I truly cannot say enough amazing things about this tire shop! Jose is hands down one of the kindest, most honest people I've ever met. From the moment I walked in, he and his entire staff treated me with professionalism, respect, and genuine care. You don't find businesses like this very often anymore. After being told by Mountain View Tires in (Palm Desert), that I needed to replace my tire sensor for $165.00, something just didn't feel right. Before agreeing to it, I called Jose at (American Tire Depot) and brought my car to his shop for a second opinion. Thank goodness I did. Not only was the sensor perfectly fine, but the issue was just a small component that needed to be replaced. And here's the part that truly blew me away -- he fixed it at NO CHARGE. No upselling. No scare tactics. No inflated invoice. Just honesty and integrity. In a world where it's so easy to take advantage of people who don't know cars inside and out, Jose chose to do the right thing. Hubby and I realized we had a nail in our tire on our way to Palm Springs for our anniversary. We stopped at a gas station and filled up with air until we were able to get cell service and find a tire shop. I called up Pete and let him know we were about 40 mins away. He scheduled an appointment for us and was ready for us when we arrived. They took our car right back and Jeremy had our tire plugged and back out to us in 20 minutes! I messed my tire up pretty bad while on a trip out to Joshua Tree, about 3 years ago now. I meant to leave a review at the time but it slipped my mind. Gary was an incredible help to me and I'll never forget the kindness I was shown, as a 19 year old girl 100 miles from home. The team was able to get me a few new tires, replaced my tie rod and wheel, and worked with me to ensure the rest of my vehicle was in good shape to make it back home aside from the main issue. I got my car stuck in the sand twice in 48 hrs in front of my airbnb. The blessing in disguise was that my tow truck driver took a closer look at my tires and advised getting new ones. Jose helped me---upselling where needed (insurance for my run flats and also letting me know of the 5k free checkup). Also got a full alignment. These guys really saved me. Jose was unbelievably helpful and friendly. I was passing through the area with my travel trailer and realized my oil life was at 2% and IMMEDIATELY needed an oil change. I called many places on yelp but as it was Sunday in an area of small towns they were the only ones open. I called to see if I could get an appointment and they told me to come right in and they'd get me taken care of. When I got there they checked me in (with no appointment) and got right to work. I was there less than 30 min. When it came time to pay I asked if they did a discount for military. Jose let me know, yes, absolutely we do BUT we have another promotion going on that is a better deal. Military is 5% but the deal is 15%, I'll hook you up. That was much appreciated. He could have just done the 5% and cashed me out. That's for sliding me in, getting me in and out, and giving me a fair price that came out under $100 for a full synthetic service.
