This branch is superb! First, I yelped about tires, it gave me several options to choose, but the top most option Yelp gave me was this Discount Tires branch. Read their reviews, clicked their website, searched for the tires I needed. And of course the tires I needed must fit my budget. There were several branded tires that were offering discounts, huge discount. I signed in to get my $80 discount on Yokohama tires that were already on sale. Nevertheless, I called this branch; and the person I spoke to was very polite and helpful. I asked for a quote and asked if I can get the $80 discount being offered by Yokohama. He gave me the $80 discount on my 4 Yokohama tires, plus an extra Military/Veteran discount. Carlos (the rep that I spoke to over the phone) asked me if I want to get an appointment, and I agreed; so he gave me an appointment. Anyway, we just walked in on the same day I spoke to Carlos in to this branch, got in line, and when it was our turn (approximately 7 minutes in line) I told the guy (Saul is his name) that I already made an appointment and I have a record of the tires I needed, and of course the quoted discount amount Carlos gave me. He retrieved my record. The staff in this store are very helpful, polite, friendly, and most of all very transparent and honest. We only waited for a total of 40 minutes (walked-in) and our vehicle is all ready with new sets of tires. There are nearby stores where you can window shop while waiting. Sam Cooper What can I say about the guy let me start with my visit I had a concern about my tire unfortunately it was involved in a minor road accident it caused two minor gashes on the tire radius which one of the techs looked at it and told me the tire was fine just cosmetic after explaining it to me I was ok for the fact that the car is driven by my wife and my child but here comes along Sam Cooper manager and rips the tire piece of the tire and tells me here is all good now I'm upset he didn't even ask to do that so it made it worst now it's esthetic issue at least I can probably put super glue and go on with my day but the fact that he didn't even ask what his intentions were is the disrespect of approaching the situation the way he did. So I told him and express why he did it I ask to make it right he said no he won't replace it because it's cosmetic so now it is cosmetic problem which he didn't have the right to damaged the tire further it's not his and he had no right to make it worse then what it was so I called the cops and I know this is civil issue now but he didn't want to work with me on the tire situation not even a apology he said go ahead I can give you a prorated price on the tire but won't be able to use the warranty replacement remember he is the manager he can make things right on what he did very rude person shouldn't work there with that type of demeanor. I know it's just a tire and I can get another one is just the way he approached the situation and don't care I know writing this wont make a difference on the situation but hopefully someone talks to him such as upper management and changes his attitude on treating people that way karma has a way on getting people that act the way he does if anyone wanting to take their car there please consider other tires shops around the area and hopefully his sells drop we the consumers have the right to be treated respectfully and the only way is by his sells. I already made a complaint to corporate but until a solution or a call back on this concern gets addressed I'm taking him to court for damaging my property he had no right to do so I'm also contacting the better business bureau on this So called cosmetic damage they rather have tire potentially pop then to honor the replacement certificate because when they sell it they tell you road hazards any damages the tire gets replaced corporate greed at it's best to sell you a certificate Please consider thinking it twice on buying certificate because for them this is ok but a nail near the radius of the tire gets replaced or a pop on the road and then your rim will need to be replace read more

Thank you to Alex and Nicholas who helped me today. While traveling for work, I was a few miles from the highway when the front left tire had a signal that the air pressure was low. Made it to the Chevron where nice contractors came and filled my tire with air and told me to put on my hazard lights and go to the Discount Tire close by - as they are honest. And they are so honest! Both Alex and Nicholas let me know if they can patch it there is no need to stress about getting new tires. Alex took the time to explain the tread depth and let me know right now my front were at a 6 and back were 9,8, where replacement is not needed till 4 /5. Also they told me based on their inspection they can put in the plug to keep the tire from leaking and it will last for the life of the tire. When your tire goes flat on the road, it can be such an anxious situation. They assured me I could drive this tire and that the light would resume to normal once I started driving. I am humbled by their kindness and the two contractors at Chevron who directed me to this Discount Tire location. Alex let me know that they would be done by 12 noon, and my wait was barely under the hour. We see a lot of hard things on the news but I want you to know that today people showed me compassion and gave me hope we still have some good souls in this world who are kind and want to help. I don't take it for granted- their time and courtesy and ability to calm the nerves of frazzled people like me who felt so helpless with the tire shenanigans. 5-11-26: when I arrived, I waited patiently for someone to help me. Then, I thought, I can help myself. I've put air in my tires before. About 5-6 minutes later, the manager shows up, yelling at me, "Stop! You cannot do that yourself!" I told him I wanted long enough. He gave me his sob story that he was short three employees and that the trailer was "in." When I proceeded to fill my last tire with air, he walked over and yanked the hose out of my hand. He said I am not supposed to help myself. I wondered, the sign says, Free Air Service," but it doesn't say, "Do not help yourself." He tried to make me feel guilty, by saying, "Well, this is a service we provide!" If you're going to provide a service, make sure you're fully staffed. If you do not want people to help themselves, put up a sign! This guy was a total jerk. I managed 25 bank branches. If he cannot handle one tire store,, he doesn't belong in management! read more

