Do your homework before walking in the door! So the tires are fine. The person I worked with was ok. But, when they say they will price match that is where the problem begins. Found a better price on the exact tires at another retailer and was told to bring the information into the store and would get money back. The deal from the other place was buy 3 tires get one free and there was also a rebate. When you take the information in they do not just go by the price of the tire they do other things that on paper should be almost 80.00 difference but ended up with an 8.01 credit. I just want the other consumers to be aware of this practice and do your homework and price check before you buy the tires. Honestly I would have not gone here for that much of a difference. Seemed like a bait and switch. Now that I know I will make sure others know this. We all work hard for our pay and that much of a difference matters. read more

Had a slow leak on my rear tire plus tire rotation and balance. Was promised repair completion by 1:30 PM . Checked in time 11:58 AM. At 1:15 PM my truck still outside nothing done. Was in a big rush had to leave. Very slow and poor customer service. No apologies at all !!! read more

Great job by Michael and crew! I made an online appointment for 10 am, and showed up at 9:40. I was greeted upon entry, and they quickly had my truck pulled in and assessed. They removed the RF tire, where I had apparently run over a bike chain link, and removed the link. Luckily it didn't puncture. They aired up and inspected that tired, along with the other 3, and said I was good to go. Michael also explained to me that my LF inner tie was getting down to the secondary tread and presented me with multiple options, along with an estimated timeline of wear-life. I was in my truck and on my way at 9:57. 17 minutes! This store has definitely earned my return business. Great job guys! My daughter had a little fender bender and damaged her front tire on a curb. I was planning to take it to a body shop, but when I saw the tire/wheel were wobbling, I turned around and went to Discount Tire. Jacob greeted us at the front door and came straight out to assess the damage. He assessed that a new wheel was required and that it didn't appear their was front end damage. He pulled up several options and provided the benefits and costs. I came away with a new wheel and tire for a reasonable price all in the matter of 45 minutes. Every single time I go to this Discount Tire location whether it be for a tire change or just a basic rotation, they always seem to break my lug studs. I don't know how but the 2 times I've went they've broken them. The first time I had to buy new studs and fix it myself since all they offer you is a "voucher" for another place you're gonna have to take your car. A day ago I went to rotate my tires and when we took the tires off today, the lug studs are broken of course. I called them asking if they could fix it and once again they just offered me a "voucher". I don't want to have to fix my lugs everytime I need my tires checked out. Barker Cypress just south of 290. Horrible service. I put new tires on my car and after driving away I discovered that at highway speed the tires were out of balance. I called the store and was told that they would "work " me in but it could take a hour or so. My response was you did a bad job of balancing the new tires you need to do better. So. A service oriented business needs to remember just that, service. A place can have great prices, superb work, but the glue that holds all of that together, and has people return to your establishment is service. I came in with the intention of buying a complete set of new tires for my ford truck. I budgeted and planned on spending anywhere from $750.00 to $900.00. I walked in and stood in line, (one other person in front of me, but two others at the counter), and stood in line, and stood in line. Never once, did anyone look up and say "Welcome, we will be right with you", or anything along the lines. Then while standing there in line about 7-10 minutes at that time, a male employee that had finished helping a customer, and was at the counter looking up something on the computer answered the phone when it was ringing. He proceeded to help the customer on the line by looking up and quoting them tire prices. He then hung up and continued looking something up on the computer. A few minutes later, the same thing occurred. The phone rang, and he assisted the person on the phone. I finally walked out. While I understand that all guests are important and should be provided great service, what I have a problem with is that, you provided great service to someone on the phone, but not in the store. I've worked in the service industry, and when someone phones in, and their is a customer in front of me or waiting in line, I politely say" May I put you on a brief hold, there is a customer in front of you, or a customer that I am assisting and then I will be right with you". I felt that the employee should have asked the person on the phone to hold and assisted the people in line, or at least acknowledged that we both had been waiting quite some time. You helped someone on the phone that was just inquiring about a price, but failed to help me, who had cash in hand and was ready to spend it. It culminated in me walking out and spending almost $900 dollars at another store. Missed sale for you, and unhappy experience that I will remember for me. read more

