I had ordered a pizza with my friend so we could eat and study, my friend had waved back at a little boy who had smiled and waved at us his dad approached us and stared cussing out my friend in front of his kids and other children and family's around. He had kicked my friend who is 15 and as I stuck up for my friend started getting close to me and cussing me out asking if I wanted to fight him. I said no and was shook by what had happened we sat there as he walked away screaming at us. The manager a woman came out and told us to leave and to "Get the hell out" we had done absolutely nothing just because we are teens she said we were the problem and I was absolutely appalled at what happened I'm never going back to that "family restaurant" when there is no respect or a good environment I never got my food I had paid for, I was screamed at to leave and wasted money that I work for. read more

Overall, I really enjoyed the food. You order and then sit down. We split the turkey sub with Greek dressing and the 505 pizza that has pepperoni and green chili. We ordered ranch dressing on the side which is something they are famous for. The portions are large. Our favorite was the sub. The bread was perfectly toasted and yummy. In fact, I just got home and I may be craving another. You have to have get the Greek dressing for that. It really ups the flavor. The pizza had good flavor but the crust was a little soggy near the center of the pizza. I would give the pizza a 4 but will come back and try again. The service was great and friendly. You can get fruit as a side instead of chips with the sub. The prices are reasonable for the size. Our pizza was the 12 inch and pretty filling. You can order ahead and pick up at the drive through. I thank my friend Jordan, their biggest fan, for getting them to build near us. My 2 HS kids are excited for the location and pizza by the slice. read more

We frequent this place a lot. Tonight, NYE we ordered online. My husband got there a few minutes late (6:02 was the ready time) and he still had to wait another 25 minutes!!!! The pizza when he got home was very disappointing. Hardly any sauce, not sure they even put any on it and the toppings were sparse. We may be switching our pizza to another place. We ranted and raved to our friends and now not only are they disappointed but we are as well. It wasn't worth our time or money. Not a great way to end 2018. read more

Dion's is absolutely amazing! The employees always look happy and eager to help in any way. The service is fast, friendly, and fantastic! The dining room, kitchen, and bathrooms are always very clean. Not to mention the food is exceptional and exactly what you order. Very Family friendly. I was there with some friends last night, it seemed very busy for a Friday night, there were a lot of us, but we all got our food quickly and exactly what we ordered! When we found out there was going to be a Dion's opening here in Colorado, our group of friends couldn't wait for the big opening day! Went it today to take my elderly mom for lunch. Ordered a pizza with pepperoni and black olives and a salad. The salad come out pretty promptly, but it took forever for the pizza. Then it came out with Hot Peppers instead of black olives. My mother can't eat spicy foods. The young girl behind the counter apologized, and said she would make another pizza. In the meantime she would bring out some cheese bread for us. 1 hour later, no cheese bread and I had to go and ask about the pizza. There was only maybe 4 other people in the whole restaurant. All in all, we were there over an hour and 1/2. I felt like the kids running the restaurant did not care at all about the customers. I did not see an adult working there (or supervising) at all in the hour and 1/2 that we were there. Socializing seemed to be the priority for the employees. The salad was great, the pizza was ok. But the customer service was severely lacking. I doubt we will ever return. read more

Their medium pizza is really more like a large at some places! Very fair prices and if you call ahead for pick up you can go through a drive thru to pick it up. This place is fantastic! We needed to grab a quick dinner and found Dino's. We thought it was just pizza but ended up ordering subs, as they sounded good at the time. The wait in line was quick, the staff was friendly and the menu was very uncomplicated. We grabbed a booth while we waited for our food--the whole place was really clean and bright and the wait was short. Our subs were so tasty! The bread was perfectly crisp and crusty on the outside, but soft on the inside. Each sub comes with a choice of dipping sauce--go for the ranch. The chips on the side were just Ruffles, nothing wrong with that, but you could also get a fruit cup side that looked good. While we ate, a staff member came around and chatted with us about our food and experience. He was definitely not a manager, and we were impressed that he was checking in on everyone and trying to ensure we were enjoying our meals. This was definitely not a fine dining establishment, but it was perfect for our needs. It looked really kid-friendly as well, so we'll be back with them in tow! read more

Husband is from NM so Dion's is always a must-visit on any trip back to ABQ. The Aurora Dion's offers the same experience, same menu (it's not called the 505 in ABQ :) as the original. It's a taste of the high school days, now in our backyard. read more

Ah... Dion's first and last time I will pay for their food. I got the 505 toppings were good. The crust wasn't great reminded me of frozen dough, and the cheese also tasted frozen... very lack luster the marinara was mediocre at best, if I could give you any advise I would say take your chances somewhere else. read more

The pizza and salads are very good and the online ordering is very easy. 4/5 as we've had a few instances of the pizzas ready weren't what we ordered online. What a pleasant surprise! Casual dining, you order at the counter and pay. When your food is ready they call your name to pick up at another counter. We asked the gal at the counter for help since it was our first time. The young lady said her name was Andy, she was the manager and had been working for Dion's for 10 years and just loved the place! She was knowledgeable, made suggestions and you could tell that she really was happy. So nice to see that! We ordered a large carnivore (meaty pizza) a large cheese toast, and a full size chicken and pecan salad. The salad was loaded with pecans, chicken, blue cheese crumbles and we chose raspberry vinaigrette for the dressing. Pretty tasty! The cheese toast was the best I've ever had, toasted to perfection, soft and cheesy without being dry, we ate all 8 pieces! The pizza was great, good sauce and just the right amount, with lots delicious toppings. And it did not cost a lot! Thank you Andy we will be back!! read more

I am originally from New Mexico and grew up with Dion's but now live in Phoenix with no Dion's but was pleasantly surprised to find this location while I was here on business. I ate here 5 nights in a row switching between the sausage and green chili pizza and the roast beef and provolone sandwich. Yum! The staff has been awesome and would give 10 stars if I could. SOOO IMPRESSED!!!! I am so impressed with everything about Dion's from the food to the service. We were fortunate enough to have Dion's cater our PTCO Bingo night at our elementary school and I will start with the clear communication and the ease of getting everything ordered prior to the event. Amy was amazing! The day of the event, the pizza was delivered in the pizza warmers right on time. Adam (I believe that was the drivers name) was incredibly helpful and courteous. He helped get everything inside and made sure we had plenty of paper products for serving. Feedback from our parents: "pizza is great and I'm happy its still warm" "what a great idea to have them cater, I didn't know they were over there. Being from the 505 so happy to see Dions open in the Denver area. Hope they open one on the North side, because the drive out there is the only downside. We eat here once per week, it's going to seem off the beaten path for most who don't live near Cherokee Trail High School. (Don't let its proximity near the high school keep you away!)
