I called to have new tires put my husbands car. I called at 9am. Asked if I came in 15 minutes how long the service would take bc I had an 11 am appointment. They promised me it would take under and hour. I showed up at 917 exactly. By 1015 I noticed my car hadn't even moved. So I went to the front to ask how much longer bc I had an appointment to get to. They promised me my car was going in the bay within 5 minutes and it would only take 15 minutes. Then at 1040 the service guy came out to let me know it was "in the bay" and it was going to take 30 minutes. Very nice people but they will just gaslight you and lie about every time frame apparently. I am now having to cancel my appt because it's already in the bay and not like I can leave at this points if they were just upfront and honest to begin with I would have chosen a different time to come in. They did cover one of the costs which was a plus. read more

I carried my car to the Discount Tire on Tower Rd. because I had received very good service in the past. Unfortunately, this is no longer the case. I purchased run-flat, all-season, Pirelli tires. They weren't the most expensive; they were not the cheapest either. I got the standard package that was supposed to include a free alignment check. They installed the tires and sent a text stating my car was ready for pickup. Imagine my surprise when I arrived to pickup my vehicle only to be advised the alignment check had not been done. Needless to say I was totally annoyed! I had advised the Discount representative that since my $1500.00 tires included alignment check I wanted it done, but I would have the alignment done by my regular mechanic with whom I had years of impeccable service. I take responsibility for letting the service tech convince me to take my vehicle without the service being done. Yet, I am not pleased the shop parked my vehicle on an incline without engaging the primary parking brake. It is very unlikely I will return to this shop. read more

Ive been trading at Discount for at least 20 years. my son and I stopped by DT on Dec 20 to see if they could repair a hole. I had a bolt in my tire. The guy said "Do you wan the good news or bad news?" As they NEVER have good news. He said the tire could not be repaired so I had to buy 2 new tires for the back so the aisle would be even. Okay, I would have spent almost 500 dollars if my son was not with me. He said "Mom, shop around!" I left and went somewhere else, they repaired that "500 hundred dollar hole" for free in a hour. Discount Tire is the best for tires because that's all they do. No oil changes, no brakes, no bs stories. Only thing I wish they offer is alignment service. Monday morning Walk in was about a 3 hour wait but you can do online appointments to save time. Shoutout to Chensan for his help identifying a screw in my rear passenger tire. This is probably the worst discount tire in America. Came in with a flat tire repair, left with the same flat tire after they told me it was patched and I was good to go. I've been a satisfied customer here for the passed 5 years. I have 6 cars at home that I get serviced here. I set sup an appointment for an alignment days ahead to ensure a spot, but I still had to wait over an hour for my car to be looked at. After they test drove the car, they deem it to be "too low" for service. I've been getting this same car aligned here once a year. I don't understand why it's now "too low" to service. I haven't done any change to my car set up at all. All I got from front desk was a shoulder shrug ‍. Well, it's been nice while it lasted, but I will be bringing my business elsewhere. read more

Went in yesterday(April 4th) just to get air. We waited for about 10-15 mins before anyone came out. The car in front of me got air with no problem, no additional assistance or checks. Once it was my turn an older Black gentlemen joined the gentleman that was already giving air. I explained to them that my back driver side tire had just been repaired and my air pressure light was still on, and that the air in the tires probably need to be evened out. They did the drivers front and back just fine . When they got to the passenger side, they said that the thread depth was too low and against CDOT Recommendations to put air in them(2) I asked them to at least even out the driver side so that I would not drive off, uneven , especially not knowing what passenger side levels were. They wouldn't even check the air level on the passenger side. They refuse to check the levels and continued to say that they were not allowed to touch the tires on the passenger side. He then asked me if I wanted to come inside and buy tires. I asked him isn't it just as dangerous for me to leave here not knowing what level of air I do have on the passenger side, considering the driver side was set to recommended pressure? Doesnt the weight of the car make driving on low pressure risky? No Answer! I told him that the tires came with this car and the car was only three years old. I just got service at the Mazda dealership, February 21 and all tires were not at a dangerous level(Mazda vz Discount tire pics attached). He then said that if I want any service on my tires and not buying new tires then I need to go somewhere else. I left with far driving wobbly, and the car is slightly slanted. My family and I have been servicing our cars with discount tire for at least over 20 years. And even on the worst conditions of some of our previous cars, we were never treated this way. The entire staff knows they are running scams. Check your receipt and make sure all costs add up correctly. This locations "system" does not do math as it should. Also, check to make sure you receive the equipment that you arrived with. I took a picture of the bill on my phone while they were working on the car and found the totals were not correct. Without explaining the total, they asked me to pay the bill. I asked them to please explain the breakdown and charges, which they attempted to do in the most confusing and distracting way. To their surprise, I was overcharged incorrectly. After them attempting to fix the subtotal I was told the "system" doesn't do the calculation like it should and requires a manager to make the changes. The manager was not present before, during, or after any of these discussions/checkout process. It should not be up to the customer to find and correct mistakes. The "system" should be correct 100% of the time. Please always check your receipts before paying these clowns. If you don't question them, you're going to end up paying more than you should. After leaving, I noticed that they didn't leave my perfectly good tire that they replaced in the vehicle like they promised. Not only that, they replaced my valve caps with two different caps , one red shiny one and a black one (I had purchased and installed 4 silver caps prior to my arrival). They attempted to locate the missing caps but only found one. For the inconvenience they provided me with a handful of other caps. I only needed 4. After thanking the tech for the work I expressed my frustration which they responded with "I understand". Another tech listened in and as I turned away to my car they began laughing. Joke is on discount tire for their business practices and lack of responsibility and transparency. I will not be returning to this location. People, again, please check your receipts. Question the charges if they don't make sense, and hold discount tire to their word. read more

