Yesterday was my first time ever going to this Discount Tire location, and I was pleased with the speedy service. I had a blowout (front tire) on the highway. I called roadside assistance who came and put on my spare. I was only about 8 minutes away from this Auto Zone. The associate showed me tires similar to those I have on my rear tires (Perilli - a brand I've had before). I asked him about some more cost efficient options, and he shared them with me, but also called out the loss in quality/longevity as they compare. It also helped that they had them in stock. He was a pleasant fellow. It sucks having to buy tires, but at least the service was fast and I was able to finally get to work. They were done a lot sooner than I expected! I hadn't even opened my laptop just yet to get settled in the waiting area when my name was called and car pulled to the front. Super fast and efficient. This was about 10:30 a.m. on a Tuesday so not sure if that made a difference. The store wasn't overly busy but there were a few other customers. However, I've experienced some BUSY Discount Tires. I have been to 4 different Discount Tires in the last several years, and I can say, without hyperbole, that this is the best Discount Tire location I have ever been to. Here's what happened to me. I found out while I was at work that my tire had a nail in it. Since owning my current vehicle this is the first flat tire I have had, so imagine my dismay that I have the dinkiest spare tire known to man. It is a toy. A literal toy not fit for driving any considerable distance. Of course this stuff never happens when I'm off work, so I'm thinking I may have to wait until the end of the week to replace the actual tire because according to the website, this location didn't appear to have the tire I needed in stock. No biggie, I'll purchase online and make an appointment to have them replaced at another location. My plan was to get the tire with the nail in it repaired so I could drive like a human being until I can replace it. The spare just wasn't going to cut it, it handled worse than the oldest rockiest carnival ride. Death was imminent. I had an hour and 20 min before this location closed. I quickly left work and drove my sudden death trap to this Discount Tire. Every location has different solution to the COVID/social distancing problem. Here they had a sign by the door instructing me to stay in my car parked in a regular parking spot and turn on my hazards and they would come out to help me. I was expecting to wait a while and had just settled in when I was approached by a gentleman ready to figure out what they could do to help. Sure enough, within 20 minutes, they had concluded that my affected tire was too worn to be repaired (true), they actually had the tires I wanted in stock, and were able to get me in, paid, and tire change completed, and I was back on the road by 530pm. I was amazed. I barely knew what to do with my extra time, as I had factored potentially dealing with this tire till well after 6pm. I once again had a vehicle safe to drive and they even put my spare tire back in the boot. A+ service. The team at this Discount Tire worked like a well oiled machine. Despite the heat and the awful humidity, I could see (who I am guessing was) the manager walking around checking on his employees, making sure they were doing ok in the heat, that they had what they needed, and even stepping in to lend an extra pair of hands to tighten a bolt or clean up an area. Made an appointment for a tire rotation and balance on may 27 at 9:00 am. I'm a technician that works at a shop and I'm usually do my own tire rotations but we don't have a balancing machine. Well bringing it in was a big mistake. The people up front were amazing but whoever worked on my right front side needs more training. They forgot to install my wheel lock on the right front tire. I don't know how you guys didn't catch that when you are supposed to torque down the wheel which tells me you didn't do that wheel. I feel like I have to go behind you guys and babysit your guys. I came in at like 9:30 AM because not even a month ago I got my front tire fixed here. Not only did it go flat again after 14 days, they told me it was just a tire replacement and was free. After an hour and a half, they finally come to me and tell me "oh it's actually something wrong with rim. " whatever, things happen I was fine paying $140,they mentioned it would take them 1hour to and 1hr and a half at this point it was already 12:30 and I have work at 3 so I said that was fine. I look up and next thing I know waiting 3 hours because they forgot to mention the "old one" is bad now even though I just got it less than a month ago. Now late too work after I begged them if there was anything they could do, put a spare on there, put old rim back on I DONT CARE!! But nope they proceed too keep me here and haven't left yet at 3:30. I took my tire to have a screw removed from it. After being repaired and aired up, I was told a bulge develop as a result of the re - airing of the tire. I was given a loaner tire until a replacement tire arrived which was the next day. The new tire has be installed. The problem I have is that instead of discount tire saying I probably hit a bump in the road which caused a indent in the tire and when the tire was deflated and then re inflated it caused a bulge, just simply say that there was a problem during the re inflation of your tire and we will order you a new tire. The tire that was damaged was a directional tire. The new tire discount installed was a NON directional. So now, I have 3 directional tires and one non directional tire. read more

So, I go to my local discount tire where I've always gone to get all services. I roll up in the wrong lane, I might add, because they have cones set up. I rolled my window down and apologized for being in the wrong lane because the employee was directing a car out of the air stall. He immediately says, "no problem" and asked if I needed air. I pulled right in and he checked the tires and put air in. Immediately my tire light turns off. I always have excellent service when I come here. While I had issues in the past I once again returned for a puncture repair. The tech noticed that tread was really low on another tire and that it was losing air quickly after filling it. He removed it to inspect and saw that it was separating on the inner non visible side. Informing me it was dangerous to drive on I replied that at that point I would just have to risk it as I didn't have the money to replace it then and there. He excused himself for a moment. When he returned he informed me he and his manager could not in good conscience let me drive on it and replaced it with a new tire for free. I purchased a set of tires that wouldn't ride right. The vibration was so bad that the interior trim was buzzing. I notified the store and they checked the set, balances the tires to see if it would resolve the issue. I returned when the vibration continued, again they checked everything and balances the tires again. When this didn't resolve it, I took the car to the dealership to check for any structural issues with the car. None found. I returned to the store and the team immediately ordered a new set of tires. Today they took care of installing them and immediately I noticed the quiet smooth ride returned. I am very thankful for the team there as they went over and above to make sure everything is performing right. Andrew & Michael are very nice guys, but I assure you they are doing their jobs and up selling at every opportunity. As for flat repairs, dont waste your time, they will have a reason why they cant repair it and you need to buy at least one new tire. I have been a client for over 15 years and this is the only Discount store that I have ever had any issues with, a sloppy install on a purchase of a full set and now a clear attempt at an up sell for a repair. Again, very nice guys and the staff work hard (reason for 2 stars) but they are about selling more tires and not necessarily taking care of their existing clients. I am done with this location. When I asked at 1:05 why they haven't started on my car, they told me if someone has an appointment they will go on top of the line. They shouldn't promote walk ins.
