I had a discount certificate for Dirty Pi so I figured to use it for takeout. Dirty Pi is located on Lear Road in Avon Lake very close to Lake Erie. The stand alone building is a bit drab on the outside, but inside you find a contemporary pizza shop, a service counter with the kitchen behind, including the cool round pizza oven on one side, on the other side is a small dining area with a few tables; but Dirty Pi is set up mainly for takeout. The menu is above the counter and you have to crane your neck to read it, but it runs you through the offerings. The young man there was friendly and helpful. With $30 to spend I ordered two pizzas, A Veg Head (no pineapple, add jalapenos) and a cheese pizza with spinach, garlic and vegie sausage. From order to pickup it only took 15 minutes, which I spent looking at the nearby thrift store; me pizzas were ready right on time. The drive back to Beachwood smelled great. At home I saw that I had 2 oblong pizzas, about 18" by 6"; thin crust with a very nice outside rised crust. The pizzas were well cooked, which is right to my taste. The star of the pizza is clearly the crust, nicely risen, perfectly cooked, crisp with some chew and just a hint of tang. The sauces were good, although I would have appreciated a bit more sauce on each pizza; of the 2 the pesto sauce had more flavor and impact. The cheese is good, although once again I could have enjoyed a bit more. The toppings were of excellent quality and very flavorful, I especially enjoyed the mushrooms, roasted garlic and vegie sausage. For me 4 slices (half of a pizza) made a satisfying meal. Dirty Pi makes an excellent pizza using high quality ingredients, perfectly cooked. The pizzas are more about great flavors rather then overabundance, emphasizing quality and over quantity. These pizzas are a modified Neapolitan pizza, great ingredients, high heat cooking and appreciating the natural flavors. I would strongly recommend giving them a try.

Chicken tenders and mayo based slaw.

First time. Not great but good. I would go back. Saw them on Instagram and made the 1/2 hr drive within hrs. I got the 3 pi sampler. Asian, Italian and Merica. All good, not great. Also got the chicken tenders. Good size. They look like fried pork chops. Got the buffalo blue, cooler ranch (a lot of dill & tasty,) roasted garlic Parmesan (probably my least favorite) was kinda like an olive oil Parmesan paste of sorts. And cilantro sauce. Nice crunch and the biggest thing I liked is they weren't overly salty. The older I get I just hate overly salty food. I got the mayo based Cole slaw...Not a lot of flavor. Also got the hibiscus lemonade which was nice and fresh and a nice change from a soda! It was a nice 25 minute drive from Cleveland and man if your on the stretch of road "Lake" try not to wreck looking at all the big beautiful homes along the lake!!! All in all a nice experience and a nice chill day for me. Oh and also good speed. Ordered and was out the door within 15 minutes

We came here for a date night a few weeks ago after seeing a review of this place online. A small pizza joint on the West Side, it appeared that most of their business was take out but we opted to dine in. They specialize in wood fired speciality pizzas and Korean fried chicken. My husband and I decided to try a pizza flight (yes, there is actually such a thing!) and ordered the Asian, the Italian, and the American. The Asian was incredibly spicy and I couldn't eat it. My husband enjoys spicy things and thought this was his favorite but still felt it was too spicy even for him. The American failed to impress either of us. Supposedly tasting of ranch, I tasted more fill than anything else. The Italian was my favorite with a balsamic glaze. The crust on all three was thin, and really delicious. We also ordered Korean fried chicken with four different house made sauces. The chicken fingers were HUGE. The breading is unique and slightly peppered. We have been to Korea and had the real thing and this is not it, but it is good. I wasn't a fan of any of the sauces we ordered but my husband liked them. I tried the honey mustard which was too vinegar heavy for me, and the bbq which again, I didn't think was anything special. I wish they would ah just had plain honey bc I think it would have complimented it well. Despite this, the staff was super friendly and happy to answer questions and make recommendations. The inside was clean and kitschy. Drinks include Mexican cokes and speciality teas and lemonades. If I lived in this area, I would definitely try it again and possibly make my own pizza and order different sauces for the chicken. Seeing as this is a 40 min drive from my house, there are places we like better that are closer. If you're a fan of unique pizzas and tasty chicken, check this place out.

Finally a pizza place that knows how to make good food. The American style pizza I just got is the best pizza I've had in my 4 years in Cleveland! This is a must stop for pizza lovers. Not to mention the owner is extremely nice and grateful! Very clean inside and out!

Good fresh, quality food and a nice clean restaurant. We ordered via phone, 2 Pi's to go. Staff were great during our 1st ordering process here and were very pleasant. Both of our Pi's were really good and we will likely try a couple other Pi options next time/ visit, or maybe the chicken too? Both were a little on the spicy side but we were ok with it. The Asian Pi was great with Korean chicken style bbq and we also had The Shoreman -a meat lovers with an Italian side salad, yum.

Saw this pizza place that offered Korean style fried chicken and decided to make the drive to see it. The young woman behind the counter recommended a pizza flight to get three small pizzas to try. Pizza was pretty good. It offered lots of toppings with a thin crispy style crust. We got the Italian, the Asian and the American. The Asian was too spicy for my wife. She liked the other two though. The fried chicken was pretty tasty with lots of sauce options. Decor was cute. Tables were high tops with metal stools. The tables gave off a vibe of a takeout place more than a dine in place. It was nice for not having a line to dine in but could be improved. Overall I was glad to have made the 45 minute drive to eat there. If I lived close, I could see it being a go to spot.

