I purchased tires for my car in February. Not the ones I wanted but they did not have the ones I needed at this one. I went there yesterday to have my tires rotated and balanced. I just bought my tires in February and I knew they did not need to be changed yet but they still tried to get me to upgrade. After my hour wait I kind of thought they might but It's not time. It's my work car, it gets a lot of mil a put on it. Happy change them often. I like this discount tire because they are usually quick, they guys are always friendly and helpful. read more

Best customer service ever. Left Sam's because they said they couldn't fix my tire (that I purchased from them) and then said they didn't have a tire to fit my car in stock. (I drive a GMC Acadia, isn't that like one of the most common cars on the road?!) Walked into discount tire and was instantly impressed. They FIXED my tire instead of trying to sell me one. I got new tires and next found out one was leaking at valve stem. They were really quick to fix but then stripped my stud so now they are sending me to another business to fix which will take three hours to fix. They should at least offer to fix at location convenient to you. read more

I can think of a lot of things I'd rather do than buy new tires. When I have to buy them, I get them at Discount Tire Co and typically at this particular location. They are ALWAYS busy when I go. I don't know if it's just my luck or if they are just always busy. The wait is always a minimum of 45 minutes but they usually are pretty close to what they tell you it will be. The last couple of times I just go in the afternoon and walk next door to Joe's Crab Shack and have lunch. As for the tires, I can't ever find them any cheaper. What they sell me has always been good quality for the money and they wear well as long as I remember to rotate them. read more

Awesome place. Thursday night I got a flat tire. Friday I had it towed to discount tire at 5pm. They close at 6, but as long as they get you in the system before 6 they will finish your tires for you. I had 8-10 ppl in front of me in line when I got in the system at 5:30. The 2nd manager, Curtis, had estimated a timeframe of 1 hr 45 min wait maximum. They worked at a diligent speed and had my car's two back tires replaced in 1 hr. They forgot to give me back my tire that had 60% life on it so the next morning my husband called and they told us to stop by. It turned out my tire, although requested by me to be kept, accidentally was thrown out. (That happens a lot at tire establishments!) They didn't have (as we requested a different used) tire to fit our car so the manager, Brad looked at us and said to his associate, "We took one of their tires, so they can have one of our new ones." They have great customer service, they teach you about tires, explain to you why it can't be repaired if that's the case, are experts at what they do, diligent, upbeat, and despite having 20+ customers have you out of there in no time. read more

Terrible Prices / had to go to the nearest tire shop @ Walmart. They truly do have the lowest in the business.

I have been a 30 year, 2 car customer of Discount Tire and received fair service. On the last visit, Discount Tire damaged a lug and instructed me to get repaired at a specified repair shop. I thought that was very good of them. However ---- when the repair shop call to confirm the repairs, Discount Tire would not approve the bill. When I took time off to go see the Discount Tire manager, he insinuated that I falsified the document in front of others, he acted as if each store was separate and did not work together, and overall acted very nefarious. He said he would have to file a claim. The most obnoxious, non-business like person who had many negative insinuations said I had to take the car back to the repair shop and get photos. I called the repair shop they would not consider doing business with Discount Tire anymore because Discount Tire had not paid several of the bills due to the repair shop. I took additional time off to take the car to another repair shop. I then called to see when we could get the work approved. The person said he was the one who would approve or not the work and told me I would have to wait till the spend was 'approved', take more time off of work, and get the repairs done. Discount Tire seems nice but only if there is not a problem. If you have a problem with Discount Tire, YOU BECOME THE ENEMY AND DISCOUNT TIRE WILL DO EVERYTHING POSSIBLE TO MAKE YOU PAY, DEMEAN YOUR PERSON, AND DISREGARD YOU AS A PERSON. My advice, go to a reputable tire company - which Discount Tire is not. read more

