I had never been to this location before but the high reviews made me decide to give it a shot. I had seen from most of the reviews that the services were pricier, but the quality of the repairs was top tier, so I was happy to fork over extra money for a higher quality job. After scheduling an appointment, only a couple days after I had called, I brought the car in and dropped it off. Later that night I received a call going over their diagnosis of the problem and the quote to fix it. They quoted me at $680, which was completely within my budget so I agreed to go on with the repair. The oil leak was coming from the oil pan gaskets and housing, and they explained to me exactly what parts they'd be ordering. I am aware that it is much cheaper and not too hard to replace oil pan gaskets and housing by myself, but with a lot going on in my life at the time, I was happy to let someone else take care of it. The next day, I was called as the repair was finished and I went to pick it up. They had explained to me that they had ordered a part they didn't end up needing, and so my total came down to $440. I was incredibly grateful for their transparency as they easily could have still replaced the part and just charged me for it, but they saved me a good chunk of cash. Cameron had worked with me and he was incredibly respectful and helpful! I was very happy with the service I received and Cameron as well as the rest of the staff were amazing! I had been worried as some of the reviews had said that the good reviews had come from friends of people that worked at the shop, but as first time customer, with no relation to anyone there, I was incredibly pleased with my experience. Will definitely be coming back for other services and recommending Ellis Automotive to friends and family!

We were sending her out of state to college so needed the reassurance that the car would be reliable and safe. When we heard the business was under new ownership, we weren't sure what to expect. I was incredibly impressed by the expertise and troubleshooting diligence exhibited by Kermit and the team at SHA. As a female, I usually hate speaking with auto shops because you either get dismissed or talked down to. Quite the contrary! Kermit walked me through the issue, was transparent along the way, showed me photos to review the work that had been done, and exhibited excellent customer service. Their pricing was fair, the car is fixed and I feel relieved that my daughter's car is back on the road. 10 out of 10 recommend.

Heavy metal music blasting in the bays when I left my car. No help day one after I made 2 phone calls to get an update on my car in a 7 hour period. "A" answered twice and badgered me talking in a very degrading manner telling me he had to charge a second diagnosis fee of $205.00 to diagnose my fan blower because HE didn't look at the notes to check it while checking the gps screen which is connected to the fan. Outrageous!! Horrible treatment!! I'm in absolute shock at how this person can represent this business as he confronted me in lobby in front of customers when I came to to pick up my car that was a 2 day botched up terrible service job without resolution. The diagnosis was never done on day one with no estimate sent to me. Day 2 he tried to bully me into paying some fuel additive I never approved. The list of repairs was a mile long costing thousands and my second opinion told me none were necessary at this time and I only took my car in for the fan to be fixed and an oil change. Also, the battery purchased here in my car is less than a year old showing it needs replacement while it already had been replaced under warranty as defective! I used to trust this place but will never return. This garage guy is terrible and should not be answering phones or attending the front desk acting as if he is in charge as no one else was available! I even tried 3 times to resolve issue by speaking with owner of this franchise but no contact has been able to be made. This employee was absolutely arrogant , abusive, threatening and rude and I'm still in shock. Yes he did threaten me... a 115 lb. 70 year old woman.

    Brought my Mercedes Benz here (Hampden and Tower) for a simple back tire issue that I needed fixed…read more( a free service to pull a nail out). All was good and they said it would be finished today just give them 3-4 hours. This was at 12pm. I waited and waited to be notified my car was done being worked on and was ready for pickup. After 4 hours passed 4pm came around and I arrived at the store to see it all locked up and closed, amongst my Mercedes Benz still sitting in the parking lot untouched ( still has the nail) and the worst part- UNLOCKED. They failed to notify me of this, and now I am stuck. I can't move my car or take it anywhere and they are closed on Sundays. So they have left me with no option but to tow my car so I don't get it stolen in the middle of the night. I will never come here again- so unprofessional and inconsiderate. The manager eventually showed up as we accidentally set an alarm off trying to see if anyone would come get the door, and he was unapologetic and shoved papers In my face acting very egotistical and assured me I was the one in the wrong for not showing up before they closed. Even though I waited in the parking lot an hour before closing time WAITING to be notified my car was ready- like they promised they would. I get inside my car after complaining to this man who dismissed me and didn't even apologize for the stress and inconvenience of this all- just to find that my car was never even worked on or fixed- nothing was done- my tire pressure was in fact HALF the air pressure it was at when I brought it in- leaving me an even bigger car issue. They left my car out in the ghetto inconsiderately and didn't even notify me of that. Horrible business and terrible customer service- the manager should be fired for lack of attention to detail and the employees are fraudulent!! Don't take your car here if you truly want a stress free solution. I got treated like a burden - when I'm the one who should be upset.

