While waiting for my food, I saw the cook finish my order and place it on the counter. The waitress noticed it, picked up her phone, started texting, and then walked outside to take a phone call, leaving my food sitting there. Another waitress eventually noticed and brought it to me. I was surprised by this, as I would expect customer service to take priority over personal phone calls. I've never experienced this before, and it was disappointing. If it wasn't about all the good stuff that I've heard about the food here I wouldn't come in, the service is disappointing. The girls here look like they literally came off of the street and needed a job. No phone etiquette when you call. We pull up and it is connected to a gas station You would not think that this place would have some of the best Mexican food ever but it does. Do not be afraid to walk into this place, Yes from the outside it looks like a hole in a wall and it kind of is however when you walk in the place is nice, very clean, and you are greeted by a smiling face. We sat down at a booth my wife had the shrimp ceviche tostada and you could basically make three tostadas from one order of ceviche that's how big it was. I tasted her ceviche and oh my god it was so amazing and a flavorful. We both loved it. I ordered a burrito called El Perro... This burrito is one of the best burritos I've ever tasted in my life. It had a chile relleno in it, with grilled cheese and carne asada. Now this was not any ordinary carne asada It tasted like it came off a grill not a flat top. The Carne asada had a subtle smokey flavor and was very tasty. Some of the best carne asada I've tasted. The food was so good that the next day which is today Sunday We came for breakfast! My wife had the green chilaquiles with carne asada and I had the huevos rancheros both of these dishes were so delicious. And the beans I love freaking beans these beans were so so so good.. You can tell everything is made in house.. I asked our waitress when they opened and she said about a year ago. This place is legit. If you want some of the best Mexican food come down to this place. The server's demeanor was unfriendly and unprofessional, necessitating repetition of my order due to her use of earbuds and untied shoes!. Following order placement, she disappeared, and I had to locate her to settle my bill, as she had stepped outside. It is concerning that an employee would neglect customer attendance. Drinks came and order taken....and the wait started. Wait for our food took forever! At least an hour. Food was good. Portions were good. BUT orders were wrong. Food was decently priced but having to wait soo long with no chip/salsa refill, no drink refills made the wait even longer and more obvious. Music was super loud so it was hard to carry a conversation. Service was horrible. Church friends happen to show up at same time filling 2 more booths near us...who too were experiencing the same and displeased with how long it took to be served. Need less to say, all 12 adults from 3 different tables said they will not be returning. The food is just okay, nothing worth 5 stars. The portions are ridiculously SMALL. I thought they were children portions. The burritos are smaller than Del Taco and Del Taco sucks. The Sopes were not too bad, but just not understanding the high ratings, unless family and friends are doing it to lure customers in. The salsa was okay but not very hot.
