I had two great experiences: 1) Back in March, I went to get my rear lights changed because I got referred to go to them and luckily one of the mechanics took my car in right away and got them changed-- took them less than 15 minutes. 2) In June I was slightly overdo for an oil change and called the store to see if there were any availability for my car to be serviced and was immediately able to accommodate me. I dropped my car and while I was there, one of the staff members showed me what needed to be changed and was very honest with me. Took them less than an hour to compete but didn't get informed until an hour later (not a biggie at all because it happens). I only got charged for what I needed serviced. What I loved was that they were very honest and I appreciated that they showed me what needed to be changed and even showed how you can determine if certain things needed to be changed. And, it was convenient as well as they're near my job. I wish I remembered the staff members that took care of my car but they were phenomenal and made me feel welcomed! read more

I got an oil service done at GM Center #981 and the technician proceeded to empty out the majority of my transmission fluid and added new oil on top of the existing oil in my system. My car was not running properly and I ended up having to take it into my Dealership Service center and it cost me $400.00 to get it repaired and get tot he heart of what happened. I went to Center #981 and filed a formal compliant. They shared someone would call me but that never happened and I they are not taking responsibility. Never take your car here. However this morning on my way into work (not feeling well and first day back from vacation) I had to stop for an oil change. Chose a new location right next to my office. Received the same great service but also something extra. Not sure if they saw I was a little ragged this morning or if they just chose to be extra kind, but I got in my car after paying and there was a red rose on my dash. I am a recent former employee of this location i resigned due to getting a new job that would help support my family. A week after I resigned I received a nasty text from the store manager Al calling me a bunch of nasty words. In my opinion it was very unprofessional and not ok. He is also rude with customers and other employees. I sent a screen shot to the DM to handle the situation unclear of the outcome but I would like to see him get the same discipline as any other employee that would be that offensive. I also have yet to receive my last 2 paychecks. I informed the store manager that my app to clock in and out was not working but my hours had been in the system they use for all work orders. I have also tried contacting their payroll department and corporate offices and was told that HR would contact me that was 3 days ago and I have not heard anything and I still have yet to see my wages. I went here on Friday, July 22 at 2:45pm. Each bay had a car in it and there were 4 cars ahead of me. They said it would be about an hour. Since my oil light was on I decided I better wait. After 30 minutes, not one car had left or entered a bay, nor had a single employee been out to talk to anyone in the waiting area. Not sure what the heck they were doing but I decided to wait no longer. Luckily I was not blocked in so I was able to hop in my car and leave. I went to the Grease Monkey at 1527 Peoria St, Aurora, CO 80010. These guys are great!! Both bays were occupied with one car ahead of me and we were all finished and on our way within 25 minutes. We were driving across the country from Florida to California and needed an oil change in Denver. I almost always do all of my own car maintenance after a few bad experiences in the past. The oil change was done quickly and I was able to use an early bird coupon that was on their website. I wish I had remembered to ask them to not bother pulling out my cabin air filter or engine air filter. Those are easy things I can replace myself and not overpay for the parts. After the oil change, I checked that they re-installed the two filters properly. The cabin air filter was re-inserted in the wrong orientation so that air could go past it with out being filtered. The engine air filter was re-installed correctly, but they lost one of the two metal latches that holds the two halves of the air box together. :( The next day on the highway, I noticed that the car sounded different and seemed to have less power. At first I thought it was just the elevation change since I've never driven in Colorado before. I checked the oil level and sure enough, they had overfilled it by about a quart! So I had to go through the trouble of draining out some of the oil, checking the dipstick, draining some more, checking the dipstick again, etc. Once the oil was at the correct level on the dipstick, the engine sounded and felt normal again. I would have been better off waiting another 1,000 miles to change the oil myself when we got home. I just hope there wasn't any damage done by driving 500 miles with too much oil in the engine. On the positive side, the guys who work here are very nice and the operation seems to operate smoothly. I would just make sure that you verify that they put in the correct amount of oil for your engine. And also ask them to not touch your cabin and engine air filters if you take care of those yourself. I have a 2010 Toyota Corolla with the standard 1.8L I4 engine. It is one of the most popular cars in the USA. So I was surprised that they overfilled it. Well I tried to have my problem resolved for 2 weeks now with this place. Let's start with my beginning experience. I had my car towed (on a Thursday) here for starting issues and was told it wouldn't be till Monday till they would be able to look at it. Monday I called multiple times and received no answer. Next day I did the same. Calling multiple times with no answer. So by Wednesday I Uber myself there to be greeted by an employee who did not even try to look at my car and said I would have to wait till tomorrow and he walked away. That day I called Grease Monkey intl to see what I can get done. 30mins later I get a called saying that the battery in my car was changed and it started and I can come pick it up. Received no information on what happened received no diagnostic papers. I think nothing of it I just need my car back. I pay 186 dollars for this battery change. After paying I crank my car and it did crank but there was suspicious noise. I didn't think much of it and drove off. 2 mins later my car is stuck in the middle of the road. I call them back they said to leave it where it was and they would come look at it tomorrow. Mr.Allen was helpful he came to look and referred me to someone who could do a full diagnostic. Come to realize it wasn't a battery issue it was an issue with my engine. So I realize I don't need this battery, so I want a refund. After 2 weeks of trying to refund this battery I was getting no info so again I had to go through Grease Monkey intl customer service just to speaks with the Market Manager. The market manager says there's nothing he can do because I drove off the lot with the battery. Even though I'm sure the battery was never the problem. I never heard of service like this in my life. They obviously did not diagnose my car correctly and took my money. I have been so patient and so understanding with the people here but obviously I just got played. Now I have a battery sitting in my apartment with no car to use it with. Sucks because I'm a good person and they treated me like shit the whole time and I said nothing. And I give them a chance to make it right . And I understand why they can't refund the battery but also I went to professionals to get help (besides Mr.Allen) there was none.
