I have been getting my tires here for over 7 years now and am always happy with their expertise and honesty. I find that the best prices with rebates are around major holidays (Memorial Day, July 4, Labor Day, etc). I do have the credit card and that helps with the rebates and tire protection. I have always picked Michelin tires and there was always a rebate to save some money. During my last tire rotation, the mechanic found that my wheel was damaged and helped replace it and get my car running smoothly again. Fast, friendly, and economical. I bought my tires here a while back just because they had the type I wanted for the cheapest price around. They did a great job and were super fast. I recently picked up a nail or something and had a flat. I changed it out for the spare and rode on that for like 2 weeks because I was dreading the hassle of taking it in to get it fixed. My fears were unfounded though because I walked in without an appointment and they fixed it in like 20 mins for free, I didn't even finish my free bottle of water. I do wish they offered more services such as oil changes or alignments because I would get my tires rotated with them but I like to do that when I get an oil change. I purchased a tire elsewhere during the summer of '20. It slowly leaked and I returned to the place of purchase three times trying to get it fixed without success. I brought it to this Discount Tire location and they did what was necessary to make the repair. They took me earlier than my appointment and finished the job quickly. A rusty nail mysteriously made its way into one of my tires this afternoon, and it was recommended that I head to this Discount Tire to have it replaced. I worked with Jordin, who helped me decide on the best pair of replacement tires for my budget. I selected a brand that they said they had in stock, and left to grab dinner near by. When I returned near closing time, Jordin came out to let me know they were wrong about their inventory, and gave me the next best brand (which were more expensive) and they absorbed the cost. We moved here this week from Texas and our Suburu Outback had a slow leak that I assumed was from a nail. I took it to Discount Tire to have it repaired. I was greeted in the parking lot before I even had to enter the building. They removed a 2 inch screw and fixed the tire very quickly. When I got my wallet out to pay, I was told there was no charge. I was surprised because these were original equipment tires with only 17K miles on them, not tires purchased from Discount Tire. Ive been driving here all the way from fort bragg for a while, and had this crazy idea that my customer loyalty should be rewarded. That was met with many snide remarks. I wad told i would get turn in credit for my 2 good tires, that turned out to be a lie, i was also told id get a free visa gift card with my purchase, also a lie! To top it off, i was told that i would it would be an hour, i come back an hour and a half later, and my car has not even been started on because they could not find the bolt key which i told them was in the center console! This is why i let the turn in credit thing go, i was in a hurry and they took forever... On top of all this, the guy gave me some BS about me absolutely having to buy 4 new tires because the 90% tread might spin at a different rate than the 100% tread and this would ruin my transmission! After being laughed at by several mechanics ive told about this, i know that was BS! The tires would have to be completely different sizes, not treadware, otherwise AWD cars with the tires not aired to the same pressure would be exploding 24/7... (Wheel scuffed) I visited the store today to have a tire that I'd noticed was low after trying to fill it twice in the past two weeks looked at on my Audi. I've never felt entrapped in my life, once they had the tire off, refusing to put it back on because they said it would endanger their entire staff. I was told I basically needed to buy a new tire to leave. Finally after reiterating I was not going to spend a dime today, they finally agreed to put my spare on. Finally arriving home I inspected the wheel now in my trunk only to find a nice scuff where the wheel meets the tire. Throughout the entire experience the staff member I was dealing with was rude with me when I told him I wasn't going to spend any money today. We have purchased many sets of tires from this store. They replace the tires quickly, have never seemed to act suspicious with us, and always give the lowest price on the market. Now I must say I never go alone, so my husband does the dealings. Over the past few years I've had two flat tires that needed patching. When I went to Discount Tire, both times they patched them amazingly fast and refused payment, saying "next time you need new tires just think of us." So when I needed a new set of 4 tires, Discount Tire was first on my list. I was happy to see that the tires I wanted were in stock there, and the price was comparable to other discount chains. I went in, dropped my car off, and they called me within a few hours to let me know everything was all set. The servicemen there are extremely nice and professional. My 2007 Ford Escape was giving me a "tire sensor fault" light and I asked the firestone dealer near my house how much it would cost to fix when I brought the car in for it's regular oil change. They quoted me $40.00 for a "diagnostic" check, then $90.00 to $140.00 for the part and $40.00 to put it on. Having gotten some pretty outrageous quotes from firestone before, my radar went up and I decided to call around. My mother in law had a positive experience with Discount Tire before, so I decided to call them. They quoted me a "free" diagnostic, then about $60.00 or so for the part and $10.00 to put it on. When I got there, the manager Joe Borkowski did the diagnostic test (which took about 60 seconds) and identified which tire was messing up. Something about the test made him scratch his head, so he asked me if I had a couple of minutes and then actually took the tire off the car, broke it down, cleaned the sensor, put the tire back together and back on the car...problem fixed! NO CHARGE! How cool is that? I don't need tires right now, but when I do, Firestone can kiss my butt! read more

Discount Tires came through in a pinch when I really needed a good tire store. I had a bad slash in my tires making my car dangerous to drive. They were able to call and get the tire that I needed and keep my car overnight so they could work on it in the morning. Got a call at 8AM the next morning saying my car was ready for pick up. And the best part was that the total price with labor was less than the quote from the dealership...and that quote did not include labor. What a deal and great service! read more

This is a nice @DiscountTire place to come to. I have been here for a couple of times to get my tires rotated and balanced. The waiting room is nice and clean, with a decent view if you want to watch your car as they work on it. In the event that you don't feel like waiting while they work on your car, there are several food places in the parking lot, or a grocery store so you can get your shopping done while you wait. That way you don't feel like you are being trapped, and your visit can seem more productive. I have never bought wheels, aka rims, from Discount Tire, only tires. They do have nice customer support at this location. The only thing I wonder about Discount Tire is, why don't you do alignments as well? That just means that after the customer gets a set of tires they have to go to Sears, or some other place to get one. I had driven by this Discount Tire a million times, but usually opted for local used tire establishments whenever I needed a single tire. When I was in a position to have to replace all four of my car's tires last year in order to pass inspection, I made a point to try Discount Tire first and am glad I did. As others have mentioned, the employees here are great. When it came to making a decision on which tires to purchase, they were very helpful and not pushy at all. Each time I've been back for the free air pressure and tire rotation that's included with your tire purchase, they get you in and out in no time at all, and once again, are very customer-focused. Their lobby/waiting area is clean and bright (although could use a TV or maybe WiFi access), but you're there such a short time, it's not really a problem. Lastly, you're also given the option to set yourself up to receive notification via e-mail when it's time for your next free air pressure check and tire rotation, which has been very convenient. read more

I asked for higher price one, but the people here told me it's better if I get the similar one as my other tires because I'm only changing one. I stopped by this store to get my usual tire rotation. I did this before work and figured I wouldn't be at the shop more than 20min. An hour and 10minutes later my car was done. The people working there are doing their best and that's why I'm giving them 3 stars. It's got to be hard working with customers with tire orders and complaints then having to go back and change tires at the same time. They really need people in the lobby that just handle customers and let the workers who handle the tires just do that. In the end I had to dock them a star because it's obvious the people buying tires get a higher priority then people coming for rotations or other small things. I understand the system that makes higher revenue items a priority but it makes other customers feel put out. read more

Multiple repeat customer to discount tire and brought my new Toyota truck in for a quick balance and was told because I didn't buy those tires on my new truck from them they would charge to just do a balance. Hmmmm very smooth discount tire very smooth. Even after the gentleman saw on my account I had just last month bought brand new tires for my Nissan Leaf and multiple other vehicles!
