The turn around time was great they completed the job in less than 24 hours however my TPMS sensors were not reset...I returned to have them reset only to be told that 1 of the 4 sensors had died and needed to be replaced, I went and purchased a new sensor the same day Fort Wayne Wheel Repair insisted that they put it on in an attempt to preserve the fresh paint on my rims from the cosmetic repairs...they put the sensor on but still failed to reset the TPMS sensors the tech came out and said "we can't do it here are your keys"...I went to another local rim shop and they reset the sensors within 5 mins. Only to find that 2 of my rivets were missing from the same tire that the sensor had to be replaced on I called Fort Wayne Wheel Repair to make them aware and was told that someone will follow up with me on Monday it was Thursday...Monday came and the owner Derrick called as promised but basically told me that there isn't anything that he could do and that I can GLUE some rivets on myself because they are plastic!!!! There is NOTHING plastic on my $2700.00 rims that I had just spent $380 with them to have cosmetic work done...I felt very discarded and was made to feel like I don't know what I have invested my money/interest in. I had to call out to California to have 2 METAL rivets shipped to me and I replaced them myself...I will not trust my car with this company EVER AGAIN due to lack of consideration/professionalism/expertise. Not to mention they still managed to chip paint off the freshly repaired rim and my car was dirty when I picked it up a quick car wash/wipe down would be nice...when someone is spending money to enhance their car its because they care about the way it look so to have a company mishandle it and return it in worse condition than it started in is terrible!

Been going to this location for a decade, and this will be the last time I provide any opportunity…read morefor business. I scheduled a pickup (which they do for the business I'm employed under) for Monday at 9am- I checked with my concierge at 3pm that day and the porter had failed to pickup my car (day one missed). I called over to them and they'd informed me they had me down for a drop off (which I've literally never done in 10 years), whatever- I told them my car would be in the parking lot for pickup Tuesday at 9am. I get a notification on Tuesday at 12:41pm that the car had been picked up. I receive no verbal update until about 3pm when I'm told the car will be repaired and returned to me by end of business day. I got a second call about 30 minutes later informing me that was incorrect, and NOTHING had been performed on the car- they'd instead be returning it to the lot with NO SERVICE provided, but they need my car for a third day. Fine. My car is waiting in the lot at 7:30 Wednesday am and I CALL THEM specifically to inform the car is there, and I'm anticipating a pickup from them at 9am (to avoid a similar debacle to the previous day)- My concierge team calls me at 10:40 to let me know they just picked the car up. I was contacted today at 2pm for payment, no apologies until I addressed my concerns head on- to which I was met with a "I didn't want to tell you this, but we're super short staffed- I don't want to feed you excuses" blah blah blah. Chapin and Team- Customers DON'T CARE how busy you are. They care about how YOU MAKE THEM FEEL. And when you make me feel like I'm not a priority- I'm going to seek that feeling out elsewhere. All of this wait for A PAIR OF HEADLIGHTS and A SINGLE TIRE for a MOPAR/Domestic vehicle with a VERY common tire size no less.

