After having a bad week with my other car, i borrowed my moms car to go to work. Unfortunately on my way to work, there were wood platforms on I-45 north headed to Dallas and of course while merging into another lane, my dumb behind gets knicked on the passenger side and both tires ended up getting nails. As soon as I got to my office, I got out the car and heard hissing noises. Me panicking, called the nearest Discount Tire with recommendations from one of my colleagues, and honestly best decision ever. Teo the service rep, Gino who's one of the technicians and Bryan for fixing both tires... I literally have never received such outstanding service ever. So happy I came here! Usually I'm a regular at the discount tire by Aldine, but they always take hours and it's pretty much an all day process when I would go to the other location. I did make an appointment here. I was literally in and out within about 20 minutes it felt like! I got there I was approached to right away. The guy who was helping me His name was Victor and he was very helpful in informing me about how my tires were doing and also little things that I needed to do to the car. it has been a minute since I've came to this location but I will definitely be making it my regular place to come get any thing done that is required! Any other discount tire location that I've been to take forever or they are a bit short-staffed. I will say this location had a pretty big staff. And you can tell that this is a high volume store, everyone was on top of it trying to get the customers in and out efficiently! I'm extremely disappointed in the dishonesty I just experienced at this location. I told the red headed sales person "Josh" three times that I was NOT interested in windshield wipers and I only wanted to get my tire fixed. I just got home and looked at my receipt and I was charged for windshield wipers. This is a busy store. This is nothing new. They should have more staff to assist those coming in for service. You should not have to wait in a long line for a long time. That sends the message to your customers that their time isn't important. To walk past people standing in line and not assist them isn't acceptable. They also need to be more aware that their check air line spills out onto the feeder road of I-45. It's dangerous for those trying to get into the parking lot. The air check line is a good idea, just needs to be refined. Could also very much do without religious music being played over the loud speakers. That's offensive and bad for business. read more

Way slower than my Katy location but still reliable service you would expect to fine from this chain. They can use more bodies at the front desk to take care of the constant influx of people coming to the shop. Once you are serviced, you do get great service and the service is quite efficient. They are actually knowledgeable about many aspects of vehicles outside of tires and will give you their opinion on your vehicle if asked. If you just need air checked, or just want to have all your tires topped off, they have a separate work station to the far right of the business. You get in line to get the air done, and once someone comes out to do the first vehicle, they stay until the entire line is cleared out. They utilize their staff in the tire changing area and not the reception area, so truly they just need to hire more people to process customers to be a 5 star establishment. read more

This is the worst experience I've ever had at a Discount Tire! I was waiting in my car for 55 minutes till I came inside and ask what was going on because I saw a lot of other customers go before me and some of them had an appointment which I understand but must of them were walk in just like me and I know because they have us scan a code at the front door so I guess the guy who "take care" of me when I came in didn't like me or something because they just had me waiting longer for no reason. This is the closest to my house but I always rather go to others because I had a bad experience before here but I decided to give them a second chance just to be disappointed AGAIN ! As soon as I walked in already upset he didn't even apologize or anything he just saw me and said oh you are next in line 3 min after they took my car and in less than 5 minutes they were done. DT management needs to visit this location and award their great extra mile service. I wish now I had written down everyone's name. My first contact welcomed me and introduced himself as Denzel. Another tech noticed a customer dropped cash on the floor and made sure she got it back even though she didn't notice she had lost it. The service tech who repaired my flat tire even checked my spare after rotating and checking all four tires. Most people only write reviews when they are upset. This review is for service above and beyond normal. I live in Lake Jackson, Tx and was driving to Conroe to babysit my new granddaughter for the first time. I realized something was very wrong with my tire, luckily I was not too far from this DT. I pulled in hoping I could just get it filled up but the tire needed to be looked at. I knew that my son or DIL would just change their plans and stay at home if I was going to be late. They were attending a wedding. Carl saw the damage to the tire and also realized how I was on a timeline and so excited about babysitting my grandchild. He spoke with his manager John Perez and they squeezed me in with a full house, yet not taking away from any other customer. The tire ended up needing to be replaced , but once again, the entire crew worked efficiently to get it done quickly. I was on the road in no time and did get to babysit as planned. This may sound trivial but they understood that this was a big deal to me. I appreciate their kindness, efficiency and professionalism more than they will know. Had my car serviced at pep boys for brakes they left off 3 lug nuts off my wheel!! My husband noticed when I got home and I brought it to discount tires and they place three nuts at no charge until I could get my originals back. Totally didn't expect for them to hook me up at no charge! Went back to pep boys picked up lug nuts and they didn't have a lock to remove the temporary ones placed by discount tires,prayed a bit to settle myself and drove back to discount tires and AGAIN they hooked me up at no charge and these guys are super nice. One sunny morning as I was driving to The Woodlands for work, I heard one of my tires flapping and hitting the side of the car. This isn't really the best noise to hear while going 65 mph on I-45. As I switched lanes, the flapping noise stopped to my relief... only for a yellow light with a "!" and a little squiggly line to turn on in my dashboard. Of course, I had no idea what it meant at the time, but I knew it wasn't good and decided to get off at the first exit possible. Since it was probably less than .1 miles away, I had to swerve, cross 3 lanes and barely make it off the freeway to the feeder. I knew it was my tire when I was slowing down for the red light and my car was struggling to move. But! To my delight, Discount Tire was waiting on that exact corner with an angelic, heavenly glow and Handel's "Messiah" playing in my ears. I was able to get my poor car into the parking lot and checked my indeed-flat tire. DT was able to get my tire fixed in about 30 minutes, and they were professional from the beginning to the end. Even though the tire was a little pricey, they were able to match the tire/tread to what I already had, and even gave me lifetime insurance (which includes replacement and free rotation), which I think is worth it. There also seemed to be a lot of people waiting in the lobby area (did they all have flat tires, too?), but I was glad to be in and out, and on my way to work again. I've always had great customer service from this chain but today, this employee went above and beyond to make sure that it was going to be safe for me to leave the store today given the condition of my tire. Long story short, I was driving with a spare tire on and the store didn't carry my specific tire. Jonathon, an assistant manager, made sure that I would have my specific tire in first thing Monday morning. In the mean time, he put a brand new tire from another manufacturer on just to last me for the weekend, knowing I had a lot of driving to do.
