Communication absolutely SUCKS at this store! I got a Free tire rotation (appt at 9 am) and paid for a wheel alignment. The tech explained they don't make appts for alignments so it could be a couple hours, ok fine. I see my vehicle on the lot at 10:40 am. No one called my name out loud, called my phone or text me. I also got no check in infor like car is in the bay car is done etc. I thought the tire rotation was done and they had to come get it for the alignment. Finally at noon I went up front and it was done!!!!!! I'm glad I went to check on it - the tech went to lunch too and was back meanwhile I'm still waiting for my car! No follow up on the people in the lobby or no timeline about how my car was coming along ! The tech gave me a record of the alignment and it's time stamped 10:16am! I may drive out of my way and go to a different Discount Tire and I will never buy wipers or do an alignment again from this location ! Good friend of mine used to be a manager here and every time I came in I felt like family. I came in for new tires. Told me the alignment was free. Tires arrived two days later, got the old BAIT & SWITCH on the alignment. Suddenly it cost $200, but the alignment "inspection" was free. I was told it's common practice at Discount Tire to pay for an alignment BEFORE getting an inspection.... How do they know if I need an alignment without doing the inspection? Makes no sense! (Local mechanics charge $80-$120 for alignments) I paid full price on $1500 worth of tires. I'm Happy with the tires, disappointed I was getting worked over after spending so much money. I come here once a month just about and always make sure to tip the person who does that job in the crazy Las Vegas heat . Today I didn't have actual bills but quarters for just my back tires and I even told him my tires valves are not easy to reach and I can move the car back and forth if needed. I purchased two front tires for my 2017 Ford F350. After returning home I noticed both my front aluminum rims had perfect circular, deep gouge marks in both rims. I reported it to Jordan at Discount Tires. He told me the gouge marks were caused by his technician not properly adjusting the tire machine for dually style rims. Jordan opened a claim. Today I was advised by their claim agent that they found no fault and that my claim is now closed. Do not take your 1 ton pickups to Discount Tires on Durango in Las Vegas. Mind blowing service!! So I had a nail in my tire long story short, got it fixed for free, unbelievable. The reason why I was so amazed was not just because it was for free. The store was super busy people keep coming in and asking for the service, to all these and customers they had amazing attitude acting like happy to help. It had a little wait time, and I started to wander around if my car will be fixed anytime soon, but before I even ask for to help to figure it out the estimate time the gentleman came up to me and offered me to help. We were out running errands today when we got a tire blowout. Oh, joy. After stopping by a hospital parking lot to put the donut on (Thank you, Juan!), we headed over to our trusty, neighborhood Discount Tire. I've been coming here for years and have always held a high opinion of this business. I walked in the lobby and was instantly greeted by an associate that walked out to the car to assess the damage and let us know his recommendation. Once we decided to move forward with the sale, the associate told me that there was a bit of a wait and that it would be done between 5 pm - 6 pm (this was around 3:40 pm). Everything else about this entire transaction was very, very good. I was actually good with the price. The service was on point as it typically is with Discount Tires. The guys were friendly and nice. They do have a decent little waiting area with bathrooms nearby. Not to mention that there are plenty of things to walk to nearby, if you're feeling so inclined. We waited from 3:40 pm. They finally moved the car to start on it just, JUST before 6 pm. We picked up the car at 6:20 pm. That is one gnarly wait for 20 minutes of work. I don't want to make it seem like I'm complaining (well, I guess I am about the wait :P), but there just has to be a better way. lol Thats all. I don't understand why anyone would ever buy tires from any company other than Discount Tire. Once again, this company has proven to be the best tire retailer, especially in terms of value, service, and customer support. Recently, my wife returned from a road trip with a nail lodged between the sidewall and tread of a nearly new tire. She waited for Discount Tire to inspect the damage and determine whether it was repairable. I assumed that, since the damage was closer to the sidewall than the tread, the tire was ruined and expected them to prorate the cost, estimating it to be around $100. Discount Tire even sent me a copy of the set of four Michelin tires I purchased in May 2024. My wife drives very little, so the tire had likely only seen about 4,000 to 5,000 miles of use. After a one-hour wait, I spoke with someone (whom I won't mention by name) at Discount Tire, who informed me that the tire wasn't repairable. He then told me that the exact Michelin tire I had purchased for $300 in May 2024 now costs $384. I was taken aback since I thought it would be prorated and not charged at full price. I didn't argue and told him to proceed, feeling quite annoyed, especially after being a loyal Discount Tire customer for nearly fifteen years. To make a long story short, when my wife got home, I reconsidered the cost of a tire with 10% tread wear and called the store located on Blue Diamond. I spoke with the manager, Jeff, who immediately acknowledged that a mistake had been made. He refunded the $384 and recharged me only $56.25 for the new prorated tire. How many establishments make a mistake, readily admit it, and promptly correct the error? The answer is very few. Mistakes happen, but it's rare to see a company take responsibility and fix them so efficiently. That's why I will always choose Discount Tire over any other tire store. I wish all companies operated like they do. read more

I do have quite a gripe with some of the service unrelated to buying tires - When filling air here, the employees seem unmotivated to keep the line moving. Now I get it - you have some obligation to sell and look at the condition of tires but when the line of people is 10 cars long and you're just chatting it's a bit irritating. And how do I know? Well you gave me a spiel too. That's honestly forgivable considering it is somewhat of a free service - but what bothered me more is that I came in to get a tire rotation and get one of my tires specifically checked for a possible leak and also checked the box for air to get evened out on the tires - I left with one tire at 38, two at 30, and one at 33. That seems a bit unacceptable. I won't stop coming here, but I do think that it is worth noting that the team could have done better. read more

Not my favorite place this is the 2nd time I came in waited an hr for them to tell me they wouldn't repair my tire. Mind you I called 1st to ask for what reasons they wouldn't plug my tire because last time they refused to. They said as long as it wasn't on the wall of the tire. The screw was in the dead center of my tire so I still came in. I get it's a free service, I'd pay to have it done but don't waste my time. Im pregnant with twins sitting in here is not comfortable. I'm not even sure if I'm keeping my car I just need to get it to a mechanic so I was not ready to buy new tires. My dad recommended Discount Tire to fix my low pressure tire and wow what a great experience! The place was close to where I was staying and I was able to make an appointment online. When I arrived I got a little confused and pulled up behind other cars waiting in line (almost like a drive-thru) and decided to call to see if I was checking in correctly. I wasn't lol. Luckily they answered the phone quickly, told me to park my car and check in inside. There were many customers there but they had plenty of staff hustling around so I didn't have to wait for long. I also didn't have to wait long for them to repair my tire and then they gave it back to me for free! Felt like I had won the lottery. The only thing I will quickly mention is I got a lot of text messages on the status of the appointment and when I tried to click prompts like "I've arrived" it didn't work. They also sent a text saying my job was completed and it wasn't just yet. No fault of anyone there, they just need to fix it for future use. I just wanted to give these guys their flowers. Came in for a tire check a few days ago because I suspected there was a leak that we couldn't see. My husband made an appointment a couple days prior and I would definitely recommend making an appointment if you can. When I came in, they were pretty busy, but I understood that it may be a bit of a wait. A couple of the workers kept apologizing for the wait and appreciated our patience, which I love having worked in customer service myself. When it was my turn, I was greeted and helped by one of their staff who was very nice and attentive to my concerns with my tire.
