They let my mother and I drive the car to my dad so he could check it out and then to my mechanic to have it fully checked once we ran the numbers and I decided I wanted it as long as it checked out by my mechanic. The car has a few minor cosmetic issues (small scratches in the paint) that are to be expected. The trunk latch cover had dry rotted (it's plastic and this is a common issue), Michael found us a replacement quickly and offered to have it painted as well for way cheaper than Toyota charges for just the piece. The car came with 4 brand new tires, unfortunately the previous owner had straddled a curb or something causing damage to the interior of the rim--which was causing the tire to bubble. (My mechanic found it after he lifted the car to check the bearings.) Michael and his father took off the price of a new rim and tire so we could replace them. They also gave me a very fair price for my trade. Michael, Ray, and I'm sure the others that work at Auto Showcase are amazing and honest people-- they made buying this car quick and easy...they even stayed late so we could get it all done. I highly recommend them to everyone, hands down the best car looking/buying experience I and my family has had.

They really took the time to educate me on the car I was considering and all of my options. It was unlike any car-buying experience I've ever had. Everyone I encountered during my time there was so nice and welcoming. The environment that has been created out there is obviously an excellent one as it shows through the actions of the team members. I'm happy to be a first-time Mazda owner and look forward to doing business with Gem Mazda in the future.

For 6 years I have endured the most poorly managed service (and now parts) departments i have ever encountered. It literally takes 8 hours to do an oil change and tire rotation. Good luck if you need more work done. They don't stock common parts for the most popular model. They recently had my car 5 days to replace a water pump. Now that my extended warranty is running out I do not intend to ever return there. Not to mention they speak to you as though you are a gullible idiot. What they don't know is that i have worked in a parts and service department at a dealership in the past. I actually know what goes on and how it can work smoothly. These people need to get a decent manager and start over from scratch. Avoid them until that happens.

In my search for a used Nissan 370Z sportscar with 6-speed manual transmission across multiple…read morestates, I came across a 2014 Magma Red Base model with 18k miles at Kraft Nissan that was initially priced at $24,946 on 6/13/23. With the reasonably low miles, I was willing to give it some serious thought even though, I'd STILL have to pay at least $1,000 or more to save it shipped from FL to NJ. Plus, I really wanted at minimum a Sport or Sport Tech model, but for the price I was willing to make a compromise. So, I began speaking with a Sales Rep Alan about the car. At first, I asked him to get pics posted since strangely enough, there were none posted on their website, even though the car was ready to be sold. He was accommodating and did take pics and have them posted (it took a bit longer than it really should have though, in all honesty). BUT Alan was friendly, courteous, and professional in phone calls and text updates. THEN, on 6/27/23, the price abruptly was increased by $2,044 to $26,990?? (As of 8/13/23, the price was magically dropped by $1,000 to $25,990 after almost 2 months of no takers...lol). When I asked WHY the price increased by $2k, Alan responded, "It looks like the vehicle price was adjusted due to the daily market values that the dealership follows". His Manager knew that they had an interested and motivated buyer and they STILL did this? NOT a good look, Kraft Nissan! Another very odd thing about this dealership that I've NEVER seen at any Nissan dealership is what they call a "Kraft Care Package" which is mandatory to purchase at a cost of $2,995. Why do I need Nitrogen filled tires? Most mechanics say it isn't needed. I told Alan that this a HUGE money grab. And so, with that ridiculous package added on, an $849 Dealer Documentation Fee, and Tax, the price is $32,408 (Not including any down payment or trade-in from me). When you see the pics below showing what's part of this "Kraft Care Package", you'll wonder how this dealership does business at all. Best to avoid them and shop elsewhere folks.

He proceeded to do the aggressive sales pitch with me, giving me every argument he could think of to persuade me to buy a car right then and there. I told him "no, I'm not buying today " and he kept it up. He did suggest driving a used '26 Camry and never shut up while we were in the car. Nice car, not interested. My continuing, non-changing response was no, not buying today. Just out of curiosity, with no intention of making a commitment, I allowed Bragg to pull my credit information. Pretty good, actually. Sales proposal was disappointing. He just kept up with the aggressive chatter. By the time 5:00 rolled around I wasn't talking to him anymore and went to the service advisor (Moises) to check out. Bragg showed up with another sales person, I think named James, and pushed Moises to one side. Bragg and James proceeded to loom over me, speaking loudly, mansplaining to me about why I should buy a car THAT DAY! James was belligerent--they both were. Their whole attitude was sexist and condescending and overly aggressive. At first this was amusing, then annoying, now I am angry. This encounter was offensive and not what I would expect from this dealership. I have bought and paid for 5 Toyotas since 1977. I know how to buy a car. I know how to brush off a sales pitch if I'm not interested. I have never been subjected to such an ugly sales pitch. I realize that car sales can be a difficult task, but this was out of line. THIS WOULD NEVER HAVE HAPPENED IF I WAS A MAN. I have e-mailed the general sales manager about this encounter and forwarded the e-mail to Peter Boulware. No response. When I am ready to buy a new car, and I want it to be a Toyota, I will consider other dealerships. There are at least eight Toyota stores within a 150-mile drive of Tallahassee. I hope in the meantime the dealership could provide some sensitivity training to the sales people.