After the tax service, unfortunately after I left discount tires, they had Nails on their parking lot and I got one on my brand new tire. They ended up fixing it, but I believe that management should sweep up whatever nails and items that are around that area so like that, this doesn't happen to future guest. read more

On a Saturday.. Service still FAST! The waiting room was almost full, but there are about 4 additional folding chairs outside to occupy. There are also bar stools with glass window facing the work area. Service has always been excellent. Employees are very knowledgeable and will pretty much tell you and suggest if other services are needed, w/o making it feel like they are pushing. Place is clean. Not sure about the bathroom since I did not personally use it. Went there for balance and tire rotation and service were free. Windshield wiper, if I chose to get it changed, I would have paid $15 for the wipers, service free. Tons of parking. read more

Did not make an appointment. However got here at 7:20am when they open at 8am. I was the first one in line. There were at least 5 people that did not have appointments either. Their cars were completed before mine. Good thing I spoke up and inquired why my car was not even put into the bay. The manager acknowledged that I was right and apologized. Fast service, but attention to detail needs improvement. Came in for a scheduled appointment and check‑in was smooth even with a line. I was seen right on time, and getting four tires installed took about 45 minutes, which was impressively quick. A couple of things to be aware of: the wheels were left with a lot of tire lube residue, so expect to clean that off yourself afterward. More importantly, the tire pressures were not set correctly. I was told all four were set to 42 PSI, but only two were accurate--one was overinflated to 47 PSI and another underinflated to 34 PSI. After driving for a few minutes, the pressures didn't change, confirming they were set incorrectly from the start. They were busy, but proper inflation is essential for safety and should always be checked before handing the car back. Thankfully my car shows individual tire pressures, so I caught it right away. Not sure how they thought selling tires without offering alignments made sense, but it's pretty obvious to me that they need better training when it comes to alignments. 1) we bring our car here cause it has a leak on the tire. The guy shows that the inside tire is worn because of the alignment is off so it needs 2 new front tires. The advisor quotes my wife 2 tires. I ask her "what's the total?" And she said "$600". Me - "Doest that include alignment?" Sales Guy -"no". You seen the tires are worn cause of the alignment, why not upsell and alignment? 2) we add the alignment and 2 tires. I sit there w my wife and watch the guy pull the car into the alignment rack. And I'm like I tell the sales guy "hey, I thought we got 2 tires also? Don't you wanna install those before you do the alignment?" The sales guy "hey Carl (or whatever his name was) this car needs 2 tires first". Somehow Carlos tells the advisor that it doesn't matter if u do the alignment on the worn ass tires or the new tires? A side note, I was a Master Mercedes tech, ASE certified and an alignment tech at Mercedes. Over 14 years of experience. You ALWAYS replace the tires or worn suspension components BEFORE the alignment. These guys needs better training. The kid is like 20 years old and thinks he knows more about alignments than I do, and I can hear him bitching about me telling them to do the tires first. Just do the work junior. read more

