I have been to this Discount Tire four times in the past few years, and every time has been an excellent experience. The best experience was this very morning. On my way to work this morning, I rather stupidly ran over a curb when I took a turn too tight. My bones rattled, and then... the low tire pressure light came on. Yep, I wrecked the tire. Fortunately I was only a couple of blocks from this Discount Tire shop, where I had bought the tires about two years ago. I decided to risk rolling a short distance on the flat and pulled into the lot about 20 minutes before their scheduled 8:00 opening time. I sent some emails to my job about being late thanks to the flat and checked in with my wife, and then the store opened right on time. The service person found me in the system, explained my options, and got me out the door with a new tire in place in about 15 minutes. My interactions with this store have been uniformly great. Super easy, very satisfied with the time things took and the quality of the work. I will keep coming back here for my tire needs as long as I live in the area. read more

Blew a tire on busy I25. With cars zooming by and shaking the vehicle I was scared to get out and I called Roadside. They arrived quickly and were able to put on the spare. Driving a donut on a busy interstate rattled me just as much so I pulled into the nearest Discount Tire. Spoke with Chris at this location and normally they would have had me come back for my vehicle when the tire arrived but when I explained what happened and where I lived - he was able to find my tire and send me to a different location for same day service. Horrible wait time. We dropped off 2 cars and was told we can wait 2 hours and pick them up. We have been waiting for 6 hours now and the cars are not done yet. Should not promise same day service if you can't deliver. We just wasted our entire Saturday and this is my only day off. I might have to break up with discount tire. I have put 5 or 6 sets of tires on vehicles from them. All experiences had been good until the last two, both at this location. The last time my wife went in to buy tires, I forgot to tell her to decline the hazard insurance fee, I have never had a need for it. When she came home, I asked her if they tried to sell it to her, she said no. In looking at the bill, it was on there but nobody told her it was optional, they just included it. It took several calls a a trip back in to get that removed. Strike one. Today I had a 9:30 appointment to get my tires rotated. I know they are busy so I try to make an appointment to minimize the wait. When I checked in at 9:30, they said and hour to an hour and fifteen minutes, not bad, understandable as they were busy. At 10:45, my vehicle was still in the parking lot. I asked for my keys back as I had a meeting across town for lunch. They literally did not care, and nothing was said other than giving back my keys. They are clearly busy enough that they do not need nor want my business. Strike two. read more

I got a flat tire yesterday morning on my way to work and called AAA to come and help me put the spare tire on. I have a truck and it's a HUGE pain in the you know what to get the spare out from under my truck. I then took my flat tire to this Discount Tire and waited 45 mins for them to repair my flat, since they were really busy. After it was fixed, they handed me my keys and sent me on my way. They never told me why my tire was flat, just that it was fixed. Three hours later, my tire was flat again. Completely. And I was seriously upset. After spending an hour to put my spare on again, I went to the Discount Tire in Lone Tree. After inspection, they realized that THIS Discount Tire never even repaired my tire. There was no plug and no indication that they did anything to my tire other than put air in it. They called the other store and got mad at them for me, then gave me a free brand new tire because they said I had already been through enough that day. Yup. A free tire. Thank GOD. I could have hugged every single one of these dudes after what I had been through. Defiitely will be back to buy more tires from the Lone Tree store, but never to this one. read more

I usually go to the store west of Colorado Blvd. There is nothing that sticks out as a sour thumb with this location and I like the location since it is walking distance from Spark's Coffee which is my 'go to' cafe. The staff were very friendly. read more

Every time I come here I'm severely let down. Today I called and asked if there was a wait, they said come right in we can see you right away. I live 7 minutes away and was told when I arrived there would be an hour and a half wait. It's been over that time and they have serviced every car in the lot including the ones that came after mine. Last time I was here for a tire repair they told me they couldnt find anything wrong, so I went to a different location where they found 4 screws and nails in my tire... I came by because my tire was low extremely low. The technician told me I needed a whole new tire and it was going to take three hours and it was quite the undertaking. I went with my gut and went down the street ended up just being a nail and could be fixed for free in five minutes. Very disappointed and do not trust these guys. read more