I showed Ryan a competitor price on the exact same tire I wanted to buy and he would not honor the price. I thought the matching the price was something they would do. Ryan made my visit the most un-pleasant experience I have ever had w/ purchasing tires from Discount Tire. This guy as a manager in my opinion is Cancer to their reputation and organization. He would not go to the website (https://www.walmart.com/ip/Nitto-Ridge-Grappler-P275-60R20/765744212) I gave him to show him the competitor price. Ryan also refused to provide me the "company instant discount rate when I used my Discount Tire Credit Card" . Wow! These guys are fast! I called to confirm if they had tires for my car. Spoke with Andrew. I then drove to the store, as I came in Andrew greeted me and knew exactly who I was. He processed my transaction then brought my car in to install the tires which took 30 minutes. In less than an hour from my call, I was driving out with brand new tires! If I could give it zero star, I would. Took my Mini Cooper there to replace all 4 tires. 45 minutes later, I was told that the technician had broken the lug in one of the wheels. Was told to drive my car to an auto shop to get that fixed. They would pay for the cost of repair. I was not sure if it was safe to drive the car and was not familiar with the area as I had just moved to Cypress. The Manager said there was nothing he could do, I had to take the car to the workshop myself. At the auto shop, it was found that Discount Tire not only broke the lug but also the hub. Had to leave the car at the workshop as it was not safe to put the car on the road. Was also told by the workshop that this was not the first incident of such nature that they had received from customers of Discount Tire at barker cypress. What started as a simple job of replacing tires ended up with the car sitting at the auto shop for a day and ruining our wedding anniversary plans for that day. read more

I always leaves satisfied with my customer service. How often can you really say that these days? They have bottled waters- self served. And ALWAYS well stocked. so about last week I was driving and heading onto barker cypress and it had been raining consistently that entire day. when I was turning on the road I had a spinout and my right rear wheel was done. a part of the rim was broken into pieces and I needed a new wheel immediately. i new there was a discount tire not to far from where I was at and thankfully Ryan the manager of the bark cypress location was able to help me out. my spare was put on asap and they ordered my wheel for me. I just got my new wheel and tire on today and it looks great. I'm so glad that they were able to help me out when I needed it. Made an appointment online and showed up early. I need to drive out of town and my tires that are currently on my truck are worn from some bad ball joints and alignment. My mechanic recommended that I change them out soon. I explained to the gentlemen from Discount tire that I am in the market of lifting my truck and putting new wheels and tires on the truck to give to my teenage son. Manager Ryan helped me out tremendously today. Need to replace two tires and he offered to find a used tires to replace the worse of the two tires and locate another used tire until I can replace the 4 tires and wheels later this year. I would like to start by saying a gentleman named Edward did a fantastic job and was very helpful. I would like to give the management team less than 1 star. I purchased tires on 10/12/18 and also purchased the warranty. When I took my car to get serviced at the dealership on 10/17/19 they advised all 4 tires needed to be replaced. The front 2 were so bad they advised that I should have car towed home until I replace. I then call Discount Tire to ask about my warranty and they told me they have no records of me buying tires. At this point I had my kids with me so was forced to purchase 4 new tires at dealership. That night I searched all my records and found the receipt from Discount Tire. When I called to discuss the Manager told me too bad. There was nothing they could do. He was extremely rude and inconsiderate. Their mistake ended up costing me over $1000 and they refuse to honor their warranty. I suggest finding other reputable tire companies that honor what they sell you. read more

Been to possible 8 different shops of their. Everyone seems to love their job. In good mood and happy. Such a positive environment ! I get the hazard certificates and love the free air and rotation. Maintain your tires and they will last. Recommend doing the online rsvp to save time in case. They will work with you for pricing if you ask. I took my car up here today to either get my tire replaced or patched. I got a flat on my way to work yesterday and put fix-a-flat in it to hold me over until I could get to a discount tire and have it fixed. And keep in mind the the hole that was in my tire was a good sized I could hear the air just dumping out of my tire before we put the fix a flat in it. So I wouldn't have been upset if I needed a new tire that was expected. And everything is under warranty. Now I told the guy working there that exact thing I just stated. I dropped my car off around 11 today and came back to pick up around 2. I come back up pick my car up and the dude said they couldn't find where I put the fix a flat and all my tires were low on air. And there was no leak. So they just filled my air. So I thought that was kinda weird. So I took it upon my self to call the normal discount tire I usually go to off 2920 in tomball and told them my situation and what had happened yesterday and how it was handled today and they literally told me I don't understand why they would do that I don't know how they missed the fix a flat. But come to this location asap and we will get this taken care of. So thank you for wasting my time and potentially making my problem worse is all I'm gonna say about this place will never return to this discount I'll keep going to the one in tomball. read more