Unfortunately, my experience with Nick was not satisfactory. He appears to be quite clueless and unhelpful, and his attitude was not welcoming. What concerns me the most is his poor knowledge about the company's services. He provided me with incorrect information, which caused inconvenience. I was later informed he was the manager. I brought my MX here because I ran into a screw and was hoping they could help me patch it up. They took my car and initially told me that both my rear tires would need to be replaced but I know my husband checked them recently and they still have a lot of life on them. Anyways, they gave me an estimate time of completion of about 2-3hrs? but for some reason they took my car inside the service area early and was able to finish patching up my tire in an hour. I was ready to pay for the service (because other car service companies make me pay for it) but I was surprised when they told me that if they can fix the hole, it's free. Wow! Little disappointed with this visit. Setup an appointment for a tire rotation and alignment at 930am. Got there on time and tech said rotation was not needed and is at 5/32nd all around. I said that's fine Ill just get the alignment done since the vehicle was pulling to the right. Was told there was only 1 car in front and should take an hour to an hour and a half max. Came back at 1045am to check on the status and the car is at the same spot. The tech said it was on its way up now and should take 15 mins. I walked in there today for balancing and rotation of my vehicle's tires. I've always purchased my tires from Discount Tire. The service rep told me it will take a couple of hours since there are 11 customers ahead of me and I said it's okay. He checked the tires and said that the newer are in front and their threads are very low. I told him that the back tires were more recently purchased and I want them in front because they have deeper threads. He said he will not do it because it is not safe and that if the tire with shallow threads are rotated to the back, braking my cause the rear tires to skid specially during this rainy season. He did not even check the record in the system and just looked at my receipts. I know that tires have not even reached the warranty mileage. Usually Discount tire reps will look in the system to check the purchase history and if the the tires can be prorated if warranty mileage has not been exceeded and use whatever time or miles left for credit for a new purchase. He told me just to come back when I am ready. Ready for what? So, I said ok, I will just leave the tires as they were and went to Discount Tire NATIONAL CITY since that's where I bought the tires and their customer service has always been great, but things didn't get better. The rep there checked my tires with his gadget and started showing his gadget's displaying a bar graph of tires thread in green and red. My point here is why can't these guys just be honest and stop wasting time. They are there to sell tires. Just tell me I need to buy a pair of new tires just like the good old days of smart and good sales people of Discount Tire and stop b...sng. I felt like talking to door-to-door sales people. So, I just went to EVANS tire and purchased a pair of tires and promised myself not to step inside a Discount Tire store again. I've been to discount tire before and they generally do a good job, but I had an experience today that made me want to leave a review. I had the pleasure of being helped by Anthony who took amazing care of me. I only came in for a tire patch so it was simple and a quick fix but Anthony still took the time to make sure I was taken care of completely. Great value too because they do the patching for free. On top of all that, the wait wasn't that bad when sometimes it can get pretty busy here, especially for a walk in. All in all, I will be back for my future tire needs, even though I didn't get tires today, and I'll be on the lookout for Anthony when I do. read more

Came without an appointment the day after new years because I was going back to work the next day and have a 40 minute commute minimum and didn't want to risk driving like that or on a donut. We were given an approximate time of a 3hr wait. So we decided to go to Costco and shop in the meantime. Came back and my car was already in one of the bays, the guy taking care of my car was super nice and actually let us load my trunk with our Costco buys while my car was lifted :) We were out of there in a much faster time that we anticipated and they brought my car out to the front. I paid $26 for front and rear blades, three in total. They quoted a wait time of 1 hour approximately. I sat down to catch up on my books and was just settling in, but then, I heard my name called. I was confused because it had only been 30 minutes at the most. They called my name again, and yup, I was done and out in no time! So disappointed in the store. Went with appointment, agreed to "check" alignment, haf to pre pay for it and then waited over 2 hours for only my ballance and rotate to be done. Only once was I told it would be a little longer. I still waited until I looked out and saw vehicle in same spot with no alignment done. I cancelled and got my refund, with the gentleman telling me he was going to let me know and see if I wanted to cancel. Really! Not going back to this location. This place is trash, a simple tire rotation turned into 2 hrs of waiting without getting my tires rotated. My car wasn't even touched for those two hours and front desk never sent me a tracking text message. Don't come here the store is too busy and if they don't see they can sell you big they will turn you away for tire rotation and flats. They make you make an appointment and when I came back the tried to sell me on new tires that still have thread. Gentleman stated that my Mercedes is front wheel drive with an axle when it's a rear wheel drive independent suspension vehicle. What a joke. I'm including pictures of my wear markers of all 4 tires. The gentleman that helped me denied the free rotation based on not enough thread. I had him look up my tire purchase on the computer and the tires have just under 20k miles on them. Took it to Hernandez tires and they rotated for 30. They agreed the tire wear marker is still under the tire thread.
