Awesome place even if you don't buy ur tires there and you have them put on, FREE rotations! I told them that they have a new customer. Not putting Firestone down, but they will not have that they will not give me free rotations, even though I've been going there for years and having other things done because I did not buy my tires there either. I have always bought tires at Discount Tires. Their expertise is second to none. All they do are install tires, and to some, this might seem inconvenient to have only one job, but they do it so well that I don't mind it! I just bought a new set of tires today, and they discovered that the old tires wore out faster than expected. THEY told me. I didn't have to discover it on my own. I received a significant discount on my new tires! When it's time for a tire rotation, I always go there (it's included in the purchase of the tires), because they also check the balance each and every time. Plus, I get to sit in my car while they do the rotation (like Mario Andretti at a pit stop!). I highly recommend getting the certificates if you buy a set of tires. I was run into a curb by a negligent driver, and it destroyed the wheel and 2 tires. While I had to buy a new rim, they replaced the tires free. The service people at every location I've used (and I've used two others than this Janesville, WI location) have been nothing but pleasant. We have a Porsche SUV, and needed all 4 tires replaced. Went in to Discount Tires in Janesville WI and had a really professional experience from start to finish. Even tho we bought the tires online, they still put them on for me with great care--the manager greeted me at the door and made me feel very cared for and not like a number. I chose to get insurance on the new tires as well, which was a little pricey, but I wanted the peace of mind. After installation, we noticed the sensors were reversed on one side, so they quickly made it right. I would recommend them very highly and would definitely go back. Scheduled an alignment for exactly the day and time I needed. Dale, was courteous and responsive. While waiting for my alignment I observed the Jarrid and Dale interacting with several other patrons. It is awesome to see employees treating patrons with empathy and respect. Car and tire repairs are often expensive and unexpected. While they were very convenient at the time and did do the oil and change the tires like was asked, they attempted to tell me that all my breaks were about 3/4 warn, rotors needed to be changed ASAP as they were extremely rusty, and they needed to be realigned supposedly. I passed on the offer and decided to go elsewhere to a very trusted mechanic, where they told me my rotors, while a little rusty, did not need to all be changed. Two out of the four breaks were also alright and were not in as bad of shape as I was told. Nothing also needed alignment. While they did do a fantastic job with both the tires and the oil, I feel as though I don't feel comfortable returning. I would rather go elsewhere. read more
