Had a tire that had a slow leak and made an appointment at this location to get it looked at. Arrived at the appointment time and the car was looked at within minutes. I don't think we were there more than 20 minutes before we were called up to the desk and told that the tire was repaired and we were good to go. No charge. Dishonest employee I called and made an appointment to have my tires rotated and new front brakes installed. When I checked in for my appointment I learned this location does not pre-order parts even when an appointment is made. I waited approximately 30 minutes for confirmation that brakes were needed (something that was confirmed the last time I was in). I then had to wait for the parts to arrive before the work could begin. About 2.5 hours after my appointment time, I was told my vehicle was ready. After paying, I went out to my vehicle and noticed the driver's side front rim was still coated in brake dust. (The Clackamas location cleans them with every free tire rotation). Not only was it clear my rims weren't cleaned, it was also clear my tires hadn't been rotated. I went back inside and they called the technician, Austin, in to speak with me. I asked if my tires had been rotated and he told me they were. (My account also noted they were). I told him it was clear they weren't rotated since my brake dust coated rim was still on the front. I asked that he complete the work. While waiting, the assistant manager, George, came to speak with me. I explained my concerns and he went to speak with the technician. I then learned the full story. Austin rotated one pair of tires, but he wasn't able to remove one of the back tires due to a cross threaded lug nut. Instead of telling me, he left the tire on and marked the rotation as complete. He knew he didn't complete the tire rotation and lied to my face. He also put me at risk of not being able to remove my wheel in the event of a flat tire. George was responsive and helpful. He had the stud and lug nut replaced at no cost (the tires have only been touched by Les Schwab so it was most definitely their responsibility. But I am concerned this was never disclosed to me. It had to have happened during my last tire rotation). He also removed the labor costs from my invoice. However, 5.5 hours of my time was not worth it. I am a long time customer of Les Schwab. But for a company that prides itself on trust and doing the right thing, this experience definitely left me questioning the integrity of their employees. read more

Getting a nail in your tire can be an absolute nightmare, and trying to find an automotive shop that can service you the same day is just the cherry on top! This was my situation last night as we realized that our vehicle had a nail in it and had been leaking air the last few days. They said it would be a 2 hour wait and that I need to buy a new set of tires. Even though the screw was in the center, not in the sidewall. I said I'm trying to get out of town. I decided to go with them for convenience despite the extra cost. Their service was terrible. Les Schwab experience the one off Sunnyside. 2 weeks ago wife's car had a screw in the tire I didn't want to remove it at home and cause immediate issue . went to Schwab mid afternoon half the work bays empty so not busy explained to the counter person my issue I was told an hour before they could look at it then I said I'm not sure if it had punctured the tire . he said pull it infront of the first bay so I did then before anyone looked at it. I had to explain to 4 additional employees why I was there one said I need to go to the front desk and register. I said I did that . he said I just say you pull in from the road ,you couldn't have talked to someone yet.. again I said I went to the front desk already. he said you just pulled in,, whatever .. the screw was in the R R tire . he immediately looked at R F tire I said twice it's in R R tire he said you coulda told me... I said I've reported my issue to 5 employees since I've been here then he looked at R R tire screw wasn't visible so he asked me to roll the car forward a little I Did he saw the screw pulled it out .it hadn't punctured the tire just logged in the tread he said you could have pulled it out at home youre wasting my time .. Staff assessing my tires tried to tell me I needed 4 tires instead of working with me on the purchase of a pair. Telling me my tires were bald. After buying 2 and putting the best on the back, I clearly had decent (not great) tread on the back. I told them to assess buying two. They came back with the up-sell. Horrible customer service and do not have their stuff together. I've used Discount tire for years and figured I've give this place a try for convenience as it's closer to my house. They seemed frustrated I didn't know my tire size and seemed taxed that they had to look it up. When I mentioned I wanted a specific brand of tire that is very popular they said they don't have prices in that tire and would have to call for pricing. So basically they want you to buy their own particular tries and make it harder to get what you want. BFG tires are very popular and you should have prices on hand. I've never had an issue with discount no matter what tires I wanted. Only time they had to call on anything was rims. When they told me that I said ok nevermind I'll go somewhere else she basically ok byeeeee. Like didn't even try to recover the customer. Should of known this place wasn't comparable as there was no line at opening like discount tire. But he gave me "tire socks" or something and said "only if you start sliding around, pull over and slip these on. If you don't use them, bring'um back and we'll give you a full refund" I never had to use them. He was right. The snow was fun to drive in. And I returned the item and got my money back. Do Not bring car here for an alignment. These guys are crooks.. They have a lift and a rack for alignment. Lift is to sabotage your vehicle to show you your bushings is moving to sale you parts you don't need. I was here this morning for a simple alignment and the guy said he won't do it because my bushing were bad and wanted to charge $600 to replace them before doing an alignment. Take your car somewhere else. By this employees doing, puncturing the driver side lower control bushing, now I'm concern for my family safety while driving. I will have get them replace immediately. Amazing customer service! Jesus walked me in and was super attentive. I came in with 2 tires with nails and needing a rotatation. I also asked for recommendations on whether my tires needed to be replaced. Within 10 min i got a call, diagnosis and options. He was not pushy and actually said my tires were good and just needed a rotation. I arrived back to find there was no charge. Awesome! Ill be coming back to get all of my tires replaced! read more
