It was ok, Nothing too wow and the 50percent was still a lot of sugar. I felt my tongue get coated with sugar. I got a watermelon with some rainbow jelly. I also asked for a drink holder. I don't think she understood me or I did pay for one and didnt get one. I just think we both didnt understand. The place was pretty empty. Nice facility clean and lots of space. Supposed it wasn't busy. Maybe it was due to the 4th. Either way it was ok. Its been. Few hours since I visited, but im still confused on that interaction. Was a little odd experience. Could be from me.

Lychee Yakult/Yogurt (Creamy Yakult) and Green Tea Yakult/Yogurt (Creamy Yakult)

I thought the Yakult/yogurt drinks were unique, and my friend I came with really likes the green tea Yakult drink. I opted for the lychee, which unfortunately tasted very artificially sweet. They can't adjust the sweetness level of their Yakult drinks, so I guess that's just the flavour of the lychee drink. I am normally a very big fan of lychee, so it was a bit disappointing. The golden boba is a sweet tapioca with brown sugar, which I like a lot more than regular tapioca, but some boba shops just use it as their regular tapioca, and to me those were a lot more flavourful than this one. The smaller drink size was $6, and the design of the cup looks like a business card. The space is very large for a boba shop with plenty of tables that look nice for studying or working.

Cute little place to hang out. They have board game and food as well. I used to like their boba a lot more, I think my taste slightly changed. Their milk tea has a less strong tea flavor than I would like but their boba has a nice texture. The workers are always very nice and let you take your time even if they're busy. And the shop has a lot of natural lighting.

The signature milk tea is very bland (tastes like bitter water). Also the service was horrible it took 15 minutes just for one drink and it wasn't even busy. I would not come here again!

Stopped for some quick boba, the service and ambience is great but as a new-ish spot they could still perfect the flavors. Ordered the brown sugar and matcha milk tea. The size of the regular is too small in my opinion compared to the other boba spots nearby, however they had constant ebb and flow of customers so they do have regulars. I'd come back and give this spot another try just because they had clean restrooms, fast service and a chart for varying sugar/ice level which was convenient when ordering.

I've enjoyed this Ding Tea ever since they opened in Sugar Land. Conveniently located off of Highway 6, I've frequented this location pretty regularly. I especially love coming on what I call "Ding Tea Mondays", a promotion that's been going on for a while where you get a free upgrade on your drink. My favorite drink has been the coffee milk tea with coffee jelly (additional topping). I love the wide open space inside, but it does get a bit loud inside depending on who's there. Will definitely continue coming back when I'm craving tea.

    Peach green tea "less ice"

I ordered a peach green tea, split cup with less ice....idk about yall but the entire cup was basically ice.. Let me clarify: First of all, this was a Togo order so I was not present during pick up to "let staff know" Secondly, it did not come to my attention there was this much ice in the drink until I drank the drink Thirdly, I never stated that the amount of drink I received in the cup was the issue. The main issue is that I ordered less ice and did not receive less ice as you can see in the picture. Lastly, I am extremely disappointed in how management attempted to resolve this issue as displacing it as consumer fault.

One of my favorite places to get boba in Sugar Land. Their boba balls are consistent, chewy and soft. The interior is clean and bright. Perfect for a place to study/work or hang out with friends. The only downside is service may be a little slow. I believe that they're under staffed. Today there was only one employee taking orders and making drinks.

Guava Green Milk Tea with Boba (large)

I have very high expectations for boba shops and y'all, this one specific drink at Ding Tea blew me out of the water. I've been to Ding Tea plenty of times and usually get their milk tea or tarp milk tea with boba, both equally delicious but nothing over the top special. This time though, I decided to go with the Guava Green Milk Tea and it was absolutely incredible. With 25% sugar, you could taste the guava and the tea and the combination with each sip of boba was perfect. I've never really seen guava on other boba places' menu, so this was definitely a pleasant surprise. I ordered this drink 3 weeks ago and it's taken a lot of self control to not keep going daily for more. HIGHLY recommend the guava green milk tea with boba.

Ding Tea Sugar Land offered me a place to relax and enjoy deliciousness.

I never thought Ding Tea attracted me from Houston Chinatown to Sugar Land. I was here to redeem my BobaFANatic - a fundraising event for OCA Greater Houston. I didn't care for the Taro Mash Boba Tea offered on the voucher. I really thought it should be taro cubes as the sizes of boba. Since I was not rushed to order, I ordered fried fish ball on the side. I enjoyed my food and view by the window. The huge dining room is a big plus compared with the original restaurant at Dynasty Plaza on Bellaire Blvd. It was a busy Saturday afternoon as most of tables were occupied based on Covid-19 protocol. Sugar Land is not my usual place to visit. But Ding Tea wins my desire for drinks when I return for my grocery shopping at H-E-B next door.

Mango Yakult/Yogurt (Creamy Yakult) and Jasmine Green Milk Tea
    Judy S.

