3,5 Doozie's just open this June and it's a fresh new place for breakfast and or lunch. Small but cute place which was nicely decorated. Plenty of staff walking around and helping out. We were a little disappointed that they were out of their homemade pop tarts especially since it wasn't even 11am and they were also out of their Brussels sprouts. Overall everyone enjoyed their meal. The lemon curd on the waffle was delicious. I was told the scrapple was nice and crispy. The French toast had plenty of flavor even without the fruit. Loved the shoestring french fries however they could have been cooked a little more. The doozie special seasoning which I tasted just for the point of tasting had a good mixture of seasonings and would have been a nice touch on a sandwich had I gone for lunch. They are open all year round. Great menu with different and unique items.

Our friend recommended this place, so we gave it a try. Nice little place on the corner of 1st and Asbury. Staff were very friendly. Food was great! I think that was the best home fried I have ever had.

We came here for breakfast after my parents told me this is a new must visit breakfast spot in OC, and it did not disappoint! While we had a bit of a wait, they had cornhole set up outside and we kept ourselves busy playing that which was so fun, especially when the weather is perfect! Once we got seated, our waitress was very attentive and came right over. The menu has so many different options as you could tell by what each of us ordered. My sister and I had to split the homemade poptart and luckily we got the last one! It was a blackberry poptart and wow, it was incredible. The flakiness on the outside and the filling inside was incredible. I also decided to try their fresh squeezed orange juice because I'm a sucker for that, and while it was very tart, it was so tasty! I decided to get the eggs Benedict, and I'm so glad I did. The hollandaise sauce was super tasty and the doozie spice on top hit the spot! They also put it on their version of a croissant which was so delicious. The potatoes were also great! My family members decided to get an omelet, pancakes, and avocado toast, and they all really loved their dishes as well. You could tell when eating all of the ingredients are super fresh. It's also decorated so nicely inside, with a beach and surf theme. Definitely a cute place to go with family although it's not super big in there. Overall, my family had a wonderful experience and we will definitely be back!!

Best breakfast in OC by far! We've tried a great deal of the breakfast spots in Ocean City, this was absolutely the best. The eggs and potatoes were flavorful, the French toast was amazing, and the pancake was cooked well. I enjoyed the latte and they had a great selection of options on the menu. We can't wait to return!

Was very good. Waited 35 min on a Saturday morning in July for a counter spot for 2. Definitely recommend early or plan to wait. Staff were very friendly and food came out quickly.

Newly opened restaurant for breakfast and lunch. Open only a few days a week during winter. Had a brief wait this past weekend because tables were full but moving fast although some menu items were already sold out. We enjoyed our meals. I was pleased that I could order a BLT with french fries from the lunch menu at 11am. And for today's economy, that $8 sandwich was a bargain.

We waited a while to be seated on Monday morning but it was worth the wait. Our service was excellent and so sweet. The food didn't take very long and it was delicious. Best breakfast potatoes I've ever had, they're season so well and crispy. The waffle was also one of the best I've ever had. Family owned too!

After a night in Atlantic City we were looking for a delicious breakfast and Doozie's hit the spot! I love little quaint breakfast spots and this will be a new favorite whenever we are down at the shore. It has beachy vibes with smiling great service. I got the Bacon Benny but switched out the multigrain bread for a croissant and it was absolutely delicious I finished it all! The eggs were perfectly poached and the hollandaise was on point. My husband got the Burrito and it was so huge we both indulged. The home fries are nice & crispy topped with their Doozie's spice. Everything was just great thank you for a wonderful breakfast at the beach!

What an absolutely adorable place! They were SO busy but we got a table for two in less than 10 minutes. The locals were there and the restaurant was buzzing with conversation and delicious food! The service was IMPECCABLE. The food was divine. Fresh, hot, delish. Period. I didn't want to be full but I couldn't finish my breakfast so I got the rest to go. We can't wait to go back next time we're in town!

Excellent breakfast and atmosphere! My son got the pancake flight and I got the seabright omelet and would highly recommend both. Our server, Maddie was very nice and attentive. We'll be back this summer!

Not your average breakfast joint! My wife's family has been vacationing in Ocean City for years and…read morethis was everyone's first visit to Hooked on Breakfast. One of the servers who knows our niece suggested we stop by for breakfast during her shift and recommended we come before 8 am as it gets busy. By the time we arrived (after 8 am lol) our only option was to sit outside, otherwise the wait would've been 45 minutes--she was right. When I say I'm not a breakfast person, I don't mean I dislike breakfast foods. I just don't enjoy eating early in the day. This did not stop me from looking through pictures on Yelp and Google (Wow! Everything looked delicious!) and through the menu which had some very intriguing options including Woody's Scrap Pile, Cannoli Pancakes, and Breakfast Sushi (only on Tuesdays) just to name a few. The menu has all your typical breakfast foods and combos you'd find at any diner or breakfast joint, but then there are also much more unique, elaborate "craft" options that really make this menu stand out. Our server, who is also a teacher in my niece's school, was great. She was friendly, attentive, professional, frequently checked in, and was especially good with the kids, offering crayons and their choice of colored straws. While I didn't eat, my 5 star rating is based on the service (of course), the coffee, and unanimous positive remarks from around the table. I really liked the coffee mugs. They were large (larger than your average coffee mug), sturdy mugs that were filled nearly to the brim with piping hot coffee. My wife got the Sour Dough Delight--grilled sour dough topped with bacon, goat cheese, arugula, balsamic reduction (which she skipped) and two eggs (any style). She loved it and told me she'd absolutely order it again after she tries the Avocado Naan. Guess we're coming back at least twice more lol! Our table also had an Omelette, a breakfast sandwich, and French Toast. Everyone enjoyed their food and the portion sizes were huge--I don't think anybody finished their plate. While I did think the prices were fair, especially for the quality and quantity of food served, the online menu hadn't been updated to reflect current prices. I can see why they get as busy as they do and why they've received so many 5 star reviews. I'm sure Hooked on Breakfast will be added to our list of stops on our annual Ocean City family vacation after our experience this July.

They have a kids menu which was also helpful. The only l thing to watch for is the seagulls! They mainly tried to scrounge at any tables that had just gotten up before the staff had a chance to clear them, but a few times we thought they might try to get to our table. Just a good reminder to not feed them, as they have gotten so bad over the years.

It was very crowded and it felt like everyone was sitting together. You were on top of one another eating with your neighbors. It was a hectic seating scenario, kids running everywhere. Up and down the dock, in-between tables. The seagulls were the worst part. Felt like you had to guard your plate the entire time. One swooped down and attacked the French fries on my wife's plate while we were sitting right there towards the end of our meal. And the best they could do was offer to take our plates away. Food was ok at best. Good portions, no real flavor in the fish tacos, the fish and chips were just deep fried, not seasoned, nothing special or to brag about. was not worth the trip at all. We won't be going back. Not until they fix some major things.