Came in around 7:45 they opened at 8am. Although the people lined up at the door when it got close to the opening time the technicians had been watching from the inside and took the cars in the order that they came in. I would give these guys 100 out of 5 stars if I could. I went in today with a nail in my tire. I hardly drive my car except for business, and during this Covid crisis, that's been very minimal. They took care of me quickly. The manager (I missed his name, he's wonderful) came out and informed me that the nail wasn't covered under the warranty, and I understood why (the tread was too low). Unfortunately, since our business has been struggling, I didn't have the funds to purchase a new tire. He said it wasn't safe to just fill the tire back up and that the best thing to do would be to put my spare on. I wasn't sure how to do that, so I asked if he could help and he said they could do that for free. I was very appreciative of that and we got my car pulled in. Turns out, they were able to fix my tire for free with a used one and I'm not currently driving on a spare, which was my next worry! I am amazed that they even went above and beyond to make sure that I was safe and taken care of. I could hug each and every one of them (if social distancing would let me). Took my truck in to Rotate & Balance my tires.. Waited in line for 45 min.. Only to tell me that they couldn't do it because the Tire size weren't meant from my truck. They were 22" wheels that came from the GMC dealer.. I don't but these. The truck rolled of the GMC factory w these wheels.. and they are telling me no. Bout the truck w 3 miles on it. Run my VIN # and comes up w the wheels that are on there. Just because I'm not spending crazy money.. they said they couldn't do it. Went the other tire chain across the street and knocked it out in 20 min.. NTB will be getting my money for now on.. read more

I didn't see one slacker and I could tell they were communicating while working together on each vehicle! They stripped out a lug nut while replacing my fiancé tire, so they sent us to Midas to get it fixed, we get to Midas to waste 2 HOURS to fix something that discount tire messed up, took time out of our day to sit and wait. Then had to go back to discount tire to get the right color lug because Midas didn't have the color lug nut to match the others. No extra discounts or apologies given from their mess up. I can't begin to explain how great of customer service I have received. The manager Brad was more concerned with the safety of my family than making a big sale. It may look busy and crazy but the guys there will take great care of you. I would highly recommend getting your tires checked or replaced by this location. All the guys are very knowledgeable and could explain what a heat ring was and why it happened and what could happen if it wasn't changed. read more

This is for the atascocita store location. Go in for standard rotation and balance and get the "it's going to be a 2 hour wait" .well what about if I make an appointment? "Sure we will get you right in in time". So I make an appointment for a couple hours later. Fast forward, cut my afternoon short to run back across town for my "get you right in appointment". What do I get "it's going to be a 1 hour 45 minute wait". So why did I make an appointment "so you don't have to wait 2 hours and 45 minutes". Made an appointment here during my lunch break. Arrived with 2 nails, one in shoulder of tire and one in center of same tire. I previously purchased their warranty for this tire so they gave me a brand new tire for FREE and I was able to purchase another warranty for the new tire for less than $20. I was able to get there and back to work all fixed up with ten minutes to spare from my one hour lunch break. I was very impressed and couldn't be happier! I will never buy tires anywhere else. I bought 4 tires at an incredibly reasonable rate a couple of years ago and recently just before a big trip where my family had planned a trip (850 miles one way) my son hit a rock and shredded two of the tires. As it was too late in the evening to do anything about it I took the wheels off the following morning and had them at the Hwy 59 store about 10 minutes before they open. I was dismayed to see 6 people in line at the door ahead of me, but upon opening the sales associates came out to help those in line rather than waiting on them to come to the counter. Long story short, they unloaded the wheels for me, put brand new tires on and loaded them back up for me. I was in and out in 20 minutes and because I had the road hazard insurance, it was less than $60 out of my pocket for everything and no questions asked. I have purchased tires from this location several times. I am not the type to post a review of a business but enough is enough. On 07/08/2016 I bought a whole set of tires, leave the Humble Discount Tire location, and my car wobbled worse than ever before. I go back for a rebalance with only about five miles on brand new tires. They found that one of the hub rings was left off the vehicle. They send me on my way and low and behold the car is still shaking like an industrial vibrator, so back I go. This time a tech rides with and confirms there is serious shaking in the rear. Back to discount to have rear rebalanced. The left rear was 5.00 OZ off!!!!!! What the hell?! This is what happens when you worry only about speed and quantity. Slow down and focus on doing the job RIGHT the FIRST TIME!!!!!!!! Doing so will guarantee customer satisfaction! A job well done brings customers back.
