He told me it was a "simple power issue" and said it would cost around $50 to fix. A few hours later, he called me back and suddenly claimed there were multiple problems--now the motherboard "looked suspicious," and he said he might need to order special parts. I asked for proof or photos, but he just talked in circles, using a bunch of technical words to confuse me. It felt like he was making up issues just to raise the price. He said, "I already opened it up, so I have to charge you either way," and then mentioned a new fee--conveniently just under $100. I ended up paying more than double what he originally quoted, and my computer still wasn't fully working when I picked it up. It honestly felt like a scam. I saw another customer arguing with him while I was there, saying something similar. Avoid this place if you don't want to be tricked into paying for "repairs" you didn't ask for. The colors were off and looked terrible, and it had a chin at the bottom. I went back and paid $250 for a proper oled iPhone screen. I was happy with it. I even went back to him weeks later for a screen protector. Everything looked and worked great for 3 months until it didn't. The screen started to glitch when I set it to full brightness then it started to flash and glitch with any movement. Finally my screen just failed. An ideal place would at least have a 90-day warranty or at least try to fix it, especially for a returning customer. He definitely recognized me because I was there 3 times within the past 3 months. Who would want to come back 3 times anyways? He had no intention whatsoever to help me. I asked if he could just check on the screen but he didn't bother answering any questions or concerns. Instead he was rude and I, the customer, had to ask "So how can we fix this?" He wanted $250 AGAIN to make me pay for a new screen. Why would I do that if the first one completely failed? Came in around noon on Thursday to repair a 1st Generation iPad mini and was told the repair wouldn't be done in an hour but until the next day. I accepted. The next day(Friday) I never got a call about it being ready. I went back Saturday around noon to be told it still wasn't repaired. When I asked for it back to go elsewhere, my iPad mini wasn't in the store to get it back. SOL. The red haired girl told me to come back later the evening when Jesse gets in.She then called me later that evening to let me know it was ready. Once I got there I explained nicely to the other worker Jesse how I was inconvenienced by two days for an hour repair. Jesse said he can only compensate me with an apology and that he was swamped with devices. He also stated that I should've stressed to the red haired girl why I needed the iPad ready by the following day. By then, I told him I am not paying him $80 for his issues but I'll pay him $60. He got upset picked up my money that I placed on the counter along with a phone and attempted to throw it at me. I asked him to please let me out of the store which he was hesitant about. The cost to repair and install new parts was reasonable and I was informed prior to any work being done. The store is very clean, well lit, well organized and provides seating if you prefer to wait. The staff is extremely courteous and best of all, no one even tried to sell me or pressure me into buying a newer phone. While I was there, I observed several people walk in for estimates and questions. All were greeted pleasantly. It's a professionally run business and I would definitely recommend it to anyone.
