As a single female who travels alone I rely on those who service my vehicles or provide me parts to do their job correctly. New Jeep Renegades do not come with spare tires. I was planning a 10 day back country trip and wanted to have a full size spare. So I called Discount Tire to order a full size spare set up. Placed the order (they verified my car and equipment needs) and scheduled pick up. Arrived and they had given my order to someone else. So had to re-order and wait yet again for a set up. Pick that one up and the guy rolls it out to my car. And then said oh wait I need to grab you lug nuts. He goes away for about 15 minutes comes back and says no never mind yours will work. I verified this twice with him and that I had the right socket for changing. Well fast forward to day 8 of my trip when I get a nail in my back tire. Go to replace with this newly purchased spare and guess what? My lug nuts do not work with this spare. So now I have a useless spare and a flat tire in the middle of nowhere. Now I was lucky I was prepared and had a compressor and could limp myself to a tire repair shop (the only one in 191 miles so I got LUCKY) and they replaced my tire. I cannot recommend a shop that does not provide the right equipment for the job. My last days of vacation were stress filled as I tried to find a place to get my tire replaced when I had a perfectly good tire in my Jeep. read more

This place is ridiculous. I have purchased many a tires from there and have always had great customer service. I have had some issues that were always quickly resolved. The only thing I would caution against is make sure you shop around because their prices now a days tend to be on the higher end when comparing to other stores but they price match so all is good. I go here and S&S Tire as my only tire providers. Never any issues they don't quickly resolve and if you make an appointment, be prepared to get in and out so quick your head will spin. Awesome guys here! I bought new tires in Yuma and was driving back to Phoenix, got a flat on one of the new tires less that 4 hours later on the 85. Finally got my spare on in the °115 degree heat on the side of the road and went straight here. Alex and Zach took great care of me and of course took care of the problem. Helped me cool off too! Went in to get my tire checked and it needed to be replaced. I had a warranty on my tires which were all valid. Having to leave out of town the next day they said they didn't have a tire and for me to just drive out of state with a plug coming out of my tire and it was fine since I had just drove in like this it would be fine. I don't think driving from Arizona to Los Angeles would be fine with a tire like that. Brought in my airstream to get 2 factory installed tires replaced. When I went outside with the rep to view the tires I specifically gave him instruction on where to place the hydraulic lift as placing it anywhere else other than the marked spot will damage the airstream. He told me that the standard procedure was to lift it from the axle and asked me which method I preferred. I said I prefer the specific way I told him to do and he said he will make a note of the instruction. We went back in and after he took my key I reminded him again. An hour later I got my key back did a quick check on the tires and drove it back to storage. After parking it and before I left I looked under the trailer and behold, the axle was bent right in the middle from what clearly looked like an attempt to lift it with a jack and the axle could not withstand the weight of the trailer and bent like an upside down V. I took the trailer back, the sales rep came out to see it and blatantly denied any wrong doing. He told me that it must have came out of the factory that way, WHAT ??. He also asked me if I wanted to file their insurance claim but that the claim would most likey get denied, WHAT ?? but I did it anyway. read more

My TPS idiot light came on. So I go to the Discount tire on Bell Rd in Surprise, AZ. He was not very customer friendly. Got there before they closed. One car ahead of me. No one behind me. He refuse to check my tires. Said he turn the machine off. But he was filling the person in front of me. So Whatever. I had to go to work the next day 50 min drive there and on my way home I see a Discount tire on Watson Rd. There was a line but I waited. The guy was very nice. Checked my tires. Explained to me about why my tires were actually low. Excellent customer service. Thank you. read more

this location wasnt listed yet so i added it. Just got new tires for my car and had a great experience. Most impressive is the "hustle" these guys have. I mean Everyone there is running around trying to get the customer taken care of. Had a bit of a wait but that was ok because they were real busy and obviously working as hard as possible. They had plenty of staff on hand also. I went in with a tire size but they explained it wasnt the safest option due to load rating. Im not new to cars but having them explain WHY the cheapest tire wouldnt work was a ton better than just saying Nope wont work. I will be returning for my next set of tires. Thanks Guys! read more

Extremely good experience this week. Went to Fletchers on Watson to get an opinion on some boat trailer tires. Asst Mgr was so rude I just left. Went into Discount Tire on Watson and I was the 3rd person in line yet they all said hello and one of them offered me a water. When it was my turn they full explained my boat tire situation and completed the work as promised in a timely manner. Great job guys. read more

