Each time I'm here, they bust their a** to get my tires done. They're knowledgeable, friendly and fair. But.... TWICE now, they underinflated my tires (new tires) and when my wife was driving the car, the warning lights went off and she had to pull over and figure out what was wrong with the new tires I got her, in the dark, middle of nowhere. Twice. When you put air in the tires, look at the sticker on the inside of the door and just do it correctly, please. Supposed to be 36, each one was 31. On a 45 series car tire, that's a big enough difference that I'm glad I caught it NOW. read more

Les Schwab used to be my go to but after it took them 4+ hours to swap a SINGLE TIRE on my vehicle - and I was one of two customers - I was done. Decided to try out Discount as I have bad luck with my Prius's tires for some ungodly reason. They are always super friendly, incredibly efficient and transparent to boot. The car did not have any vibration before you installed these wheels and tires. The vibration started immediately after the installation. You already admitted that balancing weights fell off -- twice. That alone shows there is a problem with the balancing or installation. This is not a vehicle issue. The car is almost new, 33,000 miles. There is no reason to send me to the dealer when the problem started here, after your work. read more

Haven't been to a Discount Tire in a while since I have been going to Costco for most of my tire needs. They matched and even beat Costco's pricing on tires and installed my new tpms sensors no problem. The install was quick and they torqued the lugnuts to specs. Got my tire patched here free of charge, in and out in an hour with a 12pm Saturday appointment. Unfortunately my customer valves stem cap was missing and I didn't notice for a few days. Incredible service and handling of new tires for my wife's truck. I have given up on Les Schwab after several loyal years of patronage as they are simply not friendly, and they constantly try to upsell you on other services, which used to not be allowed. What has changed? Oh yeah...it really isn't Les Schwab anymore. This time we visited Discount Tires, and the gentleman came trotting out to the car to take care of us. (Les used to do that). Cooper was excellent. The tires were an upgrade and the added windshield wiper was necessary. My last visit to this place was in September and had new tires installed. I did not know how bad the balance was until I drove high speed the following day. I ended up taking it to another DT store and they found the balance was off by over 1.5 ounces! I had a deadline to meet and could not stop to fix this sooner and drove 180 miles with my tires badly balanced. Now my car's steering is loose and creaking in my struts has started. I got all new tires two years ago, and had to return to the store three times in order for my car to feel balanced properly. In just two years time, my car was shaking again, so I returned for another check. They told me that nothing seemed wrong. I told them that I hadn't experienced this issue with my car prior to them installing my tires the last time. Even after setting up an appointment, I waited 2 hours for them to then tell me that they had fixed it. It STILL wasn't fixed. I had to return two more times with appointments each time, yet still having to wait 2 hours again each time. The issue was never fixed. The tires were guaranteed for 80,000 miles, yet only lasted 2 years. I will not EVER be returning to Discount Tires, and when asked, will steer others clear of them as well. The guy was very courteous and suggested I come in so he ccould have a look at options. Fellow I met with thiss morning was clear, concise and kind. Got right on my options and laid them out for me. He comes to me....and he doesn't argue about service. I nearly called him today...but we bought the tires here and the "service" is free. I guess I got what I paid for. Next time...if you ask me to be EARLY at least be on time to take my car in. My appt was 1:30. I'm sitting here at 2:15 so I go in. They explain that appointments and making me wait 45 min after my appt and making me be here EARLY to wait works best for them. I explain my hair stylist books me at 1:30, I'm in her chair at 1:30. Same w my doctor. I am online w her at the appt time. He explained this is not a doctor or a stylist it is tire rotation....which takes time. Wow. Elevating our service much? Absolutely outrageously crappy service. My car sat in their parking lot for nearly 2 weeks waiting for tires that never came. I was promised that they would arrive on four different occasions, and after the fourth and final date slipped by, I was told by one of their customer service representatives that the "tracking information" for the tires can and does change all the time- and gave me another example of a customer who had been screwed this way also. I'm not sure if that was supposed to address my concerns or what? Either way it would've been nice to know that about 4 estimated arrivals ago. Not much of a tracking system if it can't actually track anything. I guess I can understand that they can't control how they were shipped, but they are in fact responsible for the four separate BS stories they told me about it, not to mention the two wasted weeks. There are far too many tire places around to put up with this kind of nonsense. Update: when I finally got my car back with the new tires installed, one of them was losing air, prompting my car to tell me to pull over after the tire lost almost half its air pressure. Pressed it back up, it bled down again. Took it back in and Cooper - a real shining star there - took care of everything and got it fixed.