My brother went in to get new tires and the front desk guy advised it will take an hour and 30 minutes and will be done before 6. We left at 4:15pm and they advised they will call when done. At 5:30 we didn't hear anything so I took him over to the store. We get there and they are closed. My brother is from out of state and the worker assured it would be done before 6 because he said they closed at 6. We get there and the shop is closed, no call from anyone and everything he has is in the ride because they are on vacation. Don't check the ride in and say it will take 1.5 hours to do and assure it will be fine by 6 and close at 5 without a call. Went to go get a screw out of my tire because they will normally fix for free. Because of some unexpected expenses I couldn't afford new tires yet. They wouldn't do anything to help because my tires were too bald. Oh my bad they would put the donut on for me IF I had one. Having 0 money i had to leave with a screw still in my tire. They stated safety reasons and that they could only replace all 4 tires. So now I'm out driving around with a slow leak because they wouldn't get the screw out In the name of safety. Picked up a nail due to all the roof repairs in the area. Stopped by, waited over an hour. Then the guy went out and told me that the tire was worn to less than 2/32". He used some type of scanner. I told him that I could see with the naked eye that it was over 1/8". He looked for a tool to manually measure the tire but came back with the same scanner. He was so interested inselling me new tires for my 2 year old car with 30K miles on it, that he didn't even look to see if there was a nail or something else causing the leak. I have bought tires at Discount many times over the years, but no more. I refuse to be scammed, and will buy my next set of tires anywhere else. How many people have fallen for the fake scanner trick rather than see with their own eyes. I can see the amount of business you have by the long, long waits. Got quote on-line for 4 Michelin Defender Two tires, which was the exact same price as Costco. Called yesterday and made an appointment for this morning after confirming that they had the tires on sight. Although they were very busy when I arrived at 9:20 am, they were very efficient in managing everyone and the new tires were on my car, with me leaving at 10:30 am. Bought the insurance plan too since I've used Discount Tires in past, and had to utilize as even new tires can get damaged with roads that are trashed. This place gets so busy, the customer service lacks! The only reason I gave them two stars is because they did try to make things right, but failed! First.. I purchased two rear tires when I got my car back I noticed after I got home that one of the rear hubcaps was missing. I called, talked to Erik and he said he would order a replacement. He wanted the vin number. I thought I better go back to the store because I was not confident I would get a matching hubcap. Erik took down some info and said he would call when it comes in.... no one ever called and it never came in, probably because he forgot to order it. Second.. I made the trip back there (this store is nowhere near where I live), waited 15 min in a long line to again ask for a simple replacement hubcap. When the guy finally helped me, I could sense an annoyance that I was mentioning my griefs with me having to be there for a third time. The guy took some info and said he would call me when they come in, in about a week. They took just about two weeks but they did call and I went back for a fourth time to pick them up. Third.. my third grief is that if they broke my hubcap, or somehow lost it, why couldn't they just fess up and let me know instead of seemingly hope I wouldn't notice and having to make four trips to the boonies? They did however give me four replacement hubcaps instead of one. They also did make an honest effort. Went here for tires last month & I brought my car to a shop today for a oil change only to find out all my lug nuts are not on my car. When I called them just now to tell them they forgot the only I got was they have lug nuts just aftermarket ones. I understand things happen but as a service writer for another dealer I feel the right thing to do is order me a OEM lug nut to make things right. I refer all my clients to discount for tires being they usually have the best deals in town but if this is the treatment I got being a returning client of theirs I will never refer my clients here. read more

Had a question that needed human input so I called the store. 3. The gentlemen was very helpful 4. He made out appt for the next day and he gave us the instructions for dropping the car off outside of business hours 5. The next day I called when they opened to let them know the car was there. By Noon I still hadn't rec'vd notice the car was ready so I called. The same gentlmen that helped me out the day before answered the phone. He was very apologetic but that didn't help. They really dropped the ball on this one finally got the car at 2 PM. I will still shop direct tires however I do hope they learn something from this debacle. read more

I came in today hoping to get a tire patched, after arriving at the airport and finding a flat tire with a nail in it. It ended up not being fixable, and I needed a new tire. They actually recommended that all of them be replaced, but they didn't push me to make the big purchase today. I went ahead and got all 4 tires replaced to be on the safe side with this winter weather. David was amazing!!! He really helped me out of a pickle. It only took me about 30 mins from paying to my tires being done. I'm a nurse and because of David's compassion and expertise, I was able to get home in enough time to get some sleep before my night shift at work. My day really took a nose dive when I discovered my flat tire, but because of the kindness of David and the stranger that helped me change my tire on the side of the road, I headed home in a great mood. Emilio was awesome! Came in because I had a flat tire on my Audi and he checked it out to see if it was fixable. He also checked to see if I needed to buy a full set of new tires, but since my car barely had 5k miles on it, he confidently assured me there was no need to buy a full set. Saved me like $600! He also demonstrated his competent knowledge by asking me stuff like if the tires were run-flat, original stock, etc. Loved it, I felt like I was being taken cared of so well. He was also able to order my original stock tire and have it delivered the next day, whereas if I had bought it online, it woulda taken 3-5 business days.