Hello, to whom this may concern/ grab the attention of I have been taking my cars to McMahons for…read moreover 4 years now and the last two visits in 2024 that I've experienced were very unpleasant. My first unpleasant visit was in regards to me getting my brakes done. I dropped my car off before McMahon's opened (6:00am) to ensure they can get my vehicle in and completed when I got off work the same day at 4pm. I had to continuously keep calling and checking on my car to find out as I'm getting off work that my calipers were supposedly "glued" on and that they broke it trying to get one of the calipers off. This lead to them having to order me a new set of calipers which aren't cheap if I may note & I was told I had to pay for them even though the worker broke them/ caused the damage. I was very unpleased due to no communication was given throughout the work being done on my car. To add to that When they called to tell me that my calipers were broken due to them being "glued" on supposedly they then proceeded to tell me they would have to order me a new set of calipers which was said to be ordered and put on the first delivery truck for them to work on them and get my car back to me first thing tomorrow. I asked them to call me when they began working on my vehicle and again I got no call or update. I reached out to them on my lunch break (11:30) to then be told that they ordered the wrong calipers for my car which lead me to again being without my car for even longer and going into the weekend. Monday came around and still no update from McMahon's in regards to my car which lead me to have to call again on my lunch break due to the lack of communication on their end to pick up the phone and call me after they have had my car for 7 days now. Tuesday came around same thing no communication on their end I called on my lunch break to be told I still wouldn't be able to get my car back. Wednesday which is now the 9th day of them having my vehicle I finally got my car back. My second unpleasant experience came about with me needing my oil changed. I brought my car in first thing when I knew it would be slow (8am) they got my car in and got it done around 9am when getting my paperwork of the breakdown of what they did and what they found and etc they mentioned my wipers were not working which I thought was odd because I had just used them along with being told my brakes were bad when as stated above I just got them done by McMahon's not even a month ago.. I go out to my car to turn my wipers on to see what the issue was to find out that my wipers were perfectly fine along with going back inside to get a manger for her to see for herself that my wipers clearly worked. I called due to I was just still not understanding / in disbelief that someone doesn't know how to know if wiper blades work or how to work them when they're supposed to be the experts. when I called I was talking to a male associate who was said to be a service advisor and he continued to tell me how "every vehicle is different & that the associate might of pushed the wrong button" to then be told that they were entry leveled employees that aren't familiar with every make and model and not to be concerned with the information Put on my form. This is no excuse for having "entry level workers" handling my vehicle if they have no clue how to work windshield wipers or even have the ability to go get someone to validate if something was truly not working if they don't understand or know how to operate something. This just shows that they have a inexperienced team and no one there to take true accountability or that knows how to genuinely fix a issue due to I was told I would get a call back and never received it.

Run, don't walk, away from here…read more I took my car in for a check engine light issue. Initially I went to a nearby Auto Zone to have them run a test for the code. The results showed a proable thermostat issue. In March, Meineke flushed and replaced my coolant, so I was very concerned about whether they actually checked the whole cooling system. I was also concerned that this location caught the issue back in March and didn't tell me because they wanted me to come back again and give them more money. I also had my water pump replaced here in March. I talked to Tammy and asked her to pull up my past inspection results so I could see if they checked the thermostat or not, and if they did, what the notes said. I could not find my physical copies and the email links from March no longer pulled up notes. So I thought, "They'll be able to go over those notes with me and we can have a discussion about where to go from there." Instead, Tammy said, "We don't keep those in our system." I said that that is false because other employees have gone over results and notes with me in the past. She said, "All I can show you are payment confirmation documents." Huge red flag. The results indeed showed a thermostat issue, as well as an engine turbo issue. As far as the engine turbo thing, fair enough. But a thermostat in the system they worked on just 3 months ago? I can't believe that a part that supposedly had zero problems back in March completely failed and needed replacing just 3 months later. That's why I wanted to see the notes in the first place. Why would a business lie to anyone about that? My total bill was $832.22. When I went to pick up my car, Nathan, one of the mechanics, kept saying there was a 3% card fee if I paid with my debit card. I already knew about the fee; I don't know why he kept mentioning it. Why would I get hundreds My mom was there to make sure everything went OK because I told her about my concerns regarding Tammy. When my mom heard Nathan talk about the fee, she said, "Wait, you expect your customers to pay that?" Nathan laughed at her. Actually laughed at her. I sent an email to this Meineke's direct email and also to corporate customer service about my experience. I asked for a refund for the check diagnostic test and the thermostat replacement. Tammy called me and insisted that she did show me all the inspection notes I asked for. She even said, "Our cameras will show that I did go over those with you." She insisted that the part I had replaced was not something found to be an issue back in March, and then she read notes from the mechanic(s) who looked at my car back in March. I said, "Oh, so the notes DO exist!" A refund was not offered and I told Tammy there is something very wrong going on at that Meineke. The dishonesty, arrogance, and suspicious behavior at this location is out of control. I am considering contacting the BBB for help getting a refund.

