I will not be going back to this establishment for tires or services ever again due to poor and disappointing customer service and lack of accountability to issues regarding tire installation. Called about an issue brought up by other mechanic shop - they informed me that whoever touched my car last, which was a tire service I received in February from Monrovia Discount Tire, cross threaded two rear bolts for the wheel. Two of the studs snapped off and would need to be replaced or the wheel will not grab onto the car safely. Francisco picked up for the call and I asked if a reimbursement was possible or another way to remedy/rectify the issue. He asked how much I was charged and said I overpaid, informed me that a test drive was done after installing my tires and my car was fine. He also let me know that it'd be hard to investigate because it's been a while and corporate would need to get involved. All while slightly laughing at the situation throughout the call. At this point I feel disrespected, not taken seriously, and I was about to just drop the issue and never go back. Then he said he would talk to his district manager and update me by end of day, so decided to give them the chance to rectify. He did not follow up and it's been a week. read more

I made an appointment on a Saturday and when I got to the location the person at the front desk told me that there were a lot of other appointments so it would take a long time to complete. That's fine, but I wish the POS system does not continue adding appointments if it's too full. My appointment was at 11AM and the person at the front said it'll take until 3PM and he will call when it's done. 4PM comes I'm calling and they mentioned that "my car's next". Then I go to the location and see my car done, but was surprised since I didn't get a call! I think the system needs to be updated and communication needs to improve. Says will do the job come on down now then you arrive and they say no try tomorrow. Arrive first thing in am and they say about 1 hr - to fix a flat- you hear nothing all day. You finally called them before they're ready to close and they tell you no sorry we can't do it today. That's twice and the second time they leave you on hold for 20 minutes. You hang up and call back and they apologize for not getting back to you... We've taken our business to Costco. read more

Ladies, don't go here! I was getting my oil changed nearby and they discovered a screw in my tire. The oil change place refilled the air in the tire, told me that a tire place will charge me $20-30 to patch it and recommended Discount Tires down the street. Well, I get to Discount Tire and the guy there tells me that they cannot patch my tire because the tread is too low and that it is time for a new tire and that I should replace all my tires. He then gives me a quote for over $600 for no-name tires. I leave to think it over and got my dad to look at my tires and he told me I still had another 10k miles left on my tires and even showed me with a penny that I still had plenty of tread left. I take my car to a tire place closer to me and they patch it for free in 15 minutes and they don't even say anything about needing new tires. Would not come back to this location again because it's dishonest!! read more

Damaged My Tires, Wheels, and Tried to Charge Me for Their Mistake. I brought my 2024 Toyota Prius Prime to this shop in July 2025 to have a new wheel and tire package installed. It turned into one of the worst service experiences I've ever had. During the job, their technician damaged all four of my original Toyo Extensa A/S II tires and even broke the TPMS sensors, then tried to charge me to replace them. The manager, Francisco, admitted their mistake and promised to replace my tires, but months went by with nothing but excuses about "backorders." My emails to corporate and the store were completely ignored. Only after I filed complaints with the Better Business Bureau and the California Bureau of Automotive Repair did corporate finally intervene. They replaced my tires in October, over three months later, but when I got my wheels home, I discovered machine gouges and puncture marks inside all four rims, with the paint stripped down to bare metal. These wheels were pristine before this service and had never been touched by another shop. They still won't provide any written response, claim number, or invoice, obviously to avoid admitting fault. Avoid this place at all costs. Their negligence damaged my property, and their lack of accountability is unbelievable. read more

So I initially came in here because someone referred me to come get my tires and alignment checked because I had been hearing some noise... honda brushed it off as if nothing and or something to do with tires and or somewhere around the tires... so I brought it here and they took a look. 2 if their tech took a look and a listen and they could hear exactly what I heard so they checked on the tire, alignment, axel and whatever else ... they had another tech from another shop in the same area take a listen and a test drive and he tooo heard it... so they said NOPE take it right back to Honda in other words these guys are thrall and pay attention to concerns not just out to get your money read more

My Chrysler Pacifica 2022 had a slow leak in the front tire. With busy Christmas schedules it was a real pain to keep going to service stations to pump the tire up. One tire shop said that I would need four new tires to solve the problem. A long drive was coming up, so I took the car to discount tire in Monrovia because it was close to my home. My experience was great.! They told me they could fix it that afternoon. They repaired the front tire with an internal patch. This is the best way to repair punctures. The shop was very busy that evening but everyone was given good respectful service and the wait was reasonable. This is a well run shop and I will return in the future. They saved me hundreds of dollars and a lot of frustration dealing with other shops. The leak is fully repaired and my tires still are nearly new. Give them a try if you need tires or alignment services. read more