I went to Ding Tea since it's close to my home. My favorite drink is the Yakut series especially the Mango or Peach flavors. There's a clear plastic screen at the counter (from Covid season?) so it makes it hard to hear when we are ordering. I find myself repeating my order several times to the server. They have tables & chairs for you to hang out but it does not feel super cozy. The machines that they use to make drinks are pretty noisy and so hard to have good conversation with friends.

Clean and quiet boba place. Service is fast. Drinks are pretty ok but there isn't a drink that stands out for me.

Love their drinks. I got hot jasmine milk tea, Hokkaido Oolong milk tea, and avocado coffee. Avocado coffee is the bomb. First time had it, thought it was a weird combination, but wow it was better than just the avocado smoothie itself! My husband had my hokkaido and jasmine less sweet less ice. It was the perfect amount of sweet. I would come back to try their other drinks

My friend ordered the Korean Viennese coffee as recommended by the employee. They also had a pastry case which I got the oreo & Nutella cookie & Biscoff white chocolate cookie which they warmed up for you. The food was good and the Takoyaki was my favorite. My friend really liked her coffee & truffle fries. My kids enjoyed their strawberry slushy but not the boba topping as much. My rose lychee drink had lychee bits which I liked but I couldn't taste the sparkling carbonation as strong as I would have preferred. We did play some of the gashapon machines which had cute pop culture toys like Sanrio, Toy Story, one piece & paw patrol. Overall, we had a good time hanging out and the food was satisfying. There isn't as much to do here as the other location where there is/was games & things to read as well as snacks. This location seemed clean & looks decent. This location is also close to some fun Asian hangs & grocery stores. However, I didn't enjoy the back & forth involved in having to get my drink order correctly. When placing the order, I asked for a frozen slushy/snow type drink & so did my daughter. Walking away, I noticed a price difference on the screen (the lady refused to give a receipt when we asked - and no one was getting a receipt which I thought was weird). When we got our order, we got different drinks. My daughter got the texture I wanted & I got an iced drink. It's fine I thought, communication issue I'm sure. But the lady at the counter argued with me as I explained that I wanted what my daughter had, that was what I tried to explain earlier (an issue that perhaps would've been prevented if I had a receipt). Eventually she agreed to make me a new drink & I apologized while thanking her profusely - but as I walked away, the two younger women in the back kept looking up & laughing very loudly. Just seriously mean behavior. I don't think I'll be returning. The drink sizes, large selection, pricing & location is more my style at Teapioca anyways.

I got a mango green tea, no sugar, and brought back plenty of memories as to why I enjoyed it. However, where this place fell flat was the atmosphere. Let me caveat- if you like to study in complete silence, you might enjoy this place. Yes, I came during a weekday, but it's one thing to have the place silent because there's no one here, it's another to have a room at least half full and have it be deadly silent. I was afraid to talk because it was so quiet here. There wasn't even any background music to give it some background noise. The ice maker was the loudest thing in here. Also, I'm super annoyed because the internet sucks. I feel like I'm back in the dial up era where trying to open up a webpage or email takes multiple tries and I'm reading pages of a book in between while waiting for it to load. Even social media wasn't loading. Good ploy if you want people to be off their phones and talking to each other- too bad this place was so quiet today that I wouldn't feel comfortable doing that either. Overall, the drinks themselves are fine, no issues with that, but it could be a bit more lively.

One of my favorite things was how fragrant the space smelled while I waited for my boba. You could tell there was an exceptional tea aroma lingering despite all the cream and sweetness. The place was exceptionally clean for being so busy, and the workers consistently cleaned as they made the drinks, so you knew you could trust the sanitation here. Drink Design - I have to make a separate comment on how CUTE these drinks were. I loved the intentional sticker placement over the lips and the little carrying handle. You could tell they went the extra mile to make these drinks not just flavorful, but an experience in and of themselves. Even their receipt paper felt luxurious. That sounds ridiculous to point out, but the thought behind every aspect of this place is impeccable. High Mountain Pouchong Tea w. Lemon Juice & Mousse (Creamy Lemon Tart) - After all the sugar I had today, this lemony drink hit the spot with its perfect tartness. The cream had bits of lemon zest in it, adding to the aroma. I tried to adjust the sweetness when I ordered and was told it had a built-in sweetness, but if I found it too sweet, they would happily switch it out for another drink. I felt like I was dealing with Amazon's generous return policy--and luckily, the drink was perfect, so no return was needed! Creamy Mango Tart - Literally like the Lemon Tart, but mango. I loved this just as much and really enjoyed the refreshing flavors of BOTH tarts. Instantly a fan favorite. Dong Ding Oolong Tea w. Fresh Milk - Very mild and creamy, almost like a mellow latte. Not my favorite because it was a bit too creamy after everything else I had today. Still, I loved the tea profile and can absolutely see why others would love it. Overall, I love, love, LOVE this place. 1000/10. From the experience to the quality and intentionality behind every little detail, I couldn't be happier with my visit. I never thought I'd ever say that a drink was so Instagram-worthy, but these drinks were beautiful--like models of the boba world. Would go back in a heartbeat.