I've been going to this Discount Tire for years and have been pleased. They can usually meet or beat other prices (if you shop around) and the associates have always been friendly. Each time I visit this location everyone is working, which I appreciate because their hard work saves customers time. I've purchased 5 sets of new tires for various household vehicles in the last 18 months and if there have been any issues they've always been taken care of rather easily. (I always buy the warranty certificates.) Today my son had an issue that was not covered by the certificate and I was rather frustrated. I immediately felt that I was going to have to dispute this with them, but they tried to work with me right away. They provided solutions and tried to accommodate my son's budget; overall they were very fair. I truly appreciated the service they provided us and although I'd received good service from them before, today's experience with Jerry made me even more loyal. I will continue to use them and recommend them to others. read more

I went in one day for an estimate. Got help right away! The guy who helped me came right out to look at all tires and measured them with a gauge. Wasn't sure how old the tires were; wasn't my vehicle and the owner had no idea. All I knew is that one looked very worn and unsafe. The guy told me the year that each of the tires came out (which made sense for the most ware on the oldest tire). He gave me a quote for the one tire (since the other's had much more milage left on them). I went to 3 other businesses to get estimates. Only one place was slightly less expense (maybe $10)....but they didn't offer the same service as Discount Tire. The two other places were set on trying to sell me a set of tires rather than only replace the one needing replaced. The price for an individual tire ranged from $60-$100 more! AND, not one of the other 3 business took a gauge out to measure the tread. Only Discount Tire did that. I called the day before to make sure they would have the tire in. Set up an appointment. They told me it might be 45 min. We were only gone 30 min and it was out front ready to go when we got back. Paid exactly what they quoted me. Couldn't be happier! read more

My trailer blew a tire on the 10 freeway when it was 118 degrees outside! Thankfully, I saw their store as soon as I got off the freeway. Evan was SO helpful, and gave me great advice for the rest of my trailer tires. He cheerfully checked the air pressure in the rest of the tires, even thought it was scorching!!! I was back on the road quickly, and am so grateful that they were able to help me when I needed it. read more

There aren't enough stars to rate how AWESOME this place was!! I went in expecting to flip a giant bill for a new tire, but they ended up fixing the puncture for FREE!! Then I learned they do tire rotations for FREE as well!! It's great to have a place that offers these services at no charge especially when so much wear and tear is put on your tires with the harsh heat!! read more

Worst Discount tire. They don't have the tools to check air pressure on duallys (reverse chuck) so they have to take the tires off the vehicle to check air pressure. Apparently this is standard operating procedure which wastes a hell of a lot of time. Never go back.No I did not get pressure checked. read more

Had a screw in tire, called they were able to fit us in within 20 minutes. Fixed the tire, no charge. Excellent service. Would highly recommend them for tires, any related service. This is how you treat a customer, even though the tires were not purchased at Discount but competitor. read more

Had 4 new Michelins put on for close to $1000 and was assured after filling out the paperwork that I would receive a rebate for $125 but here it is 6 months later and still no rebate.If they advertise this they should stick to it. read more

After having some bad past experiences with chain/commercial retail places that handle vehicle maintenance and repair I typically ask my dad to take my car in for an issues I have. However, I had a problem with a tire that required immediate attention and he wasn't available to take it for me. My parents take their cars to this Discount Tire location for tire maintenance and purchases and my dad insisted they would be great and not try to up sell to me. He was right. I made an appointment online the night before, when I got there Andy saw me right away, concurred with what my dad suspected was wrong with my tire and let me know my options. Even telling me the tire with the problem should have a warranty with who I purchased it from and I could check with them to have it replaced. I greatly appreciated the honesty of them suggesting that. It showed me it truly was about customer service here and not about getting a sale like the other place I had been. I didn't want to deal with that other company and told them I wanted to get two new tires here instead. I was shown many options and pricing, and I wasn't pressured in any way, shape or form. I knew exactly what I was getting and the cost breakdown. While waiting for my car to be done I watched how several of the employees (Andy, Eric, Jerry) interacted with other customers and they were ALL polite, helpful, and efficient. Making sure no one waited to long without being addressed and let them know they would be right with them if they were helping another customer. I will admit it was kind of fun being able to watch my car being worked on as well from the window they have in the lobby. I will definitely be getting my next set of tires here and will be recommending them to friends and family. read more