    Yelp Review - Sal's Auto Tech, Centennial, CO I've never had…read morea more traumatic automotive experience in my life. On March 4, 2026, I drove my 2007 RAV4 to Sal's Auto Tech for a simple battery and alternator replacement. My car is my lifeline and income source, and at the time, my temporary home. I called the shop that morning; Audrey was friendly but told me I'd need to bring the car in for an estimate. I arrived around 10 AM, waited an hour in the office, then the mechanic took me to the shop -- my car was already lifted on the hoist. Instead of focusing on my simple request, the mechanic spent hours inspecting tires, brakes, suspension, and the underside, ignoring me repeatedly. I eventually asked about the price for the battery and alternator. The mechanic acted offended, and another employee quoted $1,700. and they installed them, but during the process broke my radiator. Then I was told a piece of my radiator had been broken by their mechanic. They said it could be fixed the next morning. I asked if I could stay in the parking lot safely overnight -- they refused. When I requested my property back, they called the police and had me trespassed. I was humiliated, scared, and forced to drive 7 miles to a Walmart parking lot to sleep safely. The next morning, I towed my car back to the shop ($190). I met with Sal, gave him the broken radiator piece, and he was rude, dismissive, and baffled that their mechanics had broken it. He told me I was trespassed and could not stay near the property. Even after two days, the radiator was still not properly repaired -- just topped off. On March 6, they sent me a handwritten note falsely blaming me for radiator damage. The accusations were completely false and misleading, adding stress on top of an already humiliating situation. I drove 10 miles to Denver, and the temperature gauge went immediately red. I went straight to Jiffy Lube, where within five minutes, they discovered the lower radiator hose had never been connected, spilling coolant everywhere. They fixed it promptly, refilled the radiator, and confirmed my car was safe. During this entire ordeal, I lost income every day, was ignored, dismissed, and gaslit, and experienced fear and humiliation from being trespassed and blamed. The shop clearly took their time because they knew I couldn't confront them on-site, and their attitude made it clear they found my distress amusing. My experience was not just bad service -- it was emotionally traumafinancially damaging, and completely unprofessional. If you rely on your car for work, safety, or even basic transportation, do not go to Sal's Auto Tech. They broke my property, refused to take responsibility, involved the police unnecessarily, and left me stranded. I cannot overstate the stress, fear, and frustration I endured. Honest, competent mechanics at Jiffy Lube resolved the issue in minutes -- something Sal's could have done immediately. Avoid this shop entirely.

I took my truck to Saul's Autotek to save money versus the dealership and ended up paying more, dealing with missed deadlines, broken promises, and a failed repair that caused engine smoke just three months later. They never returned my calls when the problem appeared. Lesson learned: the dealership was actually cheaper and did the job right. Full Detailed I usually take my truck to the dealership. During my last oil change, the dealer inspection showed about $5,000 in urgent items. I decided to try a small/medium shop to save money and found Saul's Autotek due to good reviews. I brought the dealer's list (without prices) and worked with an advisor named Matt. I understood they needed to perform their own inspection. Their inspection added several items--some expected, like tires--but also introduced what became my worst nightmare: the valve cover gasket. The quote jumped to $9,000, which concerned me. Matt insisted the number would come down. He shook my hand and promised--without hesitation--that I would be happy after his "adjustments." That was my mistake: trusting him. I made the payment to get things started late Wednesday. That night, I carefully compared Saul's quote line by line with the dealership's. To my surprise, Saul's was about $1,000 more expensive than the dealership. I called Thursday morning at opening (7 a.m.). Matt answered. I told him I no longer wanted the service. He said parts were already ordered and doubled down, promising again to "work his magic" on the price. He also claimed Saul's uses higher-quality parts than the dealership--which turned out not to be true. He said the truck would be ready Thursday. I told him not to rush; Friday was fine. From that point on, everything went downhill. I never spoke to Matt again. He stopped returning calls. Another employee (Christian, I believe) took over communication and said the truck wouldn't be ready until Saturday. He told me to just show up. I arrived Saturday 30 minutes before closing. An Uber dropped me off as someone named Ryan was closing the office. I had to insist he reopen the door. He then told me the truck might be ready Sunday morning. At that point, I said I wanted my truck back as-is and explained the entire situation. Instead of accountability, I received excuses: "We're open 7 days a week" "We offer a warranty" "Ford gets cheaper parts because they build the cars" Eventually, they discounted the bill by about $1,000--the same difference I had already proven compared to the dealership. However, I still paid significantly less for parts at Saul's, which raised serious concerns about quality. Three months later, I started smelling burnt plastic. Then one day, smoke came out of the engine. I immediately took the truck to the dealership. Without mentioning Saul's previous work, the dealer diagnosed the issue and stated (with photos): "Verified customer's concern and performed an engine oil leak diagnosis. Found spark plug hole seals leaking into cylinders 2, 3, and 6 and leaking externally. Recommend replacing complete valve cover assemblies." I called Saul's Autotek and left messages. They never called me back. I filed a claim with my credit card company instead. Why do I believe they used inferior parts? I compared the valve cover gasket job: Labor: similar at both places (~$1,500) Parts: Saul's charged $220, dealership charged $900 If Saul's truly used OEM parts, the prices should be close. A $700 difference suggests either cheap aftermarket parts or poor workmanship. Either option is unacceptable. Final lesson: If you think dealerships are always more expensive, you may be wrong. For oil changes, brakes, wipers, and especially major engine work, the dealership can be cheaper--and far more reliable. Penny wise, pound foolish.
