So i needed a last minute appointment, the girl at the desk was awesome I called she said they had no opening but she'd take my information Incase someone canceled. Not more than an hour later she called me back with an opening. So I went in the Girl was great with telling me how everything worked and dos and don't for a first timer like myself. So I was the last person there and I guess I didn't look at my lashes close enough because within five minutes of walking out I could tell there was a issue. My new lashes I just paid $200 for after a $20 tip and their cleaning stuff to maintain the lashes. My lashes we leaning making my eyes look weird, then on the inside and outside of my left eye they were hardly hanging on and were glued to my lashes no my lid. I tried calling that night I was still in the lot I knew they were inside still but no answer so I left a message and it's been two days and nothing and I go back to work tomorrow and at this rate I'll be looking like an idiot because of these ugly lashes. read more

The studio is clean and really cute. The owner makes her own products, including specialized lashes and cleanser. I bought the cleanser, and it leaves your eyes and lashes feeling super fresh. The prices are a little higher than your average "lash girl" but comparable to other lash studios out there (such as Amazing lash), and Selena's doesn't charge for add-ons or work by a master lash artist. Prices are straight forward. And extensions are 100% Individualized to each lash. The studio and service are completely worth it. You get what you pay for!! And that's bomb lashes! Service by Kayla was great! Love her personality!! She made me feel completely comfortable during my entire 3 hour appointment. When I explained I wanted mega volumes, she was realistic about expectations for my set (considering I previously had extensions that I felt damaged my real lashes) and that we would add more volume/length during each refill in the next few weeks. I've been to a couple lash artists here but recently I have seen Andrea and I can't say enough about her! She was so welcoming and made sure I was comfortable and aware of each step so I wouldn't be out of the blue. Let me just say that my lashes have stayed on SO WELL after she did mine. I just got my two week touch up and I am in love! AGAIN!! Andrea spoke about different lash styles and sizes and helped me find the ones that suit my eye shape and size best. I had no idea there were so many options. I have smaller eyes and can't go too big so I prefer the class look. Andrea did an AMAZING JOB!!! She is the first artist at this location who has cleaned my lashes prior to applying new ones. I think every artist there should do this because it ensures they are placing new lashes on CLEAN lids and lashes. I know there are plenty of girls out there who worry about the cleanliness of having lashes applied. I have seen previous artists here and my lashes have fallen out fairly quickly but I am so happy about how well they have stayed on this time. The very first time I went to Selena's was maybe in February. I had about 4 fall out when I got into my car. The following day even more came off. Unfortunately, I wasn't made aware that I could have gone back in for a touch up until my co-workers told me or I would have. I think the pricing is good here. I love this lash studio! I came here after making the mistake of extensions through a Groupon deal with an "artist" in Ontario. I was stuck with ugly, spindly lashes and Selena's Lash Studio fixed them right up. I was easily able to make an appointment for a couple days later. They didn't allow me to choose the artist, but it was fine because whoever did did them was amazing. My lashes were full and fluffy once again! Since I came in for a foreign fill, I was charged the price for a full volume set. My artist was attentive to my needs and would ask me if the glue was stinging. She was very gentle. I feel asleep for most of the session! She also spent extra time fixing a lash that was causing me mild discomfort. Their team is also great at reminding you about appointments or calling to see if you're due for a fill. Unfortunately, I have relocated, but I think this is one of the most quality lash studios in the Inland Empire. Their pricing is pretty average for the area, not incredibly overpriced but not cheap either, but lash extensions that are cheap are not usually good anyways. read more

