We came here the other day. The door closest to this shop was locked. I must've stood there about five minutes watching two gals in the back one was working one was not. Neither of them came out to help until I finally hollered for them. Once I got somebody's attention, they were quick to let me know. I could just order myself from the kiosk. The issue is I had something specific I needed to ask them so I couldn't. When I let them know, their door was locked they didn't seem to care... Didn't seem to open it. In my opinion, the one gal who didn't help at all and told me to use the kiosk does not want to work there When my daughter got her smoothie, she said it tasted different than usual. This spot is connected to Poki Tiki and has a variety of drinks on the menu. Since it's called Matcha, I figured that was their specialty and what they are known for. I ended up ordering the matcha with a cream top and my boyfriend got the mango smoothie. Here is our review of both: Mango Smoothie: this was just the typical tasting smoothie. Nothing too special or fresh tasting about it. It is just the normal juice/syrup based smoothie. Matcha: the sugar was sitting at the bottom of the cup and the matcha tasted bland overall. It was more milky than anything. I could not really taste the cream top, as it was so thin that it kind of mixed throughout my drink before I could try it. Overall, we came here to try the poki but just wanted to get drinks from here to try as well. My sister ordered a matcha latte and the gradient was well made! There is still a noticeable difference in the quality and flavor of the matcha latte with Okayama Kobo Bakery and Cafe. However, my sister and I really appreciated the indoor seating that the combined matcha station and poke restaurant offered. There's a good amount of seating inside in addition to outlets. Absolutely unacceptable! If I could give this place ZERO stars, I would. Our first visit here will definitely be our last. My son ordered a smoothie with his own money, and when it arrived, the lid wasn't on properly, causing it to spill all over the table. I asked if they could make another drink for him since it was clearly their mistake. However, the young employee who wiped the mess insisted that he had closed the drink, so no replacement could be made. This was literally just one minute after we received it! I requested to speak to the manager, but another employee claimed they couldn't replace the drink after consulting a manager who was apparently hiding in the kitchen. We regularly frequent another location but were very disappointed about our service at this location. Our order of a Pitaya Frappe appeared to have been forgotten and when we checked in on it we were told they did not have the item even thought it was on the menu. It took over 20 minutes to get the drink and I feel that they should have mentioned it would have taken that long to receive a single boba drink. There are too many good boba options around here to deal with poor customer service and long wait times that are not mentioned when the item is ordered. read more

Its around the corner, which is super convenient; its co-located with the poke place (which has great poke bowls w/ gluten-free options) so I can simultaneously grab lunch/dinner; and, the milk teas are reasonably priced and very good. Previously, I ordered the Taro Milk Tea, but tonight I tried the Thai Milk Tea with Boba and it was delicious. It tasted really authentic and the boba was just the right amount of chewy and sweet. They also have Frappes and I will definitely be trying the Pitaya one on my next visit. The staff are friendly and personable and the decor is modern. Wanted to try this place and the guy was very unfriendly when I walked in. Instead of greeting me like asking hi how are you; he was like what do you want in a very monotonous tone/no eye contact. I would definitely say I felt unwelcomed here. I probably won't be back because of the rude worker. They were also talking in the back about their own problems and you can hear them from the lobby chatting. If you don't like your job, then not sure why you have to make others feel that too.
