After a very stressful time of having to be towed to other nearby auto shops that closed down due to Labor Day, I tried a tire shop that my Airbnb guest recommended. He told me that the owner, Tony, is a mechanic as well. Tony was my last hope of getting out of Yucca Valley to get home and he went above and beyond to help my car get back on the road! He knows his stuff and made it easy to know what services were needed and why. He added coolant and oil to my car and changed a hose that was very inflated and gave me a reasonable price. His wife who works in the office was so nice to us and made sure we were hydrated by giving us water! Without Tony I would be stuck in Yucca Valley and I'm grateful he helped me out!

They quickly found a nail in my sidewall (definitely not what I wanted to hear!). Because of the holiday, they wouldn't normally have been able to get a replacement tire until Monday. Instead, their repair technician offered to come in on his day off so I could have a new tire the very next day and stay on schedule for our move. To top it off, the tire was covered under warranty, so I only paid $25. Their honesty, transparency, and willingness to go above and beyond for their customers is rare these days. I can't thank the team enough for taking one less worry off my plate during such a stressful time. I highly recommend Fred's Tires!

Topped the Porsche with air but immediately pressure started to drop, and drop fast. We hit two local tire shops and Jr from fast tire and auto pointed us in the direction of Em's. Seems we did a good job of running over a nail on the inner sidewall that could not be patched and we needed a whole new tire. 21 inch is not an easy find - but Andrew, Jr, and Jim's had a couple in the back to get us on our way There is something to be said about good customer service. We had to drives 18 miles to get to Em's and were concerned we wouldn't make it. Andrew kindly ensured they would stay open for us as we were dangerously close to arriving after 5 when the shop was slated to close Plus we had to top off with air twice along the way Not only were they able to get us on our way. Jim showed me around the shop and walked me through the process. They took extra care pooping off the old tire of the wheel to not scratch the rims and Jr bagged up the old tire so it wouldn't get the inside of the car dirty. Never in my life have I seen that. They even sent us on our way with some bottled water Right now I will attest no matter what type of car you have if you get stuck anywhere near Joshua Tree Em's will get you fixed and on your way. Hopefully we don't need them again but if we ever find ourselves in that situation we know where to go

Went in on Thurs to see if they had room to take me (they did but then I realized I couldn't be stranded so wanted to make arrangements with a friend). So I made an appt for next day. I showed up on time the next day and Gabriel did my paperwork and got me in right away. Daniel helped me with the issue of the suspected tire BUT also found another tire had a huge nail in it and he took care of that tire too. Both could be patched and that saved me a tremendous amount of money! He also checked the pressure on all my tires and adjusted everything perfectly.