I purchased a Groupon and had a keratin lift and tint. I had the service completed and my lashes seriously looked like a poodle. They were so tightly curled they hit my eyelid, mascara would be a klumpy mess, and I purchased their recommended mascara. I called and explained what my lashes looked like and that I wasn't happy and asked if anything could be done to fix my lashes. Everyone there was extremely nice. I think maybe there's a lack of experience from the technicians. ?? Before even booking the appointment I specifically told them that I wanted and natural look which I guess is called "classic " look. when I spoke with the technician I told her I wanted a very natural look with the lashes just slightly longer than my own and I wanted them to taper so I had a cat eye look. I don't know if she didn't understand (if that's the case she should've clarified before starting), or she did whatever she thought was best , and I ended up with what I would consider a glam look (see picture). I let them know I wasn't happy with the results. very kindly they offered to allow me to return and see another technician later in the day to have them "fixed". again everybody was very nice. I returned and the technician said that they could not be fixed for a different look. she attempted to remove some of the lashes but they were way too long and I ended up removing them all. I wasted 3 hours of my day and $100 for nothing. They should have at least reimbursed me partially. Ok update: Clarissa the manager reached out to me after posting this review and brought me in to fix my lashes free of charge. I'm so happy with how they turned out this time! Again, they weren't bad before just not my style but Clarissa really went out of her way opening up the studio for me on a day they are closed to fix my lashes. I just realized I forgot to tip her but I will def pay it forward when I go back for a fill cause she will forsure be my go-to lash girl now! I really wanted to like my eyelashes but I just didn't. They're done well and they look good but it's the exact opposite of what I wanted. I told the tech I wanted natural wispy lashes, but she gave me dramatic long lashes, they almost look like falsies, which is soooo not my style unfortu. My eyes are also still super red, and I've tried eye drops and benadryl but nothing will make it go away. Not sure if that's my fault or the lash studios fault to be honest. My lashes aren't too short, so I usually get a lift, but with post partum hair loss, I also lost lashes. With three little ones, I need to cut make up time down. It was very easy to make an appointment online. Receptionists were super sweet. This was my first outing since first lock down in March 2020 besides grocery shopping. I was pregnant at the time then got severe post partum anxiety. I felt super awkward, but Samantha, my lash girl, was very patient and had a calming demeanor. I got the classic with cat eye effect. Where do I begin? This is the worst lash studio salon, and I'm surprised they still have customers. This was my first time getting lashes and I chose Selena's due to its "good" reviews. The process took roughly 2.5hrs which during the majority of it my eyes were burning and tearing significantly. The lash artist (i forgot her name but she had long bright red hair. Later I found out she was new.) at the time kept telling me "the spicy feeling is normal." I sat there sniffling and asking for the water mist and fan to help calm the burn. As the time went on, the burning sensation got significantly worse and I knew that no woman would sit there for 2hrs of her life every 4 weeks to feel this way. However, since that was my first-ever lash experience I wasn't sure what was totally normal so I kept telling the artist it's burning. Fast forward to the last 30 minutes of the process and it's stinging so bad and I'm crying under my breathe hoping it's done soon. The lash tech STILL told me this is normal. We finally complete the process and while the lashes look nice my eyes are completely blood shot red, and feel as though I've been sitting with my eyes open in a chlorine pool for hours. They're tearing streams down my face and I walk out of the salon squinting. The receptionist at the front even said "this is normal. The redness will go away in about an hour." As the evening progresses the eyes get worse. I even wrote a direct message after business closing on their Instagram asking for advice because I was still in pain. They didn't view the message for at least a week! The next morning I woke up hoping my eyes would be better. They were not. In fact, they were worse! I called the salon and explained what was wrong and they had me come in upon opening. They removed my lashes and apologized for my "allergic reaction." Upon Removing the lashes, they got the gel remover in my eyes which caused me extreme pain where I accidentally dropped the F bomb in the middle of the salon. They quickly remove the lashes and my eyes are in so much pain. By this point I'm so concerned with my eyes I run to Urgent Care to make sure I'll be ok. I sit at the urgent care for at least two hours where they looked at my eyes and could see under a black light, with dye on my eyes, the adhesive stuck completely along my eyeball in the lower lash line region. This resulted in a chemical burn to my eyes and a prescription for a