I bought a new set of tires from the Hillsboro American Tire in October 2023. Since then I've had…read moretwo leaky/flat tires. Both times Hillsboro American Tire took care of the problem tires. The second time, though, they really went above and beyond. The second flat tire was from sidewall damage, so the nearly new tire was shot. Unfortunately the Hillsboro store did not have the exact replacement in stock, they would have to ship it in from another location and it wouldn't be there until the next day. This is where the Hillsboro American Tire really stepped up. Not only did they order the new tire and set me up with an appointment for the next day to have it installed, they also loaned me a tire to use for a day until the new one arrived so I wouldn't have to drive around on quickly leaking tire. The next day when I arrived I only had to pay a small fee for the new tire (mileage prorate on the damaged tire reduced the sell price) AND they did not charge me for the multiple mount/balances of the loaner, and new tires. I've never received such amazing service like that from the other local big store (Les Schwab) and I've ran into problems with Costco not honoring their service warranty. I would recommend the Hillsboro American Tire to anyone!

At first I thought they were not weighted properly. He weighted the tires and I was off. That did not help. Luis then without any questions asked, had a new pair of tires on their way to replace these tires. They arrived in a day When I went back the next day it was a few minutes before closing and he stayed 45 minutes after shop to put those tires on himself. Making sure everything was smooth My biggest pleasure was being treated with honesty. This was a warranty issue, and everything was so smooth and easy, and the entire time I was treated like family. Check engine light came on and they gladly took it in to their shop and replaced the mass air flow sensor, only to have the light come on again before I left. Their lead mechanic let me go with him to drive it with their computer hooked up to the truck and was very helpful, kind, and knowledgeable. At that point, he recommended a new fuel pump, which they ordered that day. They installed the new fuel Pump and also found one of the spark plug wires was bad and grounding out as well. They replaced ALL of my plug wires as a courtesy! Not gonna lie, I was Leary about purchasing a vehicle here at first, but we are thoroughly pleased with the OUTSTANDING CUSTOMER SERVICE from their service center!!! The car first thing I noticed while on the test drive was oil pressure was very low! No oil light indicator. I turned around brought it back and let the salesman know. he said the shop would look at it and repair anything further. He called the next day and notified me the oil pressure sensor was bad and they replaced the part. inquired about a loan for the vehicle and they wouldn't due to price of the vehicle. At this point the hard inquiry exists on a car they knew wouldn't be eligible for a loan due to the asking price. my first experience here and most likely my last.

Highly recommended tires (Nokian), which had good reviews on line, but all 4 tires were mounted incorrectly - balance was off between .75oz and 2oz per wheel. One wheel had two different weights at 40 degrees off set. Felt like I was driving with square tires. Should have gone with my gut and visited the Pro's at Les Schwab - There are way too many options out there to deal with terrible service. You guys should focus on getting it right the first time and not apologizing during repeat visits. AVOID them.