This is going to be long and detailed. For starters, I did not know how to read work orders and…read morejust trusted my mechanics when they said work was needed. Meineke taught me to never do that again. I went to meineke in 2021, and pretty much stopped after a series of unprofessional and questionable car work. I highlighted the crucial details and dates. 6/7/21 meineke replaced my rack and pinion which includes: steering power fluid, manufactured complete rack assembly, wheel alignment, remove and replace steering gear, and outer tie rod end. 12/16/21 Rich's auto confirms it is still leaking 6 months later. This is when I should have started questioning things. A couple months prior to this, meineke called me trying to sell me on a rack n pinion job because they had photos showing it needed work. At first I was freaking out like oh no, but then I found my paper work and told me if they are leaking, they are under warranty. The service advisor at the time could not find my paperwork in file to confirm or deny, so asked I bring it in for the day to verify if it needed work or not. A whole day of holding my car, and they told me it was a mixup, it was an old photo and I did not need to replace it. This will come back in a couple paragraphs. Secondly, Rich's auto center also noticed my sway bar has lit play and my rack n pinion bellow boot is torn 8/2/22. I call meineke again, because my sway bar kit was done 6/28/21, so my bellow boot should be covered in the warranty along with my rack n pinion. So I go back to meineke 9/6/22 where they confirm "during inspection found right side rack and pinion boot twisted and town. Likely happened during a wheel alignment. Found all sway bar links tight." Welp there it is, in writing and documentation that I want both of those worked on with their covered warranty. What does Meineke do? Send me with a flippin quote for the bellow boot. And no acknowledgment that they worked on my alignment that probably ripped the boot. As I mentioned earlier, I had no idea what was going on. Recently I dove into the car internet hole, and after speaking with Rich's auto center who I 1000% trust after this Meineke nonsense, they helped me decipher through the notes and didn't want to work on something that was already covered in my warranty. Recently, as in 2 weeks ago, I came back to Meineke with all of this paper work to confront the service advisor for his poor work. All I asked was the things that have been reported for a couple years now be fixed. I understand that the warranty ended in 2023, however I came back I. 2022 with all these issues and was sent away. WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU MEINEKE? Shane, the new service advisor at first told me he could not find my vehicle under my name and info. He hardly looked at the paperwork, simply said bring it in and we will replace it all! More than what I was asking, but I felt sure this is fair for the inconvenience. I came in a couple days later, he changed his word verbiage to, "once I find your file and verify it's covered we will go from there. If we decide it's not under warranty, we will call you." Sure enough 30 minutes later he calls, and personally I don't feel like he truly grasped the situation. He said he brought it up to the owner and he denied honoring their warranty from when I did come in person in 2022. What was another red flag was, Shane went through my documented dates and confirmed the work up til 6/28/21. When I came back in 9/6/22, it didn't exist on his end. I say this because I truly believe the last service advisor was trying to hide his mistakes. I am familiar with booking and a service advisor computer for an auto shop, and if a cars vin is deleted, so is all of its history. Also, past info can be modified, or deleted. Bringing back to why the photos for the rack n pinion were available, but my visit for double checking if they did it or not, was not listed in the dates Shane read off to me. My partner called corporate who responded in a very unprofessional manner. All they cared about was it was out of warranty, not their problem. PLEASE HEED THIS. Don't go to meineke, they take your money and offer false warranties. They are the shop who will give you a list of issues, and rather than working with what's most important, they just want to bill the f*** out of their customers. There is no loyalty, their word is garbage. I look forward to meineke attempting to turn this around. With Shane's original demeanor, I was on board to say maybe things have changed at meineke. I will consider this a blessing, I do not trust a place who causes more damage than their work and constantly needs another mechanic shop who is NAPA CERTIFIED, to double check their work. That is such a sad story. A corporate mechanic shop failing at an all time high. I highlighted service requested and quality, because this would be comical if it weren't really my life.
