I started working on my car fairly late in the evening. I had a hard time loosening the bulb housing for one of the bulbs which usually work with hand/finger strength, but this specific bulb is hard to get to. I ended up needing a channellock small enough to get into the headlight housing but adjustable to clamp onto the bulb housing to let me turn it. The gentleman helped me find the perfect tool. I had struggled for about 20 minutes trying to use my fingers, and after I got home, the job was done in 10 minutes for replace both bulbs and reinstalling the headlight housing. The staff at Autozone are super helpful. I'll be back for other goodies next time. read more

I went to this autozone to pick up wiper blades for my vehicle. There was no booklet that allowed the consumer to cross reference which model is the one that fits your vehicle. You have to go up to the counter and ask the sales person for the model number. The person was helpful but missed one little detail and ended up giving me the wrong blades . I jad to come back to get a refund because they didnt have them in stock. Buddy ... its freakin raining and you dont have stock of common car model wiper blades. O ended up going across the way to Walmart to get the blades that they did stock for my vehicle and they had a book that allowed you to verify compatibility and exact model for your car. You young employees have to do better at helping people. Pay attention to details on the computer. read more

This was an easy auto repair, my 2019 Chevy Crew cab remote start worked intermittently. After thoroughly researching issue I decided to replace two components. The first item was the Canister surge valve and the second was the battery. After replacing both my problem was solved. Now there is no longer any problem with remote start. I bought the valve and replaced it in my garage at home. But the battery zone replaced in the parking lot at the location, because of the core charge. And the give Military discount. I was looking for one 7.5A fuse for a Mazda 3. What they had at that moment were packets of fuses but of different types. However, I found an already opened packet with a 7.5A fuse in it and with some of the pieces already missing. I showed it to one of their staffs, her name is Cassandra, I believe, and asked if I could only buy that 1 piece fuse or perhaps the whole opened packet for a discount. Unfortunately, Cassandra said they do not sell opened and incomplete parts even for a discount. As I went out the store and about to leave, Cassandra came after me, handed me the fuse and said I could have it for free! Wow! I could not thank her and the store enough for the extended service they provide to their customers. They saved my day! Thank you AutoZone! read more

Ordered parts and called to follow up as 1 of 2 items I ordered arrived but the other has not. Called them to get the status on the item that has not arrived and every time I call, they seem to not have a clue and I even spoke to the manager, Joel and told me they have no idea when FedEx will bring it as they don't have a way to track it which is absolutely absurd. He then told me, don't call us, we'll call you when the other item arrives. I told Joel that to improve customer service on their end, they should have a better system for tracking. He then just put the phone down or stopped talking and I kept saying hello and just ignored me and finally hanged up. What a horrible way to treat customers and the fact that this is the manager who was handling the call. I was giving a feedback and he did not want to hear it so this specific location needs to improve their customer service and hopefully other locations are better than this one. read more

If I could leave a negative star I would. My husband and I went in to buy a part for our car, that we owned for almost 10yrs. Albert was the staff we dealt with. He wasn't listening to what we were saying and had repeat the answers. Finally got the part we needed and left. My son tried to install the part and it didn't fit. Been going to this autozone multiple times because it's close to me and I would highly not recommend this autozone to anyone. Asked to borrow the device to the check engine light and they said it was stolen and some other employee said we don't have one at the moment. Other times they were just plain out rude to me in person. Also asked if they could change my car battery over the phone, they were speaking to me very rudely again as well with anger. I am usually a fan of Autozone around town, but this one left me with an okay feeling. It was moderately busy, and with two employees, it was difficult to get some help and it was a wait. I came in to get some window cleaner and a new pair of window wipers for the winter months ahead. I was able to find the right wipers for my car, after waiting a while for some help, but I was disappointed that they did not even carry Windex. I mean, they carried many auto detailing related products, but the Window cleaning products in line with those products, were over priced compared to a simple bottle of Windex. Just like the previous review, I bought a battery 5 months ago for my Prius and the battery died yesterday morning. I charged the battery and again it was dead with SOH at 4%. I called today to ask how I can get a replacement under warranty. The guy I spoke with said we need to charge it first.. I told him I charged it overnight but it's dead again. He said it's okay they have a fast charge to be able to test the battery. I had my wife stop by to bring it in and they told her it needs to be fully charged first to test it and it can take 2hrs... really 2hrs. Who in their right mind would wait 2hrs to test a battery. So now my wife has to go back tonight to pick it up which is BS. The last time I did an exchange at the same shop was for my QX56 and I didn't have to wait 2hrs. They were able to test and provide me a replacement within 15 mins. Could not recommend this store and the reviews says it all. I'll definitely go to Advance Auto Parts across the street. read more

I come to this AutoZone location probably once a month or every other month. They need better training behind the counter as well as staffing. There's always a wait here. There needs to be a specific line at the register for people that just need to pay. Also there should be a specific line for help with parts behind the counter. Im guessing there's about 6-8 computer terminals and usually 2 to 3 workers. The employees should stop selling unnecessary parts and giving false information. The AutoZone at 225 broadway should be an example of how all AutoZones should operate. read more

My battery was dead and had my wife pick up for me.Wanted to make sure everything was set so my wife was in and out when she went in.So I send my wife to pick up battery after she worked 10 hrs and when she finally gets home you guessed it wrong battery! Don't waste your time trying to get your oil recycled here. Stopped by to recycle my car oil on two separate occasions and was told each time that they were full. An auto part store, yes. An oil recycling center, definitely NOT. So why advertised to be? You would expect that if you bought your oil and filter from there you could at least recycle the old oil there.
