Our experience with DRC Landscaping has been exemplary! Their crew is respectful, responsive,…read moreextremely hard-working, creative and precise. While working on our project, they became part of our family, and our landscaping is gorgeous. Their owner, Danny, cares about his clients and their satisfaction with each aspect of the work, and Bella and Luis were hands-on and a joy to work with during the process. Shout out to Leonel, Priscilliano, Alonso, and Miguel who worked tirelessly in hot, summer conditions to finish our job. We could not be happier with our choice to go with DRC!

They worked around a couple of trees we wanted to keep, and cleaned them up nicely. Our entire irrigation system needed to be rebuilt as well. We worked primarily with Tracie (and Juan!) and they were amazing. Ultimately they were able to complete our job in less than a week, a month earlier than originally planned, and made substantial accommodations to work around the new road construction on our street. We're really happy with the new yard, and can't wait to see it fill out over the next couple of years. We highly recommend. As for prices, we had also reached out to another reputable landscaper in Reno and found DRC's on par with others, and a little less than what we were planning for. So all around, we are really pleased!

We had a stressful Tuesday trying to figure out what we needed to do with our sudden plumbing…read moresituation. Another plumbing company found out we had a few river rocks down our main sewer line and they were wedged in a way that was difficult to get them out with the Hydro jet. Mary at 1-Tom assured us that they could probably get the rocks out somehow even if they had to dig up the lawn, which the other company said they could do but Mary said they could beat the price. She let us know they wanted our business and after calling many other places, we decided to go back to 1-Tom in good faith. They arrived the next morning around 8:30 and began brainstorming on how to get the rocks out. After a couple hours, I went outside to check on them and noticed two of the rocks were removed. They had been using J-B weld bonding in a shower curtain rod to pull them up. This was a great idea since there is still not a tool designed to pull and grab things up from a pipe down below. All in all they were here for a few hours and they definitely avoided digging up the lawn for $3500. Rocky and I think Steven completed the job. Friendly, trustworthy, and determined.

Unacceptable across the board. They showed up over two hours late, and it only went downhill from…read morethere. Their equipment wasn't working, which dragged the job out to nearly twice as long as it should have. To make matters worse, they spilled what looked like close to two quarts of oil all over the dirt on the property and made no effort to properly clean it up or take responsibility, instead they tried to conceal it by kicking dirt on it and then left it. That's not tacky its highly inappropriate. Communication was just as bad. We had to chase them down for days to get the report, after clearly written instructions to the company. After raising these concerns, the company promised a follow-up call to take care of things that never happened. Completely blew us off. Then the invoice showed up hundreds higher than expected, pushing close to $1,000, including nearly $400 just for the inspection. For the level of service provided, that pricing is hard to justify. After 21+ years in this business across two states, this is easily one of the worst vendor experiences I've dealt with. Poor execution, poor communication, and zero accountability. Would not recommend.

Hired for a septic inspection after entering escrow to sell our home. The inspection came back…read morestating the leach pipe was saturated, so the company recommended a recheck/remediation attempt the following week. The younger tech, Lucas I believe, was polite and professional. However, we were told by another technician (older gentleman) that if the leach pipe was saturated and could not be fixed that we would need an entirely new septic system, but we were NEVER told this company does not actually replace septic systems themselves. I assumed they handled full replacements, so we agreed to let them attempt remediation. Three days and $3,000 later, including about $2,500 just for excavation, we were told the issue could not be fixed and we would need a full septic replacement through a completely different company. Had we been told upfront that they do not perform full replacements, we would never have approved the excavation or remediation attempt because now we have to pay another company to excavate all over again. During the "remediation," they also replaced two pipes that did not even need to be replaced since the entire septic system now has to be replaced anyway. It felt like unnecessary work added onto the bill. The yard was also left looking terrible with dirt piles, patches everywhere. Two other septic companies came out afterward and one specifically commented that if their crew left a lawn looking like that, they would "rip them a new one." After paying $3,000 for essentially no resolution, my husband called asking for the yard to at least be cleaned up properly. The older technician told him he would call the following week to schedule a day to come out. Instead, he showed up unannounced on a random day and immediately started digging in the front yard. When I opened the door and politely asked what he was doing and informed him another septic company was on the way, his response was simply, "yeah, so?" Extremely rude and unprofessional after everything that had already happened. At the end of this, we are now paying an additional $15,000 for a full septic replacement on top of the $3,000 already paid to this company, including duplicate excavation costs that could have been avoided with honest communication from the beginning. I'm sure they may be fine for a basic inspection, but I would not trust this company with costly repairs or major septic work.