possible secondary infection from what had happened. The urgent care flushed and numbed my eyes making sure they got the adhesive off then sent me on my way. I picked up the antibiotic eye drops. As I'm leaving the doctor office I think back to my experience in the chair. Midway through, another experienced lash tech comes by and informs my tech that "it's too high. Move it down." My tech then peels the tape over my top lids and moves it down. Which I then felt my eyes completely sealed. The reason the adhesive was covering my lower eyeballs was due to the fact my eye being partially opened during the procedure. Since this was my first experience I had no idea what should be open vs close, what's normal vs what's not normal. So it was NOT an allergic reaction as they claimed, but poor practice on their end. Even the urgent care doctor was shocked. This was BY FAR the worst experience I've ever had with a business EVER. 1. They chemically burned my eyes 2. Was exposed to possibly getting a secondary infection from their malpractice. 3. Also lead to me having to pay more out of pocket expenses for the Dr. and prescription. My eyes were red for the remainder of the remainder of the week, but at least I had been checked out by a doctor. Whatever you do, DO NOT go to Selena's. P.S. I still have not heard back from the business regarding the Instagram Direct message I sent them. This whole experience and sending of messages by the way happened in October of 2018... just horrible. You've been warned. read more

I've been coming here for 3 months now and I love the professional atmosphere and the chill vibes when getting my lashes done. The front office girls are always nice and cheerful when greeting you. My main lash tech is Diana and she is a miracle worker! She is a master lash artist but her work would make you think she's an elite lash artist. She takes her time and has great attention to detail. I actually had to schedule a fill for a day when Diana was off so I went ahead and scheduled with an elite artist just to compare and see if there would be a difference. Keep in mind that the elite lash artists are more expensive. I forgot what her name was but her work was a huge disappointment because it felt like she was rushing and at the end, there were a few lashes stuck to my bottom lashes and it felt like hell pulling them off. So in my opinion, choose carefully when picking between a master lash artist and an elite lash artist or just go to Diana because her work ethic is impeccable. read more

Kayla is absolutely amazing. Ive been coming to her since she first started working here. I'll admit when they put me with her I was trepidatious bc she is young, but she did a fabulous job from day one, and now she's my preferred artist... I'm picky about my lashes lol. They have to be fluffy and dimensional. Dramatic AND natural. The elite artists here can do this. Working in the industry I've tried many lash artists, including the artist who does many of the A-List celebs (Kardashians, Housewives etc), and I love my lashes just as much when Kayla does them tbh. When I communicate what I want she tries her best to make it happen. I have experienced other artists in the past who are full of excuses why your lashes don't come out the way you hoped. You won't have that problem with her, she meets or exceeds my expectation consistently. If she can do it for you, she will. Every time I say I want to be scheduled wirke Selena the receptionist says "we're opening another location in Anaheim so we're not taking appointment with Selena" I called and said I'm extremely picky and I want to to be scheduled with someone that knows what they're doing! So they scheduled me with elite artist and got volume full set. I left unhappy because I got more of a regular set and I paid $169.99 and tipped the artist. I woke up next morning and 40% of lashes have fallen off, through out the day I had may 20% of lashes left on. I called them and they scheduled me for a free touch up with a different elite artist the next day and they lasted about 5 days. So I did a 1 week fill with different elite artist Cheyenne and she was amazing and lashes lasted about 9 days. I called on the 9th day asked if I could come in because my lashes have gaps in them and look disgusting and willing to pay for a 2 week fill even though it's only been 9days the the receptionist says oh if you have less than 40% of your lashes then we will charge you for a full set all over again. May I mind you that my first appointment was was March 12,2021 and today is March 30,202, so with in 18 days I've gone in for full set $169.99 and a free touch up the next day and a fill on March 19, 2021 and paid $49.99 for fill and paid $29.99 for foam cleanser and brow brush that was broken, because the receptionist thought it might be my cleanser and bought lash food serum $20 that does not work what's so ever. read more
