My husband and I Moved to the Reno/Sparks area and purchased a 'Custom' home that was Built in 2004 ! I'm not sure who the Builder was But I Am Appalled By All the Issues We are having with this House ! I contacted "Savage and Son" knowing that Because they have been in Business for 'So Many Years' they Must Know what they are Doing and Boy Was I Right ! Joey came to Our Home, as Scheduled, to Replace Our Water Heater AND Install a Recirculating Pump ! I'm Not Sure Why ALL Homes Don't have this Feature, But as far as I'm concerned it is Essential ! Having to Run your Tap FOREVER To get Hot Water for your Morning Shower or to Wash things in the Kitchen is Upsurd and Wastes SO MUCH Water ! ‍ Joey was A Magician at Installing our new Water Heater, Copper Pipes and All, crawling under our home and Making Sure All Went Well He worked Non-Stop making sure all was working properly, even Cleaning our Kitchen Faucet so that the Hot Water Ran Quickly and Without Restriction ! Joey is a Professional and Knowledgeable with a Kind Personality who is a True Asset to this Company ! Also, One of our Backyard Water Bibs needed to be Moved to a More Convenient Location and Joey, Again, did an Incredible Job ! This company Does Wonderful Work for a Truly Reasonable Price and I HIGHLY Recommend 'Savage and Son' for their Professional Work, Knowledge and Great Employees !

I called Savage and Son to see if they could fix my clogged bathtub, and they were able to send a technician by to fix it the same day. Mikey did a great job of declogging the drains in both bathrooms, and he left everything clean when he was finished. The price was very reasonable, especially considering how quickly they were able to fix the issue. Mikey was friendly, professional, and took obvious pride in his work. He told me about the family-owned company's long history in Nevada, which was pretty interesting. I will definitely call Savage and Son in the future!

Their equipment wasn't working, which dragged the job out to nearly twice as long as it should have. To make matters worse, they spilled what looked like close to two quarts of oil all over the dirt on the property and made no effort to properly clean it up or take responsibility, instead they tried to conceal it by kicking dirt on it and then left it. That's not tacky its highly inappropriate. Communication was just as bad. We had to chase them down for days to get the report, after clearly written instructions to the company. After raising these concerns, the company promised a follow-up call to take care of things that never happened. Completely blew us off. Then the invoice showed up hundreds higher than expected, pushing close to $1,000, including nearly $400 just for the inspection. For the level of service provided, that pricing is hard to justify. After 21+ years in this business across two states, this is easily one of the worst vendor experiences I've dealt with. Poor execution, poor communication, and zero accountability. Would not recommend.

The inspection came back…read morestating the leach pipe was saturated, so the company recommended a recheck/remediation attempt the following week. The younger tech, Lucas I believe, was polite and professional. However, we were told by another technician (older gentleman) that if the leach pipe was saturated and could not be fixed that we would need an entirely new septic system, but we were NEVER told this company does not actually replace septic systems themselves. I assumed they handled full replacements, so we agreed to let them attempt remediation. Three days and $3,000 later, including about $2,500 just for excavation, we were told the issue could not be fixed and we would need a full septic replacement through a completely different company. Had we been told upfront that they do not perform full replacements, we would never have approved the excavation or remediation attempt because now we have to pay another company to excavate all over again. During the "remediation," they also replaced two pipes that did not even need to be replaced since the entire septic system now has to be replaced anyway. It felt like unnecessary work added onto the bill. The yard was also left looking terrible with dirt piles, patches everywhere. Two other septic companies came out afterward and one specifically commented that if their crew left a lawn looking like that, they would "rip them a new one." After paying $3,000 for essentially no resolution, my husband called asking for the yard to at least be cleaned up properly. The older technician told him he would call the following week to schedule a day to come out. Instead, he showed up unannounced on a random day and immediately started digging in the front yard. When I opened the door and politely asked what he was doing and informed him another septic company was on the way, his response was simply, "yeah, so?" Extremely rude and unprofessional after everything that had already happened. At the end of this, we are now paying an additional $15,000 for a full septic replacement on top of the $3,000 already paid to this company, including duplicate excavation costs that could have been avoided with honest communication from the beginning. I'm sure they may be fine for a basic inspection, but I would not trust this company with costly repairs or major septic work.

We bought our house in 2020 and knew nothing about septic systems or what it meant to live on septic. Waters conducted our independent septic inspection and then also cleaned it out. They were great then and I had hoped we wouldn't see them again for another 5-7 years. Fast forward to today (2023), we began a permit process with Washoe County to put a shop on our property. When you're on septic you're required to go through the health department for verification of your septic system and ensure there's enough space on the property for repairs, etc. We opted to work with Waters through this process to get us through our health department nightmare. Dan Martin was our point of contact and let me tell you... this guy is AWESOME. He helped us navigate through what felt like a nightmare, coordinated with the health department directly, and was so so patient with me, my husband, and all the nuances we had to go through to document our septic system and seepage pit. I am beyond grateful for people like him who are professional, relatable, trustworthy, honest, and hard working. He never got annoyed with us and was so quick to support in whatever next step we needed to do for the health department. If you need septic support in any capacity, Waters should be your go-to. Starting with the people in the office to the folks in the field, they are true professionals and a top notch company.

Ryan gave me a quote that was significantly better than some other local companies, and was able to come out and fix it immediately. They promised they'd be there at 7am and be done by 3 the next day - and they held to their word! They came out, relined my sewer, installed a clean out, and covered up the hole by 3pm, even hauling away the big rocks they dug up. They did such a great job that I just hired them to repipe all the plumbing in my crawl space and yet again, they gave me a super reasonable bid and were 100% true to their word. This time a crew of 2 younger guys came out - they were extremely polite, got the job done in the time promised, and cleaned up and were on their way out in a day! Plumbing issues are a massive pain in the butt but these guys do live up to their names - they made the whole thing EASY. Every single employee I have interacted with from Liz in the office, Ryan giving bids, and now 3 other service guys have been amazing - super friendly and kind. This even includes the guy who came out at 7pm on a Sunday to clear the line when I first had the issue - nothing but amazing people work here. I shouldn't need any more plumbing now that they fixed it all, but if I ever do, they'll be the guys I call every time. I HIGHLY recommend Easy Rooter!

I decided to go with "Cured-In-Place Pipe" because it only requires a single hole approximately 2'x4' instead of a trench through my landscaping that would cut very big tree roots since the trench would have been within five feet of four very large trees. Replacing the pipe would also have left three feet of my old (orangeburg) pipe from curb to the city connection, unless willing to pay an additional thousand dollars for 3 more feet. Ryan and two crew members showed up at the scheduled 7 AM time and did an excellent job. Finishing around 2:30 PM after the city inspector approved the work. Ryan and his crew were professional and careful with all the landscaping. They installed a new ABS cleanout, backfilled and cleaned up the work area beautifully.
