They quickly found a nail in my sidewall (definitely not what I wanted to hear!). Because of the holiday, they wouldn't normally have been able to get a replacement tire until Monday. Instead, their repair technician offered to come in on his day off so I could have a new tire the very next day and stay on schedule for our move. To top it off, the tire was covered under warranty, so I only paid $25. Their honesty, transparency, and willingness to go above and beyond for their customers is rare these days. Went in on Thurs to see if they had room to take me (they did but then I realized I couldn't be stranded so wanted to make arrangements with a friend). So I made an appt for next day. I showed up on time the next day and Gabriel did my paperwork and got me in right away. Daniel helped me with the issue of the suspected tire BUT also found another tire had a huge nail in it and he took care of that tire too. Both could be patched and that saved me a tremendous amount of money! He also checked the pressure on all my tires and adjusted everything perfectly. I expected the worst and truly left in the best mood! Everyone was very nice and the employees really seemed to take pride in what they do. It was a nice environment to be around. Highly recommend!!

Boyfriend and I were traveling the scenic route back from Palm Springs to Vegas. Topped of the…read moretank in 29 Palms and immediately the car's low tire pressure warning went off. Topped the Porsche with air but immediately pressure started to drop, and drop fast. We hit two local tire shops and Jr from fast tire and auto pointed us in the direction of Em's. Seems we did a good job of running over a nail on the inner sidewall that could not be patched and we needed a whole new tire. 21 inch is not an easy find - but Andrew, Jr, and Jim's had a couple in the back to get us on our way There is something to be said about good customer service. We had to drives 18 miles to get to Em's and were concerned we wouldn't make it. Andrew kindly ensured they would stay open for us as we were dangerously close to arriving after 5 when the shop was slated to close Plus we had to top off with air twice along the way Not only were they able to get us on our way. Jim showed me around the shop and walked me through the process. They took extra care pooping off the old tire of the wheel to not scratch the rims and Jr bagged up the old tire so it wouldn't get the inside of the car dirty. Never in my life have I seen that. They even sent us on our way with some bottled water Right now I will attest no matter what type of car you have if you get stuck anywhere near Joshua Tree Em's will get you fixed and on your way. Hopefully we don't need them again but if we ever find ourselves in that situation we know where to go

They are terrible, truly screwed me over and almost had to take them to small claims court. I've…read morenever dealt with a worse mechanic shop. Spent $1600 on repairs to my car a year ago and already everything they've done has had to be replaced. They put in front struts, one of which quickly went bad. Had 2 separate mechanics tell me the strut needed replacement after Liberty had just put new ones in, so I returned to Liberty since they were still under warranty. Bijan refused, saying there was nothing wrong with it, even though you could literally see the bolt being pulled through the metal. After much argument, I had to pay out of pocket for a new one and had to go directly through O'Reillys where the part had been purchased from to get reimbursement, where I also found out that Liberty had charged me almost 2x as much for the struts as he had purchased them for. I later took the old strut back to show Bijan and he admitted it was bad. They claim they believe in preventive maintenance but they just want to do a bunch of unnecessary work they can charge you for. A year ago they claimed I needed new rear struts and a new axle because the the engine was resting on the broken axle, sagging down several inches. A year and several mechanics later, the rear struts are still fine and the axle is fine-the mechanic I had look at it said it has a tiny crack in it but replacing it wouldn't improve the safety or performance of the car, it would be an unnecessary repair. Seriously, avoid this place, they don't honor their warranties, will do unnecessary repairs, overcharge, and all the work they did to my car just needed to be redone by another mechanic.

Dave always has fresh tires and there is always something around to check out and add to the bill while he's changing that worn out carcass off your dirty rim! Super knowledgeable about where to ride in the area and what works but not going to make to give you a hard time for riding 20 year old KX250S!
