Relentless - that is the word that comes to mind. A ceaseless discharge of waste is all that remains after my feeding session. I'm hot, dressed only in sweat, lying on the floor of Dino's bathroom. I never knew Dino, but I am well familiar with his legacy. It all started back in 2017. My old buddy "D-FENS" we called him, because now he works for the DoD, and I stopped by the Seaville Institution that is Dino's one summer evening. I've never been the same since. If I think back, I'd wager I've housed upwards of 40 double cheese burgers with avocado over the course of the nine years since. Sometimes three per session. Anyway, at Dino's you will find something long forgotten in the annals of our age. They built the asylums to contain those who knew of its secret, to reeducate them, but at Dino's the truth still whispers to those with ears to hear. We dined at Dino's for dinner during the week in the summer with a party of 8. Half of our party ate here last year and had a great experience with their seafood, so they recommended we come back during this year's vacation. They do not take reservations even for larger parties, but we were seated immediately upon arriving. From the menu, the vibe, the layout, and the decor, everything about Dino's screamed diner. Lots of menu options to choose from, but everyone was set on seafood. We started with two orders of the Stuffed Mushrooms with Crabmeat. What a start to our meals. They were surprisingly delicious, diner or not! Our entrees came with a soup or salad, and two sides. My wife opted for the split pea soup while I upgraded to snapper soup for a $1 up charge. Both soups were very good as well, and the dollar up charge for the snapper soup was totally worth it. Most of us opted for some kind of broiled seafood platter. I ordered the broiled seafood combo which came with shrimp, scallops, flounder, deviled clam, and a crab cake. My wife chose the broiled scallops and flounder. While the crab cake and deviled clam were delicious, we both agreed the flounder, shrimp, and scallops were bland. As sides we had green beans, fried zucchini, baked potatoes, French fries, and mashed potatoes, most of which were underwhelming. My father-in-law's mashed potatoes came out barely warm, the marinara we requested for the zucchini tasted more like stewed tomatoes, and my baked potato was kind of soggy from being wrapped in foil. Seven of our dinners arrived fairly quickly. Our server, who was actually very good, informed me that someone bumped her tray and they needed to remake my entree. All good, I understand things happen, but my meal didn't come out until everyone else was almost finished eating so I felt rushed. I was offered ice cream or Jell-o as consolation which was a nice gesture, but not worth me accepting especially since we were all so stuffed from the huge portion sizes. I would 100% give Dino's another chance. There were definitive bright spots: stuffed mushrooms, soups, crab cakes, deviled clams, green beans. Next time I'd pass on the seafood and leave the diner food to the diner. Dino's was and I did not notice anybody else ordering seafood. Maybe just a rookie mistake on our part. read more

My first time here. I called an order in was told 20 mins . I got here at 9:30 asked about the food and was told a few more mins it been 30‍. The hosted just looked at me looked back to the kitchen and said nothing. My food finally came out an hour later. I went to pay and this entitled white man jumped in front of me. I said sir I was next and replied no I am, I have been waiting for 10 mins. The lady at the cash register was very old grandma type , say's to me let me just take his payment. I said really and he came back to say yes really. The old lady saw it were this situation was going and tried to explain to him why she should take me first after taking his payment. I looked at her and said don't even bother to explain it would not make a difference. Then she took my payment and apologized for the inconvenience and give me a free chocolate cookie for my trouble. Prejudices at its finest, from the customer to the employee. I will never go there again and it's really sad because the food was wonderful but the treatment I received while there was unacceptable. read more

We stopped by to my mother's favorite diner in her honor. She and my stepfather loved Dino and this amazing diner. We got her favorite: the deep-fried seafood combo (shrimp, crab cake and scallops) with a side of deep-fried eggplant (arteries be damned!) and picked beets. It was predictably awesome. Add to that the fantastic enthusiasm and professional attentiveness of our server Easton and it was another memorable visit. Best of luck at Stockton to Easton! I really wanted to like it here as having a good diner close by is great, but sadly I was disappointed. From the start we were seated in the back of the restaurant and waited over 10 mins and no one came to us. I had to ask a server if someone could attend to our table. When we finally were waited on, the service was slow. We ordered pancakes and the server brought out 1 pancake. Didn't ask if we wanted a stack or just one- made an assumption I guess so we had to order more. My son got the kids mac and cheese which was pasta with an alfredo looking sauce. He did not like it (nor eat it) so we asked for chicken tenders and we were charged for both. I didn't make a thing of it, but that has not happened to us in the past. I eat here every once in a while. The service is always good and everyone is welcoming and nice. Been coming here since I was a kid and it was on the intersection. If you remember that you are OLD. Overall just okay. Service and food, just okay. Interior is dated, but was very clean. Food came out incredibly slow. We ordered an open faced sandwich and chicken parm sandwich with a side of fries. It was around 25-30min from the time we ordered to the time it was served. Side of fries was so small, I would not have ordered if I knew. They were also pretty hard/overcooked. Food was okay, everything needed salt and pepper, but at least it was hot. Mashed potatoes tasted like instant potatoes. Our server and everyone else was very polite, but may have been new. We stopped here for dinner and they had chicken pot pie as a special for Sunday night. I ordered that along with French onion soup. The soup was delicious. The chicken pot pie was just okay at $20. On a scale of 1 to 10 maybe a a 6. The best chicken pot pie is from Ponzio diner in Cherry Hill. They have the best Crab Cakes, I've ever eaten. My husband loved the eggplant parmigiana and spaghetti, sauce/gravy was perfect. Spent the night down the shore at my friends' place and the next morning she had plans for us to go to her go-to breakfast spot. Parking is available on premise and plenty of it but got full pretty quick. It was about 10am and there was a line out the door. For a table of 7, it took about 20 minutes to get seated. Ended up ordering my go-to diner breakfast: two eggs, bacon and tater tots (substituted home fries which I usually get). The eggs were cooked perfect and the bacon was nice and crispy and the tater tots were extra extra crispy. I will probably not order tater tots for breakfast because it's not healthy, at all lol it was tasty but def getting the home fries for breakfast. Coffee was fresh and solid. I could see why this is a town favorite and if I was in the area this would be the spot I would go to for breakfast. Service was good at first but our waitress disappeared and we had to get service from another waitress until our waitress reappeared. Could this be one of the best diners in jersey shore? I believe the answer is yes. The diner on the outside is very welcoming with a real homey vibe. I had the snapper soup for a starter which was one of the best I've had in a long time. The perfect amount of sherry wine sauce in a rich brown broth which layed fresh pieces of turtle meat that was so tender and Devine. For the entree, I had the salmon, scallops, and shrimp. Salmon was perfect with a lemon squeezed overtop, it was great. As for the scallops, they were marvelous as they fell apart right after you bit into them. We usually love Dino's but tonight it was horrible. I order broiled flounder au gratin with cheese and there was about 2 cups of cheese inside of it. It was disgusting.my potatoes was dry and didn't taste right. What a great local dinner. I was visiting from NC for my Dad's 92 birthday and Dino's was suggested as a place that Dad would love. I was extremely happy with our sever Judy, what a personality and a happy soul. She was everything you could ask for in humor and you could tell she loves hers customers and they love her.
