To start off with this place offers a wide variety to choose from, salads, pizza, strambolis as well as pasta. The service the last two times whe have beend there is outsanding. Both times it has been my experience the serves right out of the gate proived warm breadsticks and mariniara sauce. Mariniara sauce in my opinion is hard to find in good quality. However I must stay this was on the higher end of such sauce in the area, just not enough orengo in it for me thought. The bread sticks are better than Olive Garden. The ambiance is as expected for a Italian Restraunt but not overly done. One of the definate tries here is without a doubt Eggplant Parmiginaia, this alone is a reaons enought os stop in.

Came here on a Monday afternoon for lunch with my friend. There's not many options here in London for a non-franchise restaurant. So per my friend's recommendation, we came here. I had the Hawaiian stir fry and she had the canneloni. The dipping sauce for the breadsticks tasted like tomato sauce out of a can. Apparently the locals here know this and smother that sauce with pepper and Parmesan cheese. To me it still lacked flavor. My food was bland, missing a lot of seasoning. My friends food was overly cheesy, too much cheese, could barely get much meat from under it all. The service was great, but the food was sub par. My rating is strictly based on the food, it just needed something more, like seasoning.

The food was delicious. We loved it. He ordered a cheeseburger w fries & I ordered the souvlaki platter. Previously when we went for dinner there, we each got Bahama Mamas with alcohol to drink. He got a cheeseburger & fries I got Mamas Trio pasta platter. I included a picture of my dinner.

Just nasty- no atmosphere and the food was poor quality. I've seriously had better Italian food from a can.

Neat vibe with good decor. Staff are friendly and professional. Food is sub par and needs a lot more seasoning.

Our waiter was Parker and he was absolutely awesome and very attentive. When we were seated, Parker brought us 2 complimentary piping hot breadsticks with marinara sauce. We were pleased to hear that these were all-you-can-eat because they were very good! They have quite a few lunchtime specials and from 2:00-4:00 (weekdays) all sandwiches are half off. My wife ordered the lasagna and I ordered the House Calzone. The lasagna was a HUGE serving and very tasty. My House Calzone had ham, ground beef, pepperoni, sautéed mushrooms & onions, mozzarella & ricotta cheese. Oh my! How do I describe this deliciousness! Let's just say that after the first bite, I closed my eyes and enjoyed the flavors! The crust is light and fluffy and it had plenty of ingredients. It was big enough for 2 people to share, but (except for the bite that I gave my wife) I devoured the whole thing! Gondolier is what I would call a small chain restaurant. There are a few scattered around (even one in Sevierville, TN) but they are still small enough to always use top quality ingredients and keep their prices very affordable. There use to be one closer to me in Berea, KY, but unfortunately it closed. You may think this crazy to read, but Gondolier has one of the best cheeseburgers that I have ever had! Without a doubt, we will make the 45 minute drive one-way just to go eat at Gobdolier again and again. Located just off exit 41, its an easy stop off of the interstate if you are traveling through the area. These guys are doing it right! Don't miss it and be sure to ask for Parker to be your waiter.

Salads ( Caesar and Gorgonzola) were forgettable- neither of us finished. Enjoyable space. It was busy and lively without being overwhelming loud. Negative is parking. Not sure when they have extensive parking lots they make you choose between parking on side of narrow street or paying $10 for valet parking. Even on a busy night one parking lot was empty but blocked off with sign saying valet only.

Sometimes it's just a one-night stop, sometimes a few days, but we always take her out for a proper dinner. This trip, arriving from Chicago and following my chiropractor's enthusiastic recommendation, we chose Giuseppe's, and it turned out to be a very lovely evening. The space is warm and inviting, with plenty of wood, cozy lighting, and an impressive display of bourbons and wines that immediately sets a welcoming tone. We started with gnocchi and mozzarella alla milanese. The gnocchi were nicely al dente and the paired sauces complemented each other well. My husband and I shared the daily special, halibut with a light creamy caper sauce. The fish leaned slightly overcooked, but the flavors were still very enjoyable, and the Brussels sprouts were perfectly done. Our friend ordered the fettuccine Alfredo, and after one bite I understood her happiness... rich, creamy, and comforting. Dessert became a celebration: a Spumoni Bomba (three gelatos wrapped in a chocolate shell) and a warm maple cake with ice cream that was honestly sinful in the best way. Our server, Tim, didn't make the strongest first impression but warmed up quickly becoming attentive and pleasant. Cocktails could use a little more polish, my Old Fashioned was a bit harsh, and I was surprised a Boulevardier wasn't available despite a Negroni being on the menu and bourbon well represented. Overall, a very good experience and a wonderful dinner with friends, not bad at all for just a brief stop in town.

Tonight…read morethere were four (4) of us -- upon arrival, they had no record of our reservation which was done (AND CONFIRMED) last week via FB Messenger. Nonetheless, they were able to accommodate us with only a brief wait -- overall, not a big deal. Service was average at best. Server was polite but did not write down our orders which meant coming back to confirm -- both drinks and food several times. We always enjoyed the pizza here so when we inquired about the pizza menu, none was provided but the server "rattled off" three pizza options. Not a good impression since, once we got a menu from the manager, there were plenty of choices. Took, what seemed like, forever to get drinks -- still not sure if there was actually a bartender or if the servers were handling the drinks. MUSIC IS INSANELY LOUD!!! TERRIBLE! Food was mediocre -- it used to be off the charts fantastic. Shrimp and Grits (two orders) were floating in grease from the onions and peppers -- it was awful. Pasta Alfredo, with shrimp and chicken was very good! Salmon with risotto was just okay. Long story short -- this place used to be fantastic, an absolute no brainer to visit regularly. But after three recent visits, we'll take a year or two off until they get their act together.

Email sent to beau@copperandoakky.com (taken from La Cosa Nostra's Facebook page) last night with…read moreno response (yet); will update review if a response is received: "I really don't know where to begin, I'm so taken aback. You're a restaurant in the business of hospitality, right? Perhaps share that with your employee named Ellie, who took it upon herself to nastily and aggressively berate my sister this evening. Let me paint a picture for you. Our party dined with you in observance of three family birthdays (my sister's being one of them) and brought a homemade cake to enjoy, just as we did last year when we reserved the vault room. Imagine our surprise when, upon receiving the checks, we were charged a $25 "cake cutting fee." I realize that's just semantics, like a "corkage fee," but maybe call it something else when the servers do no such thing. I digress. When questioned by my sister about the charge, Ellie told her in no uncertain terms that the cake cutting fee was clearly posted "on the door, the menu, and the website." Multiple members of our party thoroughly checked all three places and found it stated NOWHERE. The audacity! How rude and misinformed can one person be? Needless to say, an otherwise pleasant experience was instantly and wholly ruined by one person's lack of professionalism and tact. I've never had a bad experience at Copper & Oak, so I'm not sure what's gone wrong at La Cosa Nostra, but none of my meals there have come close by comparison. And you can be assured I'll never spend my hard earned money there again; in fact, I'll be hesitant to support Copper & Oak by mere association. And I'll be quick to caution others regarding both establishments. I'll be curious to see if this email is ignored (my prediction) or handled in a timely, professional manner. And even more curious to see - if acknowledged - how you intend to remedy the situation. Oh, and you might consider updating the website, as you highlight both spaghetti and meatballs and saltimbocca, but serve neither."