2 Tenders - XTRA LARGE TENDERS

Yummy pizza in Avon! I was recently staying at a hotel just 5 min away and was looking for an option for dinner. I ordered online for pickup and it was ready in about 15 min. Very easy to get to location and helpful staff. Now on to the food! I ordered the Asian Pi and 2 tenders. The pizza had a strong kick to it and my mouth was on fire after two pieces. I have zero regrets-this pizza was so good!!! The dough was flavorful, and the hot honey that was drizzled on the pizza gave a unique flavor. I can't believe I hadn't tried this place before-I can't wait to try another pi!

My friends and I ordered carry out on a Friday night. We ordered the Italian, the hot and dirtie, and the Mercia pizzas. These are more flatbreads than pizzas in my opinion, and I could definitely eat entire one by myself. The Italian had red sauce, fresh mozzarella cheese, tomatoes, arugula, and balsamic drizzle. The hot and dirtie had chicken, hot sauce, hot honey, and pickles. The Merica is there take on a chicken bacon ranch pizza - this was my favorite. It had just that - chicken, bacon, and a special ranch dressing, but topped with arugula. I think their crust is really good and I believe it's made in-house. Because it's a essentially flatbread it's pretty crispy but also a little bit chewy was just just how I like my crust. I would love to return because they do have chicken tenders that are supposed to be pretty good with lots of sauce options.

    Vegan Italian pizza

We popped in for our first visit, and were si impressed by the friendly owner's service and cooking. My husband is gluten free, so he was in heaven withe options. He loved the very flavorful cauliflower crust pizza. Did someone say gluten free chicken fingers? What a treat! They were so big, he ate his order for two more meals. I had the best began Italian pizza I have had in decades. Although the ambiance is more high-school after-game hang out vibe, the food was so good, we can't wait to grab some friends and go there again.

    Three lovely tenders. Yum

Here's a polished version that sounds warm, appreciative, and professional:…read more I'm so grateful to Antica for helping make our family gathering after my father's funeral on May 29, 2026, such a special and memorable experience. We hosted approximately 40 guests in one of their private event spaces, which included a beautiful patio and provided the perfect setting for our family and friends to come together. The private room gave us the opportunity to share toasts, speeches, memories, and support one another in a comfortable and intimate atmosphere. The food was absolutely outstanding. We selected a variety of appetizers along with an open bar, and every item was delicious. Our guests couldn't stop talking about how wonderful everything was. A special thank you goes to Aaron, the manager, who was exceptional from start to finish. He promptly returned calls and emails, met with me personally at the restaurant, and was present throughout the entire event to ensure everything ran smoothly. His professionalism, compassion, and attention to detail made a difficult time much easier for our family. The staff was equally impressive. Our bartenders were friendly, attentive, and fantastic throughout the evening. As an added touch, the team even packed individual containers of leftover food for guests to take home, which was greatly appreciated. I cannot recommend Antica highly enough. Whether you're planning a celebration, shower, family gathering, or memorial reception, their food, service, and hospitality are truly exceptional. Thank you for helping us honor my father in such a meaningful way.

My husband and I came here for Valentine's Day - we were excited to come and when we arrived 10 minutes early for our reservation they were able to seat us right away. The restaurant has 2 "rooms" one was a little more romantic and contained comfy looking couch/seats and the bar, the other room was a room, plain looking. I'm a sucker for theme drinks and ordered a Berry Hibis-KISS Cocktail. It literally had no flavor. My husband ordered an old fashion For food I got the Fig Carmelli it was delicious but wasn't enough especially for the $30 price tag My husband got the Chicken Parmesan normally priced $29, but for Valentine's Day was priced $30 Our total bill was $92.78 - not too bad! Here's why I diced the stars - there was a table near us, who was the only other table I could see our server waiting on. They folks were treated like KINGS - I saw her bring them bread, with oil Twice, they had their glasses refilled, the server kept checking on them and I overheard them talking about their desserts being "comped" Meanwhile, I had to walk to the bar to get a water refill, and when I asked about bread the server said "so sorry, the kitchen is really backed up" (amazing that it wasn't so backed up to get the other table bread twice, and every table in our room had bread, and the kitchen was able to get our food out, but couldn't get us a couple slices of bread over the hour were were sitting there!!!! I HATE being lied to.

People, I'm being serious here. I love Brassica's falafel…read moresandwich. I love everything about it; the warm, soft pita, the crunchy fresh made falafels, the sauce and veggie add-in options (I usually go Baba and eggplant). Tip- whatever option the sandwich maker suggests just say yes :) Pile it in....the pita can handle it! Every bite is delicious. The sandwich is built so every bite captures a little of everything. The happiest part of my day is knowing I'm going to eat at Brassica. The saddest part of my day is staring at the last bite knowing it's over....no more. I can't tell you how the other options are at Brassica with exception of the fries...a nice addition to the sandwich with the garlic mayo sauce. I'm confident whatever you choose will be a winner but I command you to go with the falafel sandwich first! I'll be back.....just not soon enough.

I got a hummus plate on accident (it's literally a plate of hummus with toppings) and I don't even usually like hummus like that but this was phenomenal. I added all the toppings possible and also chicken. All the toppings are fresh and flavorful. My favorite was the cucumbers and radish which had the perfect amount of vinegar sharpness and crunch to balance out the meal. I do think one pita isn't enough for the amount of hummus so I took it home and had it with fresh cucumber slices and it was divine. I also tried the chicken pita sandwich which was yummy but I think next time I would get a salad plate. I also tried the fries which were fried nicely and seasoned wonderfully. Would highly recommend!
