    We called because dish raised its rate on a satellite dish service we gave at hunting property…read more They agreed to lower the bill for a 2 year period. After 3 months, the bill increased to higher than what we were paying before we called. We canceled our dish service due to false and misleading information. They said we would owe $399 for the remaining "contract". Not sure if it's 3rd party companies or if Dish is that deceptive but beware of the lies and charges the company attempts to tell and charge. Totally took advantage of us after 25 years of paying them.

I signed up online, believing there would be no cancellation fee if I changed my mind. They did promise no price increase for two years. I went for it and I put up with the horrible service for about 10 months and hated that I only had access to two channels at a time and that my satellite was always not working and my shows had to be channeled through my internet, although that part of it was not a big deal. The lack of viewing opportunities was! The TV would change channels when I wasn't looking and stop recording what I was watching or planned to watch if more than two programs were scheduled. I did call them and they offered no real info or help other than to tell me I could get 16 channels, but they offered me no solution, no pricing, no discounts, literally nothing to help my situation. When I couldn't stand it anymore, I cancelled and went back to my previous service. When I called them I was astounded to hear that I owed them $280 to cancel -- what they referred to as a $20 per month cancellation fee. I argued that I was not aware of such a stipulation and they countered that my price was guaranteed for two years. In my elderly, almost-80-year-old mind, that did not in any way equate to my agreeing to a two-year contract that would result in fees if I changed my mind. In addition, my price ACTUALLY did increase during that period although they tacked a name on it as being a separate charge that was "discounted" for 6 months and then went up. I don't know how else to spin it, but a PRICE INCREASE IS A PRICE INCREASE regardless of how it ends up costing me more for a particular service as in cable TV! So today I see they have taken $288 out of my checking account WITHOUT MY PERMISSION and I'm really fit to be tied. I'm pretty old, though, and don't have much fight left in me for nonsense like this. All I can do is spread the word and warn others to beware of horrible business people and businesses like this who are going to steal from the elderly and ignore the facts. DO NOT GET YOUR CABLE FROM DISH NETWORK!

I later found out that isn't actually a fact, but I'm so glad things turned out this way because I wouldn't have ever met this wonderful team at the corporate store if I hadn't been given the wrong information. If you have an issue or need anything...go to this store! The staff is wonderful. Thy got the extra mile to resolve what they can (within reason people...this is still a business and AT&T is what it is!). I highly recommend utilizing this new location for all of your AT&T needs.

As soon as I entered I was greeted by a manager and she upfront shared that it was a 20 minute wait as there were three ppl ahead of me. There's a screen that helps u know the ppl ahead of you. Things moved slow but when I was with a representative she walked me through the options. Like most stores the ordeal was abt 2 hrs long as they worked through the online interface to find my options. Their portals are slow so it takes forever. I walked out without signing up as there were no additional deals than the ones you would see online. I'm fact I had to ask for options after my own research. Overall 3 stars as the staff tried but the wait and overall time spent was too long.
