Tires. I have the WORST luck with flats! At one point, I seriously had a wood chip, I'm going to repeat that: a freaking WOOD CHIP puncture the tire on one of my old vehicles. Safe to say I've come here to discount tire my share of times. The staff is always very friendly and informative. Yes, it can seem like they are trying to up-sell you... but they are keeping yours and your vehicles well being in mind. Plus, let's be real, they are sales people. The cost is reasonable. After all, they are called Discount Tire. They offer in store financing and even will give tread credit on tires that you previously purchased through them. Neat! The location is convenient for me since I live East of the airport. It's always clean, which I typically don't expect from a tire/vehicle place. This Discount Tire location def gets the job done in a manner less unpleasant than most. I'll be back for my inevitable future tire needs! read more

Everyone remembers the nostalgic Discount Tire commercial with the old lady in her dress and flower sun hat tossing a tire through a business window. That window shattered to pieces! If you come to this location, you'll never want to toss your tire through their window because they are too friendly. I have been to many Discount Tire stores in my time for new tires, tire rotations, and tire repairs. In my experience the visits have all been the same as the company maintains pretty high standards. In the last 13 years I have yet to have a bad experience and this location kept the rising trend. Called the day prior and gave them my information for a simple mount and balance. Asked if there were any time I can set an appointment for, but no times were available. Rep then told me to leave the car there with the keys and they'll be able work on the vehicle while I was at work. Dropped car off with keys. Got off work and absolutely zero work was done. Rep tells me now all they had were my keys and no paperwork. 1. Work was never done so wasted time in the lobby. 2. Never told me anything about paperwork was needed with my keys. I am not a first time customer either. My information is saved to their database. This is not my preferred location as well. Let's see how much time is wasted from "next" to actual completion. Updated Review: Took an hour for completion. In that hour, I wrote the above review so it was obvious I was not happy. Jaymes (sp?) resolved the situation and was able to cover the charges. As we all know time is very valuable, but in that situation they resolved the issue and kept a customer instead of losing one. I usually never write reviews for good places, but they still receive my business so bad reviews would be the end of it. read more

Let me start with....when I go to a new business I look for something to complain about. I entered Discount Tire with my list of complaints ready at hand. When I arrived the store was jam packed....but the desk personnel worked quickly to keep the foot traffic moving. I was greeted in less than 5 minutes after entering. I explained my problem and was told my repairs would start in 45 minutes to a hour. 35 minutes later the repairs were started. The technician working on my car had no idea I was watching and ready to complain about anything and everything. Without going into great detail I couldn't find any problems or shortcuts that he took. In Fact he serviced my car with a degree of professionalism and speed that I was very happy with. Next, the car was done in about 46 minutes. So now I'm prepared for a bill of about 50 dollars..... and for the task at hand if it were 50 dollars I would have paid it without complaint just for the speed and care they took. BUT WAIT....I cant possibly get out of here without finding something to complain about......Much to my surprize...the repair and EXPERT service.....were free. So now i have nothing to complain about....wait yes I do..... I would like to give them 6 stars for their OUTSTANDING service....but I can't. Rarely do I recommend a business without any reservations like I will today...... Love the GVR location...I blew a tire, it was late in the day on a Saturday, I called to see if they had my tire available and they did, they had one. It was 4:30 and they closed at 5, the manager said he would wait and the team totally took care of me, they were waiting for me when I limped the car in (run flat tires), so can drive up to 50 miles if a tire is punctured. Unbelievable customer service, I pulled in their lot at 4:50pm and I was out by 5:15pm, I was so thankful and so appreciative as my husband was leaving town the next day and we had plans that same night at Red Rocks to watch my sons band play...Discount Tire saved the day and I will forever be grateful! read more