I think I've written a review about another location in the Denver area, but Yelp keeps prodding me to write one about this visit. The location near my home did not have the tires in stock that I wanted so I drove across town to this location that did have them in stock. The guy told me they would need about 45 min and actually apologized for that! 45 minutes to get a full set of tires installed & balanced is never anything to apologize to me for, that's just damned impressive! Honestly, I didn't think they could do it that fast as there were vehicles ahead of me, but those vehicles were in & out fast and sure enough, they had mine done in 45 min or less. Friggin' amazing! And they get some whiney, demanding customers in there. I listened to a couple while I was waiting for my tires. Discount isn't always the lowest price on tires, but they will do some price matching, even with online retailers, but they'll explain that after shipping fees, time etc, it probably isn't going to be less expensive. It wasn't for me anyway. The customer service I receive at Discount Tire is nothing short of astounding and THAT'S what keeps me coming back. Pep Boys et al have light years to catch up to the level of service that Discount provides. I almost want to send them a Christmas gift next Christmas! I wish every company that takes my money had such a level of integrity and sense of value in their customers. read more

My family and I have been coming to this location for years. I've lessened the times I come to Discount Tire as pricing continues to be an issue. I stopped in today for a snow tire change over and the price was over $100. Eric stated that because I did not buy my snow tires there, an up-charge will be added. My Toyota dealer charges $70 and I was just there, but did not have the tires. Last year my snow tire change over was around $70 here and I thought that was high...high enough that I went down the street and paid $50. Why I said yes, I don't know, but I will not be back to Discount Tire. read more

I"ve used these guys at the Hampden Ave location 3 times in the last 17 years. Each time they've been very nice, courteous and helpful, seeing me ahead of the appointment time and always coming in on/under estimate. (Twice it cost me nothing for them to fix tires or double-check others' repairs and replacing my spare donut tire.) Their tire prices seem reasonable and the guys that work here always seem ready-to-help even when busy. Unfortunatley, i lived in broomfield for a few years and was left with a bad Discount Tire taste visiting one there. These guys are the BEST. I can't say enough positive things about this location. This is only my 2nd review on yelp ever, but my experience was so stellar that I HAD to leave a review. I made an appt on a friday night for a nail in one of my tires. I came in early saturday morning and while I did have to wait in line to talk to someone, I was told that they'd finish working on my car faster since I made an appt ahead of time. They had me in and out in about an hour, and allowed me to not miss plans with friends for the day. AND the tire repair was 100% free. First time at this location. Recently relocated to Colorado from Arizona, live near I-25 & Belleview so this is the closest store from my place. I made the appointment the night before and arrived at least 10 minutes ahead of my scheduled appointment. They will do their best to finish everything within 45 minutes. Since I moved from Arizona, they tried to sell me winter tires, but I told them that I don't drive that much and I don't do snow driving, I think I should be fine with all-season tires. I like how they are very honest with what they do, they don't just tell you that you need this and that, they will actually give you a reason for you to think about and definitely no pressure from them. One thing that I wish they would improve is the numbers of plugs. I've only counted 3 sets (6 plugs) in their entire store, it'd be nice to have at least 1 plug between 2 seats. But overall service was great and I definitely recommend this company. read more

First time to this location and i made an appointment to replace my rear tires the night before. Turned in my keys and the gentleman behind the counter said the car would be ready in 45 minutes. I walked down to Mickey D's and got some breakfast, and was back in 20 mins to find my car all finished, with the spare i had driven in on back in its compartment. Came in Monday for a tire rotation, wait was two hours. The man behind the desk was very kind and set me up for an 11:00 appointment on Wednesday. Said it should only take ~30 mins. Show up Wednesday at 10:55, wait for 15 mins to check in, as I'm waiting new cars are loaded in all stalls. I get checked in at about 11:10-15. I asked how long it would be and he said about 45 mins from appointment time. I said ok, an extra 15 mins was inconvenient but didn't want to make a big deal about 15 min. My car was moved into a stall at 11:35, 35 mins after my appointment and about the time I previously counted on my car being ready based on what I was told on Monday. My car was ready at about 12:05, 35 mins longer than I was told when I made the appointment and 20 mins longer than I was promised when I checked in. I understand things happen and that 30 mins isn't astronomical, but you shouldn't lie to customers especially when people make appointments for timing reasons in the first place. I have been to multiple discount locations and have never had an issue like I had at this location. I will definitely be using a different store for future needs. (I will add, the people were very kind they just didn't plan accordingly for appointments that were scheduled which is unfortunate as being able to schedule appointments is a huge reason I have always bought tires through discount) read more
