They showed me how many miles I could expect to get out of each different tire, the cost, and the protection plan. Don't believe their promised times....apparently complaining about the extra wait is the only way to get your car on time or close. I arrived at 1230 and my car was pulled into the bay at 4 pm. I was told it would be complete at 3...the joy of it is I have to come back when the new tires I bought come in. When I finally expressed my concern with spending half a day waiting on a tire change and the fact that it was already an hour late, I was told there's just two more customers ahead of me....makes me seriously question my commitment to Discount Tire. I live in Arizona, while visiting friends in Texas I needed my tires balanced and rotated. Even if u don't have your original receipt, no problem at Discount Tire. Purchases are tracked by the phone number you used when you bought. Sunday night made an online appointment for the next afternoon. Everything smooth as silk, from checking in to them telling me when I need to rotate next and sending my on my way. Highly recommend the company and this particular shop. My car had started to have a really bumpy ride, I went in for a tire balancing and rotation. I had replaced the valve stem covers with some cuter ones and they had corroded onto the valve stems they had to cut off and replace all of them. They worked on my car for 1&1/2 hours! When I asked how much I owed them they said "no charge"! What? Yes I did buy my tires from them last year but still no other shop has ever said no charge, especially for that amount of work. I called here about tires. They had crappy noisy cheap tires and good tires. Good tires for my ride were $185 EACH. I found the same quality of tire elsewhere for $128 each. Point being they aren't "discount" it is a misnomer. If you do the math, four tires here are $740 before anything else is added(balance, road hazard, disposal fees, taxes). At other places equivalent tires were $512 before fees. Even if you don't use the same size tires, this place isn't a good value for the money. This review is intended to show why this place isn't a good value. The people might be helpful and nice but the money matters most to me. read more

Took the car to get new tires and had stuff stolen from trunk! They denied and say they don't have cameras in that location, convenient! oh and make sure you ask to keep your spare tire (donut) or they will "throw" it too! Smh! read more

On our drive into corpus, from boerne tx we had tire issues and had to pull over many times on the way there. 45 minutes away it was 5:00pm (they close at 6pm) I called discount (the closest one to us) Ralph answered and told me that they would love to help us out. That even if we pulled in at 5:59 he would still help us out. Then after getting us into all new wheels and tires. Fixing the issue and being super sweet and personable when we were there that wasn't the end! I literally drive an hour out of my way to get this store! Jason and his crew are flat out the best I've ever had the pleasure of dealing with!! I have a crap load of tires on the road, and this is my absolute go to for tires!! I can't say enough good things about this manager and his crew! They absolutely know how to handle business in a timely and friendly manner. I would highly recommend if anyone reading this post lives within an hour to an hour and a half of this store, you should go here for life!! you won't regret it!! Can I just say Wow! This location has phenomenal service, I'm not one to write reviews unless people really deserve them and can I just say that these gentlemen do! The manager Jason and his team members Enrique, Shelby, and Travis were all so awesome in assisting me and my husband and very professional. Jason is an outstanding manager and a very busy one it seems by the way he ran all over the store while we waited for our new tires to be put on. And then like a week later We had an appointment for a different day and my husband had been rained out that morning so he went in as soon as they opened just to check and see if they could put on our new rims that came in on that day instead and they did! I was recently driving to Kingsville to drop my son off at Texas A&M Kingsville & got a low tire pressure warning. Thank goodness I was 5 miles from Discount Tire. I proceeded & arrived to meet Enrique at door. He assisted me in checking out tire to see what the issue was. Being that I had to get to the university to check my son in by a certain time due to Covid all was not lost. All the staff members at this location were all top notch. I am a long time Discount Customer for a reason & it is because of service. May the manager & owner of this location not change anything because all was excellent. Awesome service!!!!!! First time going here and will go back!!! Ordered the toilers online as they were not in stock at the store, ordered them at like 10pm and it did say next day. Well shucks the next morning at like 8:45 am the phone rings. Ma'm you tires are in, when would u like to come by and have them installed? First available appt was at 1pm and I took it. Got there right at 1 paid for everything and was told it would be like 45 mins. Settled down in the showroom with my crocheting and I swear in 25 mins my text message goes off, my cars ready. Wow! This location is remarkable. We were on our vacation, towing our camper, when we blew a tire. We managed to get the tire changed but knew that we could no longer trust our other tires on our road trip. We were stuck... until Jason, the store manager, stepped in to made sure we replaced the tires and wheels quickly. We were back on the road - safe - an hour and a half later.