We waited for my car to get its tires rotated and the process has never been easier, thanks to Discount Tires. The people are extremely friendly and Jeffrey was the main guy to help us. There is an illusion that the lines will keep you waiting for a while, upon walking in, but you actually see that this particular location is not going to lack great service, and you'll be assisted in no time. Jeffrey went ahead and checked for my vehicles' tire air pressure and confirmed that my tires are still in the green section. He used a thread depth to see how low the air was. Discount Tire just opened this shop on Tower Road, so I do not know the address. But, I can highly recommend them for service. Why do I make this recommendation, I will tell you. I had a slow leak in one of my tires and after adding air for three weeks, I decided to drop by the new Discount Tire and have it looked at. It was 5:40pm and I was not sure how late they were open. I parked and went in to DT where the Manager immediately asked how they could help. I explained the problem and he and I went out to the parking lot to look at the tire. He noticed a screw in the tire that was the cause of the problem. We went back in and I filled out some paperwork. I was not sure at this point if it could be fixed or if I would be given some option like buying two new tires (which I did not, I felt, was in need of). The technician came in, got my keys and drove my vehicle into the shop. At that point I overheard the manager state to another customer that they closed at 6pm, about 12 minutes away. The tech. removed the tire, examined it, took it to the machine that removed the tire from the wheel, removed the tire, and again inspected it. He then took the tire to another area where he removed the screw and repaired the hole. He then inspected the tire again and put it back on the wheel. From there he balanced the tire, put it back on the vehicle, checked all the tires and made them tight with a torque wrench. It was now a few minutes after 6pm. i was anticipating a bill of probably $25 -35, which was OK as they did a good job with little time left in the workday. Instead the tech. walked in with the paperwork and said to me.."no charge". I said "WHAT". He replied there was no charge to fix the tire, just remember Discount Tire when I needed tires. Well, I certainly will do that. What a surprise, something, a service for NOTHING. Talk about customer service, and I was not even a customer at the time, but I probably will be at the end of the summer when I will need some new tires. They broke a wheel stud off this last visit while taking off the lug nuts and simply handed me a voucher to get it repaired free at the place next door, no questions asked. AWESOME!!! Considering their location, the staff here work pretty well. They're about average when it comes to speed, normal 1-2 hour or so wait time for anything. I have come here for mostly punctured tires and have not had any or seen any complaints. read more

WOW. This place is AWESOME. Outstanding customer service, clean, prompt, FRIENDLY...I am blown away by my experience here today. Zac is the Assistant Manager who helped me. He could not have been friendlier. I had a flat tire and AAA had come out to put on my spare. I am living away from my husband and kids on a temporary job and was concerned dealing with it on my own. These guys greeted me promptly and took care of everything right away. They explained the process and got me right in. I am currently waiting for the repair to be done and my tire put back on. The waiting area is SO clean, tidy and comfortable. The guys who work here are all well groomed, in clean, attractive uniforms and honestly the kindness they have shown me is so rare in customer service these days. Traveling to TX and had a blow out on the toll road by the airport. My husband put the spare on while I called the nearest Discount Tire. Got a flat tire today on my 2014 Sub, and went to fix it. Found out that the last time I brought it into discount tire (the one off of Arapahoe rd) they stripped a couple of bolts, so it was difficult to remove, and then I could not even put two of them back on. I quickly drove my car (with 3/5) bolts attached to the Discount Tire in Aurora. Now my original thought was "Crap!" I'll have to pay for a new tire and they're going to screw me over on replacing the stripped bolts even though it's their fault. I got there right before close, and Cesar was the manager that helped me with my car. Not only did I not have to pay for the replacement tire (basically just taxes), but they were very ethical, and I did not have to pay to replace the bolts. Also, since my car had to be held overnight because the shop next door that will replace my bolts in the am closed earlier, Cesar also let me know that they would help take care of my Ubers. I already really liked Discount Tire for their product, but now I'm a customer for life because of how they handled adversity and for the excellent service they provide. I got a flat, what most drivers dread. Luckily it was down the street from this location. The tire rep helped me understand why my tires had been wearing out in a weird way and was very straight forward and honest. I was able to get 2 new tires even though they were busy and it was an hour before close. I returned the next week to replace the other 2 tires and received the same exceptional service. Came in to get new tires, great service by James, super friendly, knowledgeable, and honest. I purchased 4 new tires. Our family has been coming to discount tire for years. You can go to any discount tire, any time and see all the service techs working extremely hard. The are usually pretty busy which is a good indication that they provide great services. It only took about an hour total which is awesome if you have a busy schedule. Only negative was there was some dirt on my seat when my tire change was complete which came off with a towel and water. I was told the installation would take an hour or less At 2:30 my car hasn't been touched so I was pretty sure I wouldn't be getting out of there in less than an hour ... The car goes in a little before 3:00 and they finally finish 3:30 . What bothered me is the sales guy sees me and other customers, some who were there before me and says nothing . He must have walked past us 2 dozen times and not a " sorry for the wait " " we're a little behind today " " it'll just be a little while longer " NOTHING . This has been one of the worst experiences getting tires I have ever had. I had to come in last minute to get a tire replaced here because they didn't have the tire in Longmont. I drove all the way here only to be told that the wait would be almost 3 hours. When I told them that I had driven from Longmont, they sounded apologetic and said that they would make sure to get me in earlier, but they couldn't quote me a time. They said it definitely wouldn't take the entire wait time, though. I don't have another car, so I walked to a coffee shop and waited for the call. About an hour and a half later I called to check on the progress of the car, and they told me it would be AT LEAST another hour and a half, making that longer than the original quoted time, not shorter. He apologized and said I would be the very next car. It would be ready in 45 minutes, he said. 40 minutes later I called and got told the same thing. So sorry. You'll be the next car. We promise. It's now been 2 and a half hours and I'm still waiting. It's dinner time, and I have no food, and I have no idea when my car will be done. If the wait is going to be long, just apologize and one it. Don't lie and strand people without their vehicles. read more
