They forgot my order of bacon and then charged us for it, but they removed it from the bill when I informed them. They do not allow strollers inside. They said we could either leave the stroller on the porch or sit outside, so we chose to sit outside. It was a nice day anyways and they have umbrellas over the tables for shade. I did think it was weird that no strollers are allowed. Haven't seen that before and it didn't feel very baby-friendly. Overall, I'd still recommend LBI table.

We ordered a hamburger, chicken sliders, flank-steak cheesesteak, and shrimp sliders--and every single item was outstanding. We also had a side of the elbow macaroni salad, which was fantastic. To top it off, Jerry was kind enough to bring us a sample of his French toast: thick yet light bread coated in egg, cinnamon, and sugar. One bite was all it took for us to decide we'll definitely be back for breakfast! The service was top-notch from start to finish. Highly recommend!

When the food came, it was bland at best. My hot honey chicken waffle looked like no effort was take. The waffle looked like it was warmed up in a toaster. The chicken wasn't much better. I suspect it was a restaurant demo meal that they just warm up. The hot honey...none. Just a generic breakfast syrup. I asked if they had hot honey but the staff looked confused by the question. Apparently they haven't had hot honey for weeks yet they still had it on the menu. I had to settle for a hot sauce that they probably use on chicken wings...which also wasn't that great. Bad ambiance. Bad customer service. Terrible food. Of the places to eat o n the island, this is easily my least favorite.

These were out of this world and easily the best mashed potatoes I've ever had. I could have eaten an entire plate of them and that's saying something for someone that typically doesn't eat mashed potatoes! The waiter was caring, friendly, and professional. Secondly, the food was great, and actually even better than the last time. I started my lunch with a cup of their Chicken Tortilla Soup, which had a lightly spicy tomato-based broth infused with loads of shredded white meat chicken and garnished with a few tortilla strips. It was flavorful, comforting, and a perfect vehicle in which to dip their crusty Italian bread. Now the real improvement came from my selected entree. While the Asian Shrimp Salad that I had ordered previously was just mediocre, the Seared Tuna Salad that I got this time was delicious! The plate included mixed greens, sliced avocado, julienne cucumbers, pickled onions, cherry tomatoes, and sesame-crusted, sushi-grade tuna, which I ordered seared to a medium rare. The fish was tender and perfectly cooked. Cups of wasabi and Asian dressing were served on the side and further infused a tangy heat to the dish. It was colorful, textural, and simply delicious. We really enjoyed the Bongo Shrimp, Mango Tango Tuna Bowl, and Jerk Chicken Quesadilla. We left excited to come back. This year, we ordered those same favorites along with the conch fritters, and unfortunately it was a letdown. The tuna was fatty and so heavily seasoned that you couldn't appreciate the natural flavor of the fish. The jerk chicken quesadilla had barely any chicken, and the conch fritters were severely overcooked and so chewy that we couldn't eat them. Thankfully, the Bongo Shrimp was just as delicious as we remembered. I'm hoping this was just an off day for the kitchen because our first visit was so good. Based on that experience, I'd still be willing to give them another chance.
