This is a very trustworthy company. They admitted that their employee made a mistake on my tire repair. Now the tire can't be repaired. But they replaced it for free. Wow, they could have told me it was non repairable and have me buy a new tire. So I bought their tire insurance at $20 per tire, even tho 3 of them were not their tires. Then yesterday I got a flat on my other rear tire. Guess what, not repairable because of large piece of metal ripped the tire badly. Guess what, they replaced that tire with a new one. No cost to me. This place killed it! Great selection, price, and service. I'll definitely look to Discount Tire for my future tire needs. It was a dark and stormy night, and I hit something in the street, blowing out a new-ish tire. It was a pretty rare brand of all-weather tire, and Discount Tire was the only place in town I knew would carry it. I called my closest location, which was in Beaverton, and when they didn't have it they took the time to find a location that DID have it, put in a work order so that the tire would be reserved, and then helped me to make an appointment to have it changed! Already great customer service from this company! When I arrived for my appointment at this location, the first thing I noticed is that they're taking COVID protocols very seriously. Once I was checked in, they allowed me a few options of places to hang that kept me a safe distance away from employees and other customers. Here's the coolest thing. They asked me if I had a warranty, of which I was unsure. You see, an ex put these tires on about a year ago and if I had a warranty I would have been well within both the mileage and time limits to cash in. Unfortunately it ended up that I didn't have the warranty, but he was able to allow me to retroactively purchase it. Not sure how, but he did! Anyhow, this meant I only had to pay a prorated warranty cost instead of pay for the tire, and now I have the warranty on all four tires! Woot! I had a good experience. They swapped out my tires for a different model with no fuss. They are on time and quick.

Brought my snow tires on rims to be installed. The PSI (pounds per square inch), requirement is 32psi on the snow traction tires. I drove my truck with the newly installed tires a few days and the tire inflation light came on. I went to the nearest Discount Tire and requested the tires be checked. They were all at 40psi. This is so far out of conformance that it is egrecious and further extremely dangerous when driving on ice. Since than, despite a reset on the tire monitoring gauge in the truck, my tire monitoring malfunction light contiues to stay on, meaning there is now something wrong with the system. Since I am not a mechnic, I cannot say with any certainty, but I certainly wonder if this is a result of driving on highly overinflated tires. read more

Ugh. What can I say? You get what you pay for? I came in a few weeks ago to get 2 of my tires replaced, knowing that I needed all 4 done, but it was going to be a week or so before I could get the other two replaced.. I'm not made of money. The man at the counter makes a snarky remark about me needing all 4 of them replaced and then proceeds to roll his eyes when I told him I would have to wait on it. I let it go, and wait for them to get the work done. They said it would take about 2 hours, I walked out of the shop 4 hours later. My next experience there, replacing the remaining two tires went fast and easy. Fast forward one more week and my front tires are completely bald. I go back in and the same eye rolling jerk from the first time basically tells me it's my fault. Apparently I needed an alignment really badly and they didn't say a damn word about it. They went ahead and replaced my tires for free, but they charged me $50 again to install them. Are you freaking kidding me? Plus, they don't do alignments. So now I had to pay $50 more to get tires put on again. They tell me it's about an hour and a half wait. 4 hours later (AGAIN) and I'm out the door and now have to go to another shop to get my alignment. I will NEVER come back to this god forsaken tire shop again. read more

The very same week, the TPMS light was on again. Than I made an appointment, it was for Saturday just before Christmas. They had about 25 - 30 cars in there lot. I purchased a replacement tire and scheduled an appointment online for this location. Customer service is phenomenal here. With the whole Covid pandemic, they are taking it very seriously by providing masks, hand sanitizer, having a check in station, and for only the customer to move their vehicle in and out of the garage bays. Also, I had purchased a protection plan for the one new tire, and for $25 more the guy offered the same plan for 2 of my original stock tires! Awesome! Great overall service, but never addressed the real concern. I've been here twice in the last 2 months and the overall experience was excellent. My tire rotation was free, even though I didn't buy my tires there (came with the vehicle) which is a huge plus. Everyone was professional and friendly from beginning to end. I didn't even have to get out of my car. Here is where I am deducting one star. My vehicle is a newer/used 2018 RAV4. The tires have excellent tread on them, but one tire is very noisy and gives me headaches when driving on the highway. When I brought the vehicle in the first time, I mentioned tire noise (wobbling noise, with no vibration) coming from the rear and thought I had a faulty tire. They did the rotation and the noise moved to the front - so it's definitely the tire. I brought the vehicle back and did a visual inspection, balanced and the problem still exists. I mentioned that I wanted to replace the tire that is causing the noise, but they didn't really offer to troubleshoot the problem - which is strange because it means they would actually make some money in the deal with a tire replacement. I would love to have this addressed - hint, hint!!! read more

I had purchased new tires from a different Discount tire location in Portland Oregon on December 18th, 2021 but, unfortunately did not purchase the tire warranty. Nine months later I had a nail in the side wall that couldn't be fixed. The original Discount tire location basically told me nothing could be done, by. I went to the Discount Tire at Sunny Side Road in Clackamas Oregon and the manager said that he could help me out a bit. He replaced the expensive tire at an affordable cost, and helped out with a warranty on the tires. The manager really helped me out, since I'm on a tight budget, and was having a really bad couple of days. It made my day a lot brighter after he was willing to help out on the tire. The guy that helped us even went out of his way and pick up one of our tires from Vancouver, Washington on his way to work. So the place was pretty busy but was still able to get in and out within two hours. Got all New BFgoodrich all terrain KO2 & four TPMS Sensors replaced as well. They make you set an appt. Tires and wheels were ordered and a deposit was made. When I arrived, no wheels, no tires. Excuses a plenty. "oh they shipped but they are not here". I didn't have your phone number. The tires probably shipped to another facility. While waiting, I heard a conversation from another patron who came in with a flat they told the patron they didn't have the right tires but it was fixed enough to drive on because it was a slow leak. I called in and they said they couldn't help me that day but to schedule for another day. After doing so and driving to their shop they not only told me they could not fix my tires but told me I needed 4 new tires because of my all wheel drive. when I asked how much for that would cost they said it would be $937 because they could Not fix the hole. My tires still have at least a full YEAR of tread and it was ridiculous to even suggest that.
