I've tasted so far from this shop hasn't been overly sweet, which is great! There is also a tray of free samples of chocolate, which helped inform our decision to buy a slab of salted caramel pecan and 9 individual pieces of chocolate. The slabs they sell by weight and the individual chocolate they sell by box size. We haven't tried them all yet, but so far, really good! We've had the oreo truffle and the pistachio and the saffron pieces. They've also got quite a bit of other items in the shop too!

The color looked great, and I was expecting a rich flavor of chai, but it ended up tasting very watery. Honestly speaking, it was more like hot water rather than a tea. I've heard all the buzz about this place and I have had it bookmarked since owner and chef Kian Moltaji first opened. I am happy to say that I finally had a chance to go. I am literally kicking myself for not having gone sooner because of ALL the bakeries I have been to...I can honestly say that this is by far my absolute favorite. They are open Wednesday through Sunday only so keep that in mind. Chef Kian, offers French pastries that will have you wanting more with the very first bite. The bakery not only smells amazing but it's clean inside and decorated with some pretty live plants. I mean, the bakery made me smile just walking in. Don't know. There are several small tables that line two side walls, just perfect for some coffee and chill with a friend. What I ordered. 1) almond & raspberry danish 5/5 - OMG. I love almond desserts and pastries but I am always so hesitant to take the first bite because they're usually crazy sweet. Not this. This was crispy, flaky, moist, tasty and perfectly sweetened. 2) caramelized almond croissant 5/5 - another super good almond pastry. You'd think being that it is caramelized that this would be cavity inducing but it is far from that. Just the right sweetness. 3) guava cheese 5/5 - really good. What I liked was the soft sweetness of the cheese which usually overpowers cheese pasties everywhere else. 4) chocolate croissant - I didn't get to try this. The kids devoured it so quickly I didn't even have a chance. They did enjoy it very much and had to split the two between them since it's a fairly large pastry. They asked for me to buy more of it, so I'm guessing it must've been a 5/5 for them too. 5) pistachio raspberry croissant 5/5 - this is amazing. No wonder they run out of this all the time. 6) caramelized pistachio raspberry 5/5 - similar to the croissant. This is also very delicious. This one also ran out the first time I went. 7) Nutella 5/5 - I honestly cannot remember the name of this pastry other than it has Nutella in it. This was a huge hit with the kids. The kids are already bugging about going as soon as they open again to which I will happily oblige. I need to snag me some of the pistachio pastries next time. I hear those are amazing. So happy to have them so close to home.