Excellent service. Called in for a quote to get a nail on my tire tread (not corner or side wall) plugged/patched and they were able to take care of it at no cost! Brought in my vehicle around 2pm on a Tuesday and they were done in less than an hour. Had 2 experiences there, the first was to get be tires. The second was to get a tire rotation, oil change and flush out some liquid. First experience was fine, very time consuming. I got cheap tires, they don't particularly grip the road well when it rains but it's not their fault. It's just been a very wet year. Second time I went, I scheduled ahead of time. Estimated wait time for 2 hours. It was accurate. It could've been done faster but they ran out of oil filters for my model because it was commonly used and they ran out. Appreciate the transparency but it's a bit silly when you schedule ahead of time and inventory isn't prepared for it ahead of time. Staff was kind, waiting area has 2 TVs and locally while you wait there is coffee bean, fast food and some random stores across the street to kill time if needed. read more

Double Check These Guys! It was my mistake leaving a five star review here at first because I didn't check the service they provided. I thought I could trust them with simple services like tire rotation and an oil change and I was unfortunately mistaken. Not only did they not do their job, they wasted my time and put the wrong size of tires on my car! Who Does This?! Check the work they do and do not just think they will do a good job! I'm disappointed and wasted an hour of my time to drive back to them so they could fix they're mistake. Now I question the oil change they did as well, when I asked for proof on the day they did that they told me the worker had already went on lunch so if I was to look at this for what it is. Snake Oil Salesmen in training. I came here to balance my front wheels. I'd used too much Green Slime on my front tires to stop a small air leak. The leak stopped, but the excess slime caused the steering wheel to shake at speeds over 60 mph. These folks took care of the problem by removing the excess slime. It was such a simple fix, that I was upset at myself for not thinking of it. Lesson learned! The problem was everything else they tried to upsell me. They did a complementary inspection of the vehicle, which seemed considerate, until they returned with a list of things needing replacement, like break pads, suspension components, and car battery. All combined would add up to over $2,000, which they claim were savings of thousands compared to dealership markups (BTW, the car is worth less than $5K). What they did not bother to check was that the battery was new. I'd bought it less than a month ago. The pads had been replaced recently as well. When I told them this, they were surprised and apologetic. I paid the $50 never to return again. read more

I will just bullet point my experience... -Took my 2021 Jeep Alpine Gladiator with 40k miles truck in for a oil change tire rotation, tire patch and break check on 12/30/2023 @3:30pm. - I called at 5:30PM (they close at 6pm) and asked if it was ready? They said, "no". I asked them if they could take payment over the phone and leave my keys in the gas tank area so I would be able to pick-up after hours? They said "of course". -It was 6:30PM and I never heard back from them so I drove to the shop to see what was going on. I found my truck parked in the front with the keys inside the gas tank. -I got on the freeway and my car started shaking uncontrollably!! I exited and drove slowly home. -I called the next day to find out they never did tire rotation, and they told me my breaks were good, and that they patched my tire. After I explained the truck was shaking uncontrollably, they requested for me to bring it back in. -I could not bring my car back in till 01/2/2024 as It was NYE, then New years Day. -Upon the brake inspection they said I needed new break PADS and that my rotors were good. For front and back brake pads it would cost me $780 (including $61 oil change). But I should buy new tires because I needed more support. I told them Brake pads only!! -I called my husband to give them a ring and see if the pricing was fair. And he was told that I needed rooters and that they can do both pads and rotors for $1,380.00. He said, "no!". My husband then went online and found the exact brake pads and rotors for $681.00. That was cheaper than the initial pad quote that was $780 (minus $61 for oil change). I told him to call back and cancel the brake pads, that with the initial service treatment, and quotes that it was not adding up, and I felt like this company did not value their customers nor were they being honest. -They took off the GOLDEN $780 brake pads and put my old ones back on. -I paid $159 for oil, tire rotation, and brake labor as they charged me for taking on and off the brake pads. -Upon picking up my truck they left me a little message all over my center console (see picture). I mean clearly this was not an accident. I have white leather interior, and have spent a lot of my money on my truck only to take it here and have someone pretty much treat it like it's worthless peice of junk! NIGHTMARE!
